I follow a few of the cast members on Twitter. Patricia tweeted "And people wonder if we are still their allies......we blocked #AshleyJacobs and #ThomasRavenel from all social media and from our lives." Interesting. Wonder what the back story on this is, I can only imagine.

Wow on Patricia’s tweet. WOW. I sure hope Patricia has finally seenthe light on Thomas and Kathryn’s relationship. I truly believe he manipulated and drove Kathryn crazy. She was so young and made horrible choices. More mature, sober Kathryn knows better. I’m loving her!
And, Shep. Loved him this episode!! So spot on.

TRav's ex Luzette accusing him of harassing herI'll be glad to fill you guys in  Right when Trav started dating Ashley he had met someone that Patricia set him up with,Luzette Otte. He didn't think Ashley was "going to cut it" After a few weeks of dating, he asked her (Luzanne) to move to Charleston and also asked if she would appear on Southern Charm. She said no to both an on that night some drama started- Thomas started throwing a fit saying she was sleeping with a neighbor and he really scared her. He tried to apologize but she cut things off. He got back with AShley and they began to smear her online, saying she was a stalker. She has sent them a Cease and Desist and told the cops about some incidents. Luzette used to be Pat's social media manager or something, so that is the biggest reason Pat has blocked him and Ashley. She said she felt compelled to come out with her story after Nanny Dawn and the other lady came forward with complaints against Thomas. Also, I saw on reddit Kathryn may now try to go for full custody of the kids. I hope she does and I hope she gets good child support.

I think Craig and Naomi are fundamentally ill-suited - she wants/needs a go-getter, a man with ambition and plans ... She's a "Type A" girl who wants a "Type A" guy. And that is simply NOT who Craig is. At. All. Neither personality type makes them bad people - but they are absolutely AWFUL together, IMO. Neither should expect the other (or themselves, for that matter) to change such basic personality traits - instead, they should both look to find partners who are more in sync with who they truly are. They apparently had lots of fun together in the phase of extended puppy love - but neither of them is a pup anymore, and when it comes to getting serious about making long-term partner commitments, and achieving life goals, it seems to me that these two just don't mesh well. In the case of Craig and Naomi (from what I've seen), if they try to move toward an ambitious goal together, he will always lag, and she will always nag - and both will just act worse and worse, knowing how much it bugs the other. Life partners need to share a common goal and a common sense of how to get to where they want to go, or else they will always be pulling against each other instead of pulling together. It is already frustrating both of them and making them both bitter. Better to split now, and try to hold onto some good feelings about each other. YMMV I think you hit the nail perfectly on why they don't work. They are both having trouble with the fact that they do love each other but need something so different. They are finding out that love is not enough and it's hard when you are young to really believe that. PS I don't think she is anti sewing lol. It just encapsulated her frustration with Craig. |

I'm really impressed by Kathryn's ability to keep her cool and to remain calm and silent (for the most part) while Ashley was insulting her and baiting her to fight back. Good for Kathryn. I wonder whether Kathryn is finally maturing or whether the REAL culprit was the alcohol (and/or drugs) that formerly turned her into a raging lunatic! But the good news, is she is almost like a new person now that she's sober. I hope so much, that she can stay sober. especially for her kids' sakes, cause those kids are really going to need at least one reasonable, reliable parent!
And I do have to comment about Thomas and the kids, because up until the scandal about him arose, and up until he started having Ashley around so much, he SEEMED to be a surprisingly devoted and responsible (and loving) parent. I wonder what it's like with the kids now. I hope for their sakes, that their life with him hasn't changed.

Ashley is just a horrible person imho. She won't be really happy, until Thomas puts a ring on it. I wish they could of cantered on those horses, and left moaning Minnie behind!
Katherine is a strong woman, when they flashback 4 years, she was just a child..
I see the preview next week, Shep says I hate that woman, well, join the club Shep!

Listening to Craig describe himself as an accomplished liar "... it just comes naturally to me" (or words to that general effect) affirms every unpleasant feeling which I have ever had about him. Thomas is disgusting and cruel. Ashley is no prize and has not been on her best behavior, but nobody deserves to be as demeaned, controlled, and belittled as she was in that conversation on the couch with Thomas. Although, can you call it a conversation if one party is condescending and slurring that badly? Either way, he's disgusting.
I think Kathleen still has her demons and battles, we all do, but we grow up and learn how to handle them and how to handle others. I'm shocked at how young she truly was in the beginning and think so much of it was growing up. I really like her now and hope she continues. Speaking of growing up, Shep is a four year old boy. Her face when he gulped the too hot soup and acted like Saint MAYBE would have said it all!

Today is the court date for Dennis' custody hearing. I hope that at the very least she is awarded joint custody, so that she will have them 50% of the time. It seems that after the numerous drug tests she's passed, the times she and Thomas have been civil in public at their children's events, the very least a judge could do is award joint custody. Even if drug tests are still required by the judge, she deserves more time with them.
Last night's episode was really eye opening. It definitely seems that when the season was being filmed (last fall and winter), Thomas really wasn't that on board with a serious relationship with Trashley. He told her time apart would be good for them, encouraged her to go, and then when she threatened not to come back he did not beg her to stay. Is she that dense? The writing was on the wall.
And finally Cameran's baby girl was finally born! Cam's interviews were hilarious, "at least she was born cute". Hopefully we will see more of Elvis on the show now that the baby made her appearance!

Some people (like Craig and our dear President) actually see traits like being an accomplished liar and braggart as being positive attributes. I don't think they even see it as choosing 'right' from 'wrong' --- apparently their credo is that doing whatever it takes to win the issue is the right thing for them to do. And they apparently just don't see anything wrong about it. |

I read that Kathryn got 50/50 custody but is now fighting for full custody with child support but Trav won't agree to child support. Don't know if it is true, just gossip.
I've always loved Kathryn and she really has come into her own.

Ashley is a nasty piece of work, she couldn't even recall what she had said to Katherine. She really thinks she's the boss of that relationship, dream on girl!
I like Austin and Chelsea as a couple, they suit one another.
I almost wish Shep would act his age and be with Katherine...

Bravo is showing season 1 of SC right now. Kathryn looks so young! And Jenna...I liked her. Not sure she fit in with that crowd but I enjoyed what she brought to the show.

TRav probably hired Ashley for a girlfriend role. Reading the nanny charges against him, its pretty disgusting. Kathryn should stay way away.
