Reality Steve has revealed the top 3, and arguably they are the three youngest looking ones. None look over, or even close to, 50. (I know all were at least 60, just saying....)

He revealed the top two on his IG on August 30th: Leslie Fhima (64)and Theresa Nist (69), who could be sisters they look so much alike. I don’t know if this means he has a type - F3, Faith Martin (60) looks kind of like the other two - or it’s a coincidence. None of them look like his late wife.
As far as I can tell, RS doesn’t have F1 yet.

I thought his F2 could pass for sisters.

He definitely has a type. it is definitely not a clone of his wife.

I watched a little last night. Sorry all the kissing puts me off. I know it is the nature of the show. I would say his strongest connection in the little amount of time I watched is Theresa.

While a lot of people are saying they don't think Theresa and Leslie don't look alike, I think they look enough alike that it may be affecting Reality Steve's ability to verify who Gerry ended up with. I mean, think about it. If he had a blonde and a brunette in the end, someone seeing the rose ceremony from the balcony of their hotel room or down the beach, whatever, would be able to report what the lady he proposed to looks like. Not so easy when they're pretty similar, especially from a distance. Plus, it would likely be a person who didn't actually know the women who reported the info. Not saying that's what's happening, but it would make sense. If the F2 were Sandra and Ellen, maybe RS would have the F1 spoiler already

From a real distance I can see where the two ladies, Theresa and Leslie might look some alike..but I dont think they look alike in general.

The only difference is Theresa is short and Leslie is taller. Up close no resemblance.

Reality Steve announced today that Gerry chose Theresa, and they are engaged. Really? How reliable is he? Usually very. Dammit I guess I hope they’re happy. I have zero faith that relationship is going to last. Poor Leslie He’s going to get SO much criticism - and it’s well-deserved- for the things he said to the F2.

Maybe he wasn't salivating all over her like he did with Leslie but he seemed at ease. I guess we will see.

I agree that he’s likely to get a lot of criticism for having said too much to Leslie. I think it’s possible he was leaning in her direction and something happened during his final time with Theresa that shifted the balance, but that’s why it’s better to play things a bit closer to the vest until the end.
It makes me sad that it’s going to end on a sour note because of that. It’s been such a sweet experience up until the heartbreaks within the final three.

I wonder if some of Leslie's "sex talk" while fun and flirtatious bothered him? Maybe he was looking for someone who was fun but also has a good head on her shoulders and has a more serious side? Maybe his kids really preferred Theresa? Who knows, this spoiler could also be wrong!

You know I never for one minute thought he was pristine and snow white. He wasn't widowed for that long without relationships. Also TPTB never want us to think these people have a backstory. I'll take that article with a grain of salt. The one thing that disappointed me about him was telling 2 women he loved them. He's od enough to know better and should have had more restraint.

I don't know, just to play Devil's advocate, I'd say that maybe he loved being married so much (and had been married for so long) that he really wanted to be in another relationship again. Same thing happened with the husband of a friend of my mom's. She passed and he was remarried in less than a year. Some people, including two of his kids, had issues with it, but my mom just thought it probably meant that he really loved being married to his late wife and wanted a relationship like that again. Just giving another perspective. He and the second wife were married for years, until he eventually passed.
I do agree that Gerry isn't Mr. Perfect. No one is. People can be good and bad. It doesn't mean he's a terrible person; it means he's human.

It doesn't mean he's a terrible person; it means he's human. They are raking him over the coals on another board, even implying that maybe he killed his wife. Honestly, no one is perfect and I think he was presented as such. I have a friend who dated a man who's wife had died less than a year before. They want that relationship back and they often rush into it. In her case, it didn't work as it possibly didn't for Gerry. And who knows one's mindset after the death of a spouse. Also talk that he sees $$ with Theresa. Perhaps? I think you have to take that into consideration when you are older. I remember a coworker of mine's father passed away relatively young. Her mother said if she were to remarry she would make sure the man had money. One hospital stay or a major illness can be costly.

Snipped from the article posted above... Okay, who keeps text messages from an ex over 6 years later?? It sounds like Miss Carolyn was the rebound relationship and she's still salty about it. No, I don't believe Gerry is a perfect angel - nobody is - but that article does its best to make him look bad.

In my opinion, we're witnessing a TPTB drama dump to excite interest in the finale. That said, I've enjoyed watching the Golden Bachelor and hope to see another.
Poor Carolyn, or whatever the name: Sadly, you were misled by production and a gossip reporter eager to sell you out. Take the high road and stop talking about what is effectively nothing.

And one has to wonder how much this woman exaggerated out of anger and how much is true. Also, just what did the gossip reporter embellish. People, men and women, have a tendency to either remember things differently or add to things when dealing with someone who spurned them, even when it ended fairly friendly. And yes, TPTB probably have their fingers in it. I can see Gerry saying some things about his past and them saying "no, this is the role you need to play". And shock of shocks, he is not some perfect dream angel but flawed. I'm going to watch it.

From reading that article, I was surprised about the career(s) he's had, and how TPTB say he was a restauranteur when he hasn't owned the burger stand since '85? Why couldn't they have just told the truth in what he does? There's no shame in it!
Also, the "fat" comment disappointed me, but maybe he didn't truly say that or mean it the way she took it.

Okay, now let's do Joey. I'm joking of course, but we've all done or said things that are wrong. Gerry has been around longer than Joey, but I bet right now, someone has dirt on him.
We have a past, ALL of us, and some of mine isn't great, just like Gerry. I feel he's getting raked over the coals because he's older. I wish him well, both of them, but I'm not shedding tears if it doesn't work out. I only know him as a character on reality tv.
