Richard Harrison, aka "The Old Man" on History Channel's "Pawn Stars", has died at age 77 after battling Parkinson's. He was a loveable curmudgeon whom hubby and I enjoyed as fans of his show. May he rest in peace.
I read an article that praised him up and down for giving us the Jackson talent...then a couple of paragraphs later it talks about an interview where MJ said he was so afraid of Joe that there were times it would make him feel like throwing up. I think Joe screwed up those kids and the ones that made it big did it despite him not because of him.
Nancy Sinatra, Frank's 1st wife and mother of his 3 children, has died at age 101! What a long life! May she rest in peace.
Did Nancy Jr fall out with her brother? It seems odd she tweeted..
My sister and I thank you all for your very thoughtful messages of condolence. Our mother was a fighter until the end when her brave, loving heart gave out. She is survived by her sister, her daughters, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She made a difference.
Very sad. She did seem to have many troubles in her life. On the show (Ladies of London) she was very moody and seemed depressed a lot of the time. It seems that she is one more example of how, having all the money, pedigree, glamour, beauty, and money in the world doesn't necessarily make for a happy life or a happy person.
Sad to realize that Charlotte Rae outlives two of the three kids from Diff'rent Strokes. She was definitely one of those actresses that I think many of us wanted to believe was the same person in life that she was as Mrs Garrett.
