^ I meant last summer. She referred to some guy earlier, and I could not put my finger on it. I remember liking Ivan at first, but something went wrong and I'm not sure what it was but I remember thinking we were wrong about him. Did he yell at someone or something??

Wow. Andrew admitted that his heart is still with Teddi. Jessenia is looking so stupid and such a producer puppet.
Good. Get the hell out Jessenia. He doesn't want you. Wth can't you accept that?

Andrew finally breaks through with a confession about Teddi, and how his heart isn't open because of his feelings for her. Jessenia leaves.
Ency was horrible: after seeing that behavior, there's no way I'd go with her if I were Andrew. Waiting on the sidelines?? Ridiculous.

I don't remember that at all. That is how memorable this is. Andrew is ready...just not with you. Accept that.

Yay! Andrew is finally fed up, and wants to leave. He says everything that just happened goes against everything he believes in. Good for him. Her manipulation, rudeness and ultimatum didn't work on him -- he's a better guy than I gave him credit for earlier this season.
Horrible Ency gets desperate and starts grabbing him, begging him, promising him things. Ugh. Awful. Run, Andrew!

I cannot believe these women. You are begging him after giving him an ultimatum and barely knowing him for a hot minute. These women have no bloody self respect and can't take no for an answer.
I don't get all these tears for a guy you just met. Pathetic.

That was painful (or itchy?), listening to her say the same words over and over and over and over. She had no argument, just "please." Desperate, drunk?, mean and manipulative - why wouldn't he want to stay? haha.
So I wonder if Andrew will show up at Teddi's apartment door next week?

I so feel for Andrew. I was also wondering if he will go look for Teddi?

I think Jessenia had a relationship with Ivan but broke up with him when another guy who she knew from San Diego (whose name I can’t remember) came in the show. It was this other guy she’s talking about. He broke her heart last summer. The scenario was exactly the same as this one (from what I’m reading here—I can’t watch live). She went to the ”prom” last year with her guy, and producers brought in some new girls. One of them was named Alana, I think. She, Jessenia, and the boyfriend had all hung out together (with other Bachelor folks) in San Diego before going on the show, and there had been a bit of a triangle between the three pre-show.
When the new girl showed up at prom, the guy snuck off and was making out with her, and Jessenia caught them. She was crushed, and everyone was super mad at the couple for hurting her. Joe and a bunch of other people ganged up on the new girl and the boyfriend and basically kicked them off the beach, accusing them of doing a Brendan-Piper thing and using Jessenia, which I don’t think was the case at all Major bullying! Interestingly, that couple is still together.
But bottom-line if Jessenia was being dramatic, that’s why. Producers set her up to relive last year’s trauma.

The raccoon was the best part of this episode.

Wait, how many days had Ency been there at this point? WHY is she bawling in the bathroom and giving Andrew ultimatums? She just met him! He looked dead inside as she was begging him to stay. I'm glad he fled the beach. What a mess.
Did the prom just turn them all into teenagers? UGH, the immaturity.

As soon as I read your post I remembered who it was...Chris Conran and Alana. I remember the bullying. If I remember correctly, I actually felt sorry for the pair and didn't exactly side with Jessenia. It was a production set up since they know in advance who is into who to get drama...which they then encourage even more. If a guy is into someone else, he is not into you. Gracefully move on and stop making an ass of yourself. As for Jessenia, this is not her first rodeo...in fact, her third. She knows how this works and clearly played along. That was cold from her. It was an attack on Andrew, who clearly was struggling. Just because she did it quietly, in a soft voice, doesn't mean it wasn't still nasty. Ugly from her. Very ugly, because it was so controlled and calculated. If that had been the other way around, I can only imagine how he would have been attacked.

I’m sorry to hear she attacked him. I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet, but that doesn’t sound good.
And, yes, last year Jessenia majorly played the victim when Chris rejected he (which I thought was so hypocritical since she dumped Ivan when Chris came on the beach, and she expected him to take it gracefully). Her pouting was a major factor in all of her buddies ganging up on Chris and Alana.

They really spent way too much time on Jessenia berating Andrew. Why doesn't she get it that he just doesn't want her? Why isn't important. He just doesn't want her. He's allowed to feel like that. Saying "I'm sorry if it hurts you, but I'm just not interested in you, and don't want to string you along." shouldn't be all that hard.
That whole bit really made me dislike Jessenia. She came across as a desperate chaser & immature. Andrew is just too nice a guy to be blunt with her, but that's what she needed.
Last night's show was boring. Just plain boring. I'm counting the days 'till this dumpster fire is over. I probably won't bother wasting my time next year. This season is an all time low. Terrible cast - boring, immature & unlikable. Terrible producer interference. Terrible twist. No fun at all.
Michael & ol' what's her name, are the only saving part of the show & we see next to nothing of them. I guess they just aren't obnoxious enough to get airtime.

Weren't Chris and Alana actually in a relationship before BIP? I'd say Jessenia had every right to be upset. Just like with Brenden and Pieper and Natasha, Chris used to stay around until Alana showed up on the beach, after which he dumped Jessenia.
IMO, Ency is the one who came off as desperate and immature, not Jessenia. Giving a guy you literally just met an ultimatum and then sobbing like a baby is not only ridiculously immature, it's pretty pathetic too.
Just like with the Bach seasons, they clearly give these folks TONS of alcohol. That, and the fact that they have nothing to do but sit around and talk about/think about each other is bound to create heightened emotions.
It was nice to see Becca and Thomas last night. I like them together.
