Amy is a HOARDER........Does anyone remember the episode where Matt asked one of the farm hands to go to the basement and organize it? AMY HAD A FIT. A MONUMENTAL FIT. Yes, Matt was wrong not to ask her first. BUT LORD, Amy had 1000 plastic totes filled to the brim with crap .... stuff she will never ever use again. I bet that basement is a MESS still. I remember once when he proposed having a professional organizer in to put things in some semblance of order. She went ballistic at the idea. We had an episode of LPBW on the other night (the one where she is repeating over and over how difficult it is for her to work with Caryn). Mr. AZC said, "I wish Amy would go back on Chopped . . . just because I'd like to 'chop' her off of television for good."

You know what AZChristian I think that is the episode I am referring to.....maybe it was a professional organizer. But that whole project went to crap. Amy complained sooooooo badly about it that she ultimately said "SHE WOULD DO IT HERSELF" .... and I think she opened ONE tote and rearranged some items in it and THAT WAS THAT!!!

And why did she need her best girlfriend Lisa to come hold her hand while she sorted through a few towels this last episode? Also, she couldn't go to the "thank you, employees" pizza party without her boyfriend at her side for support? She comes across as very needy and helpless for all her tough bluster.
Finally, dear schoolteacher Tori: it's not "myself"; it's "I" or "me."
To say something positive for a change: How cute is Lucy when she rests her head on the bar of that mule while Matt stops to talk to Amy?

The producers have a friend come over so that Amy has someone to voice her feelings to. It would seem strange if she was just sitting there talking to herself. It's producer driven. Like so many things on this show and SO many "reality" shows are. I think it's nice to have boyfriends and friends to enjoy life events with

Another thing: I notice that, in the intro, where they say "I'm Matt Roloff, I'm Amy Roloff, and 26 years ago we bought a family farm; we raised our four beautiful children on it," etc., they don't point out that they're now divorced and essentially fighting over it... Isn't that part of the show's history now? It would be really funny if they weren't really divorced at all, and Chris and Caryn were just playing the part and/or if they planned all along to eventually get back together after stirring up all this drama to increase ratings. Not likely, but it would be funny! I don't think that would be funny. I know this is reality tv, which is only semi-real, but still, this is their REAL LIVES. At best, I guess it might be weirdly interesting, but even that --- not so much.

The fate of the farm is in the air. Do Jeremy and Zach have what it takes to run it?
I think I know part of why Ember cries so much. It's the clothes they put on her...so uncomfortable. I realize you want to dress your baby up to look cute and all, but man...put a nice soft footed onesie on that girl and she would be much happier. What is up with the tights under her onesie and a band around her head all the time?

The indecision with this family, regarding their futures on the farm, drives me crazy. It's one step forward and three steps back! I understand some of it is producer driven to keep our interest but they never talk about specifics. So much is implied but never buttoned up.
It's obvious the boys want their parents to live on the farm until they die so that the transfer of ownership is easy and won't cost them a cent. They just can't/won't say it out loud. (Jeremy and Zachary don't have the money to buy their parents out...not to mention their other two siblings,). Problem with that train of thought is that life situations can come out of nowhere and blow those "plans" to hell.
Caryn wants to support Matt but it seems she would prefer he live nowhere near Amy which I totally understand. That said, Matt's eyes lit up like a Christmas tree when he saw both his sons showed interest in learning how to run the farm. Matt won't leave!
Amy wants to remain in the waaaaay too big house for her...forever.
Jeremy and Audrey are salavating to take up residence in the main house.
Zachary and Tori may not truly have an interest in running and/or living on the farm but they're not about to see Jeremy and Audrey have it.
We will probably never know how Molly and Jacob fit in to all of this.

I'm very, very sorry to hear that Jeremy and Audrey are leaving the show. Even though I don't agree with most of their personal views, I have always enjoyed watching them on the show. And for me, their leaving the show pretty much ends my interest in watching LPBW (except to follow along on Fort). I don't think there's enough of interest any more. How many times can we listen to Amy complain about Matt (and Karen)? Her voice-overs already set my teeth on edge! And how many times can we listen to Zach muse about what to do about the farm? --- And yet NOT DO anything about it! And for all the things that might not be perfect about Matt, I will probably miss him the most! He's very endearing, and he certainly is a go-getter. I'm pretty sure the adventureland of "Roloff Farms" would never have existed without all of his doing, and it seems as if he will have a happy future (hopefully with Karen), getting involved in doing more projects, of one sort or another. I'll be wishing all of the Roloffs well, but it will be from afar.

I would imagine that at this point in his life, Jeremy had to look at what is most important. I know the money is probably really good but I can't imagine having every one of my mistakes in life documented for all eternity. To have people you don't know commenting on your life and how you live it. And the track record of married couples on reality TV, including his own parents, isn't that great. I've never really liked Jeremy, I think he's smug and too self-assured for what little he's done in life. But I applaud this decision, as it seems he's putting his family's well being over money and fame. Good for him. Now, I'll probably be eating my words when he and Audrey pop-up on a new TLC show, but for now, I'll give him credit for doing the right thing for his family.

Big deal. He is so out of touch with REAL reality that he doesn't understand that the universe doesn't revolve around him and his wife and child. Life will go on for all of us without being constantly bombarded with professional "candid" photos of them flubbing their way through life.
And as soon as the TLC paychecks stop coming in, what will they do for money? I can't believe that her "Always More" campaign, shilling essential oils, and "how to be married" books (written in 3 weeks, with not a bit of professional counseling education between them) are going to help them continue their lifestyle of continuous vacations and dreamy walks in wooded glens.
Nope. If the show continues, they'll be back. After the Lord tells them that He is again changing the direction of their lives.

I wondered if it was coming back on the air soon because TLC has been playing past episodes lately. That's often the lead-in for a new season coming up.

Amy had to have the big house, and now she wants Matt's house instead? She remains a total beyotch.

I have been watching provenceguy! π€― π© π€ͺ YUP Amy is still HORRIBLE to Matt. She is such a beyotch. And yet when Chris gets all pissy about anything he spends a FULL day pouting and Amy sweetly has to deal with his childish baby nonsense. Until he decides to act like an adult again. π‘π‘π‘ I am so glad Matt has Karen in his life! She is sooooooo nice. π₯°π₯°π₯° Tori and Zach appear to be over their head with that new house they bought. They really should have sold their home FIRST esp because itβs not overly marketable. The back yard is a steep HILL. Not much you can do to change that hence families look elsewhere. No Jer or Audrey so far this season. JACKSON is a DOLL!!!! β€οΈ

I've read that Jer and Audrey have opted out this season (which basically means that 3 of the 4 kids have chosen not to be on the show).

The only way Zach's home would be attractive to buyers is if there was a very large deck on stilts installed in the back of the property. This is quite common in hillside homes and adds quite a bit of square footage to the property. It's lovely for entertaining, relaxing and dining, even a play area for kids. It seems the home was a poor choice for Zach and Tori in the first place. I agree they should have put their current home up on sale before even thinking about putting money into a second home.
The front of the house has lovely curb appeal, but the messiness of the house and garage doesn't help the sale at all.

I just perused the last page of this thread out of curiosity since I haven't watched this show in years. I quit watching because Amy was so hateful, the house was always a disaster, & the kids were lazy. Looks like things haven't changed (aside from the twins getting married & Matt & Amy divorcing).
I haven't missed anything.

I didn't listen to it, but I read that Jer and Audrey were Kaitlyn Bristowe's (from the Bach and Bachelorette) podcast guests this week.

I normally don't spend much time feeling sorry for anyone on these TLC shows; BUTTTTTTT I'm really getting sick of listening to Amy take first one turn and then another when discussing the farm with Matt. First she wanted the big house cause it was her home, memories blah blah blah. Now she wants the DW because its smaller, easier blah blah blah. Matt said great, he'd just sell the big house. Then Amy didn't like that....she has to think about it...she doesn't know...blah blah blah. Seriously woman, what the hell is wrong with you?????! IMHO Matt and Caryn should do whatever suits them. Matt can make a decision for himself and tell his attorney who can call Amy's attorney and THEY can sort it out. It'll cost money...but let Amy's attorney deal with her. That takes Matt out of the fight and will end Amy's manipulation once she sees the lawyer's tab. π Geez that woman could wear the hair off a hog's back. π½π

Looks like Amy gets her knickers in a knot next week when she and Matt and Karen are all at the housewarming for Tori and Zach. If she's happy in her new relationship, why does she get so worked up about Matt and Karen?

Looks like Amy gets her knickers in a knot next week when she and Matt and Karen are all at the housewarming for Tori and Zach. If she's happy in her new relationship, why does she get so worked up about Matt and Karen? Because relationships are very EMOTIONAL and emotions are not logical. Divorce hurts, even if you're the one who initiated it. And even if you don't want your former spouse any more, it's very painful to see that person moving on and enjoying life with someone else. That's just the typical human reaction, and we're all just human.
