If you are a fan of Joseph on Big Brother 24, check out Jordan on Love Boat.

Load them up with alcohol Cocktail Party. This is like Bachelor on a boat. Bartender Isaac from Love Boat, is there to offer cheesy support. . I don’t know, maybe starting this thread was a waste of FORT space.

Oh, after Alisa gets to know the guys, she is introduced to 2 more new guys. But, chooses Michael, who shared his story in the beginning of changing his life from player, to looking for a meaningful relationship.

Marty seems like a nice guy. Looking at him, I thought he was a player, but he wants a family. Are they just faking this to win? Alisa now has the hots for Nathan. While Michael is telling the bartender his date with Alisa last night was amazing. Bartender wants him to break up the date Alisa is on with Nathan. But, that’s not who he is. Ahhhh, this is like the producers from Bachelor, just hopped on over to CBS to poke the drama story boards. Which is exactly what drove me away from ABC.

Both Nathan and Michael, think they made the connection with Alisa. Of course. Sail Away ceremony determines which 5 of the 7 guys remaining will stay, and which two will sail away.

I am glad I am not the only one watching this. I have already watched the first episode of the Aussie version of this show. I think they filmed it at the same time because they also started in Barcelona and have the same captain Paulo. The shows themselves are a little different. I think I prefer the Aussie version. They started on dry land and they don't have a cash prize like here.

Alisa picks newcomer Nathan! Marty is safe, Daniel is safe, Brett is saved. I think Michael will be saved, but we go to commercial. I like Michael best of the remaining guys. Although I think Jordan was so uncomfortable, he just couldn’t be himself.

Nicole saved Jordan! Yay! I am so happy he gets to stay. Sorry Michael, bye Forrest.

I am tentatively watching. I am not a big fan of the "love" shows but since I was already on the CBS app for AR and Survivor... I thought Id give it a try. . . that is how I watched the one season of Love Island and then was glad I had when I watched the challenge.
Boats are too windy. Maybe more stuff will be indoors.
The upcoming challenge looks good.
Too many hosts/captains/bartenders - kind of making it worse. I really dont need them all discussing the potential relationships . . . both weird AND boring. Plus Jerry can't be *that* into everything happening. So weird and fake.
One thing watching it made me wonder - are these shows successful? Any love island or bachelor/bacherlette couples together/married still? I might be able to muster more interest if I thought any of these people might actually find love. Off to google. . .

Well I was wrong. . . if the google is correct: Out of 26 seasons of The Bachelor and 19 seasons of The Bachelorette, there are only 15 couples still standing. That's a third. Id be impressed with half but was way more cynical so would have guessed less than a 1/3.

IMO this is a 10PM show, not 9PM. I won't watch so I changed channels then had to watch the clock so I could be back in time for the start of TAR.

It’s not a quality show, and it was clearly placed between Survivor and TAR for a reason. No one would watch it after viewing the first episode.

Enjoy it my friend. I am with you and Arielflies, not interested. I only watched because the premiere was after Survivor and before TAR. One show was enough to convince me that I am not interested. I don't care about the people, and the premise is as sleazy as BIP.

I am disappointed others aren't watching. I have to admit that I am watching this show and it's Australian version. They are similar...same captain, same ship, same premise, but different hosts and cruise directors and bartenders. Also the American version has a cash prize, but the AU doesn't. I will admit that I like the AU version better. They seem a little more relaxed and natural. I will stick it out because BIP is total idiocy this season and other than Amazing Race that is it for me.

The couples have a challenge during which they have to answer some personal questions which will add to a combination they will have once they get to the top of the stairs they have to climb. If they lie, they won't be able to open their locks.
Brett and Brooke win even thought she thinks she is dating a priest since he lost his virginity at 24 and slept with 5 people.

Meanwhile Nicole is more concerned that Jordan admitted to cheating on 4 partners as does Nathan about Alisa cheating. Before they can really discuss anything a new lady arrives...Kendra from Canada.
Nicole sees Jordan's reaction. Things may not be looking good for her.
Nathan also is checking her out.
Nicole is hitting on Daniel and Shae-Lynn isn't thrilled.

Cruise people set up Kendra with Jordan on a date. It goes well. They are also setting up Daniel and Nicole.
They let Brooke know that Brett is sick and can't continue the journey. He probably got covid. She is upset and thinks that is it for her.
Now picking partners...
Since Brett is gone, 2 ladies are going home
Marty naturally picks Emily Daniel picks Shay again Nathan picks Alisa again Jordan picks Kendra...
But here comes a Dean...a model, 25 who gets to pick between Nicole and Brooke. He picks Nicole...surprising nobody...because of her dress...she showed more leg. The guy I am watching it said he would pick her because she was wearing a more revealing dress. Called it Mekel!

I am still here ... I was disappointed in the challenge. Id like to see more challenge stuff. The will they be honest was dumb. They clearly previously answered and knew the answers. And then only 1 couple was able to test if the answers were honest.
Still too many hosts discussing the couples I don't enjoy that at all. Weird.
So weird that whats his name left unexpectedly. though I didnt love that couple so not sad the person who went home went home.
I may stick with it anyway. lol! I do like a few of the couples - Daniel and Shay, the smiley guy and girl who says she is a virgin (not that I disbelieve her). It'll probably be last on my watch list so probably be running a bit behind on getting to it.

I gave it HARD PASS watching the commercials for this show. When you watched it religiously back in the late 70's early 80's and LOVED it .... a reboot in 2022 .... naaaaaa.

Midol, I'm still popping in on it when I have time. Lucky they put it in between my two favorite shows! I missed part of the episode where that guy got sick and went home, but am watching tonight. Dan and Shay seem very sweet together, and fun. I'm glad they won the challenge, and that field of lavender was SO beautiful! I could smell it from here. Jerry O'Connell sure got luck with his hostess wife, Rebecca Romijn; for a very weird looking guy he really scored!

ITs not a show you have to give full attention too. But I am here for now. ITA like Daniel and Shay-lynn. And loved that lavender field too. JO really did luck out, she is beautiful and not totally awkward as a host. I think we can do away with the Captain, bartender, cruise director and Jerry and she can just do it all and the show would be much better. for the love of all things cruise ships can we please stop having the cruise employees discuss the couples in that weird and awful way. Ugh.

Sorry, but Marty gives me the creeps! I can't imagine how he won that contest??? Emily doesn't mind how icky he is, though, and reveals to him that she's a virgin, which he doesn't mind.
There are a few players on this ship (is this F*boy Island?), and plenty of catty comments. Not the most enjoyable to watch (except for Daniel and Shay).
Jordan and Kendra are surely headed for the rocks, right?

It is just like Love Island…lol Girls pick one week than the guys.
I wasn’t going to watch but caught it the first night. Not liking the hosts or need the Captain ,cruise director and bartender talking about the couples.
Like the people in the background taking pictures of them doing the games. Not a cruise I would want to be on with all the filming.
That soap challenge must have taken a long time. I would have kept it in the water more to make it melt.

Well that didn't take long... CBS’ ‘Real Love Boat’ Banished to Paramount+ - Variety Thank the skies! There was no logical reason to move TAR to 10PM. They knew Love Boat was a loser so they should have put it on at 10PM from the start and just let it slowly die, instead of this car crash after 4 episodes.
