Maybe in most cases nothing good can come of talking about a family member that has wronged us even after their passing, but in this case Bob is not family, and moreover, while it may not be easy to hear or think about, he paved the way for the Matt Lauers of today. Thank heaven for the Me Too Movement. The women on Bob's program were powerless.

Sorry, I disagree. When a perpetrator dies, the victims continue to live a life sentence of memories. They don't need to be quiet, nor does anyone else have to feel like the deceased is entitled to protection.

Reading stories about Barker demanding oral sex between segments and insisting he be called “Daddy” just make me want to hurl. Alive or dead he gets zero respect from me… nor does anyone like him who inflicted such pain. |

I didn't know that Bob Barker was a sex offender until just now, reading this article. And he ADMITTED it, so there's not even any doubt! Boy, that just makes me sick! I thought well of him for so many years, and now I'm just ugh, disgusted. (And yes, of course we have to talk about these things! How on earth are we going to be able to stop this behavior if we don't talk about it!) |

If you want people to say good things about you when you're gone, try being a decent human being while you're still alive. I read an article earlier than mentioned he had been struggling with manic depression, which might mean he died by suicide. It seems to be epidemic lately  |

It's hard to believe that sexy young man from my youth was 90. I sure enjoyed him in Man from U.N.C.L.E. and whenever he popped up in something else since then. Thanks for the memories, sir!

Tonight CBS had three old reruns of NCIS on and I had tuned in. The first show was originally from 2003, and Ducky was featured on the show. Then moments later I see posts on Facebook announcing that he passed away. I did not know he was 90! And yes, The Man from U.N.C.L.E was definitely must-see TV!

The best third baseman in history - Brooks Robinson - passed away at 86. He was in the major leagues for 23 years - every day of them spent with the Baltimore Orioles. He was a class act. RPI, Brooksie.
