I thought that might get the conversation going again, but guess not... Back to the present, does Jackson -- cute as he is -- have a speech delay? Ember is talking up on a storm, and isn't she actually younger? Tori just said recently that he has no health problems, but... Combine that with buying the house with a million stairs (already Zach's back and her second C-section have made that a ridiculous choice, and surely Jackson will need surgery to straighten his very bowed legs) AND her shock and disappointment upon learning that the new baby wouldn't be her "mini-me," and that girl seems to live in her own little world... I am not caught up but I will be soon. Hmmm......as a matter of fact, you are right, I cannot understand Jackson. How old is he? I will say, my #2 son was very difficult to understand by 2yo. At 3.5yo we had him evaluated (through our school system) and he started speech lessons. Well that was a MIRACLE. By the time he went to K at 5.5yo his speech was amazing. He "graduated" from speech lessons at the end of K. So almost 3 years of one on one with a Speech Therapist AND the beauty of it all it was paid for by the state. Woot Woot. As far as Amy is concerned, having watched LPBW since S1, she has changed ALLOT. There were a few seasons where she was not ANGRY Amy. I remember one Season came back on and Amy all but HATED Matt. She was so MEAN to him. While the kids could do NO WRONG. But anything Matt said or did Amy just beotch at Matt. It was ANNOYING. And I have not cared for anything about her since then. I actually FF through all her scenes. #gagme

It's not that you can't understand him; he doesn't speak. All I've heard him do is name a few people (one word) and repeat words when prompted (again, one word), whereas Ember is stringing sentences into paragraphs to make up imaginative narration, as seen on Instagram. He has receptive language skills (understands what's said to him), but lacks in expressive. I hope they get him into speech therapy now that he's three years old, if that's even possible during a shutdown. And he may catch up on his own given time. But for Tori to ignore it? That girl lives in la-la-land!
I rewatched the Z&T wedding episode today (again, it's during a shutdown; what else do I have to do?). Interesting that Amy made a point of saying, "I wanted to serve the wedding reception dinner because I love to cook for people. AND TO PROVE THAT I COULD DO IT." Again when serving her guests, she told them she hoped they enjoyed her food. "AND I HAD TO REDEEM MYSELF FOR THAT CAKE." It's all about Amy! I've always heard Matt called a self-centered narcissist, but...
She was horrid to Matt all through their marriage AND after she learned he was dating someone. It's only during this period that she's playing nice. It's been quite interesting to watch! I do love this show; really fascinating family dynamics (I agree with another poster that it needs Jer/Auj).

I opined on another reality board I frequent that there will be enough falls down the steps to force them to put a "For Sale" sign out front. Steps are treacherous enough without the additional challenge of really short legs. And I suspect that Tori will tire of being the only family member who can safely carry laundry, groceries, etc., up and down steps safely.

Oh, and the giant rambunctious puppy; another brilliant idea of Tori's! Honestly, I feel sorry for that dog; he's treated as a problem and nuisance and seems to be either ignored or yelled at constantly. Wish HE could go live on the farm! I also feel sorry for Oscar being ripped away from his best friend, Lucy.
