3:15 PM BBT – Feeds cut for the nomination ceremony.
4:34 PM BBT – Feeds return. Jared nominated Cameron and Red. Jared tells Cirie and Felicia that Cameron was throwing America under the bus and that he also mentioned Izzy again. Jared says she’s not telling Izzy that. Cirie says she’s not telling her either because she doesn’t want to babysit Izzy tonight.
4:35 PM BBT – Red says he’s going to go out and play the veto and win it. Izzy and Mecole tell him that’s what he’s got to do. They tell him he did it last time and he can do it again.
4:38 PM BBT – Cory asks Cameron if Jared gave him any idea this was happening. Cameron says he knew about Red, but didn’t know he was going to be nominated with him. Cameron asked him not to do that. Cameron thinks he’s the pawn and Cory is assuring him that’s the deal.
4:40 PM BBT – Cory tells Cameron that the way Red speaks about America bothers people. He says it bothers him and says Red is one of those people who make personal jabs at people.
4:45 PM BBT – Cory tells Izzy about his talk with Cameron. He tells her he told Cameron he would be good sitting next to Red. Cory tells her that he told Cameron he could pick him for houseguest choice. They laugh.
4:52 PM BBT – Jared tells Bowie Jane that Cameron has no loyalty and told him he would go against Red. Jared says Cameron is not someone anyone should want to work with because of his lack of loyalty and trust.
4:53 PM BBT – Bowie says Cameron is a snake. She tells Jared he lied to her about knowing Red was going up on the block.
4:56 PM BBT – Cirie tells Red he has to trust her and that he has nothing to worry about. She tells him that everyone loves him.
5:01 PM BBT – Jared goes to talk to Cameron. Jared says he understands if Cameron is upset, but he really does hope that Cameron trusts him and understands his decision. Jared says he knows he’s going to feel bitter, but he still considers him one of this best friends in the house.
5:03 PM BBT – Jared says Red was the one who was saying his name, and they were never able to make any kind of bond, but Cameron had to go up because he’s Red’s closest ally.
5:04 PM BBT – Cameron tells Jared he trusts him. He says he didn’t realize he was going to be on the block, but it’s part of the gig. Jared says he wanted to tell Cameron he was going up, but ran out of time before the ceremony.
5:08 PM BBT – Jared tells Cameron that if he comes down and America goes up, she might go home. He says he’s just not sure there would be the votes to get Red out in that scenario.
5:11 PM BBT – Jared says to Cameron that he is banking on himself winning veto and taking himself down. Cameron says if Red has to go then he only has Jared left and has to run with him. Cameron says if that was the plan Jared could have told him so. Jared says that was never the reason for this.
5:57 PM BBT – Cirie tells Jag however he wants to get to his answers, she’s open. He wants to figure out why everyone changed their minds on voting to keep him last week. He says maybe they should get everyone in a room about it.
5:58 PM BBT – Cirie says to Jag to make sure he’s receiving all the right information. She says she has no problem standing in front of those people and saying that what they’re telling Jag doesn’t match up with what they told her.
6:07 PM BBT – Cirie tells Jared that Red knew he was going to be on the block on his birthday. Jared asks if Red’s birthday is today. She says it’s Tuesday but Red says he’s never had a good birthday. Jared says “cry me a river.”
6:15 PM BBT – Jared says he was thinking of Bowie or America as the replacement nominee, but Jag says America might go home. Cirie says oh, no they aren’t voting out America over Red.
6:18 PM BBT – Cirie says Matt won’t try to win the veto. She says he hasn’t been trying to win comps, and the one he did try (the power comp) he won.
6:19 PM BBT – Cirie tells Jared she’s mad that Matt told Jag she got to play in the competition. She says she’s going to deny it if anyone asks.
7:30 PM BBT – Houseguests are having dinner.
7:50 PM BBT – Jared tells Blue he has Cameron right where he wants him. He says Cameron thinks he has votes from Blue, Cory, America, Izzy and Cirie.
8:10 PM BBT – Houseguests are hanging out outside, chit-chatting. Game talk has stalled.
9:00 PM BBT – Blue and Jared are upstairs flirting in the HOH room.
9:15 PM BBT – Cirie doesn’t like how much time Jag is spending with Red. Mecole and Cirie wonder if Jag is trying to team up with Red to get revenge for last week.
9:35 PM BBT – Cory returns from DR and can sense something is off. He asks Cirie and Meme what’s happened and they explain the Jag and Red ongoing conversation.
10:10 PM BBT – Jag tells Mecole he talked with Red and it was a mix of personal and general discussions.
10:15 PM BBT – Bowie lets Red know that Cameron is throwing him under the bus. Red says he’ll still stick to his word with Cameron.
10:30 PM BBT – Cory and America discussing the Jag + Red conversation that lasted two hours. They like Jag but think he’s a bad player.
10:50 PM BBT – Cameron meeting with Jared and suggests Jared could pretend he’s going to BD America but then renom Izzy instead to make everyone afraid of him (J).
11:30 PM BBT – Bowie is feeling emotional and having talks with Cirie, Felicia, Jag, and Matt about being honest with each other.
11:40 PM BBT – Cirie and her crew in HOH reaffirm the plan is still Cameron but if he comes down then they need to go after Red as the backup.
11:45 PM BBT – HGs are feeling tired and many are heading to bed.
12:30 AM BBT – Jared talking with Matt and says Cameron has been the target for awhile now. He mentions that Cameron wants him to BD Izzy.
1:25 AM BBT – Blue camtalking that it’s been a hard week and the house is tense. Blue notes that she had a rough patch with Jared and thinks he can get worked up which won’t fly with her in the real world.
1:35 AM BBT – Jag talking with Matt and says next week they’ll have the majority rule.
I absolutely love when Izzy gets jealous of Jared - she had been trying to get a word in and all Cirie can do is hug on Jared and stuff because she doesn't get many opportunities. 
It's hard to know exactly why they wanted to use the power until we hear it from them. But my guess is they wanted Jag for numbers sake to keep going up against Red, Cameron and Bowie. I think Matt let Cirie basically guide his thought process on whether or not to use it. In my opinion it was actually better for Matt than it was for Cirie. Especially since Jag now has a renewed outlook on the game and Cirie in particular.
