I haven't seen this show. Is it worth checking out or no? Yes, I think Summer House is a lot of fun. It took me a few episodes to figure out who is who, and to really get into it, but it was worth it!!! Cause now I'm definitely hooked! But I would also say that this is one show in which you really have to start in the very beginning, with Season 1 Episode 1, because the show is totally about relationships -- romantic and friendships. So unless you start at the beginning, you won't have any way of figuring out what is going on.  |

the only one I'll miss is Stephen. Amit and Danielle didn't add much interesting last season, and the Wirkus twins annoy me. |

I have to say I won't miss the twins and Stephen. And Danielle and Amit definitely added nothing. Hopefully they get some other good guests. I think it's a fun show. Not one I watch for constant drama since it's only a few episodes.

I've been watching season two now. They haven't mentioned yet why Lindsay and Everett broke up, which is kind of odd. They sure talk about that ROSÉ wine a lot on this show, is it a sponsor of the show or something? lol

They didn't give exact full details on the break up. But it sounded like Everett wouldn't commit all the way with Lindsay. She wants him to prove to her he truly wants this relationship.

Kyle is my favorite one on the show. I know he was involved with Amanda in season 2, but now that it's more serious I wonder if that might affect the dynamic of the show some. Cause I don't want to see him 'grow up' too much in terms of being entertaining. lol

The cast looks pretty lame this season. And why would anyone want to date Carl??

From the first episode, it definitely looks like the design of the season is to have multiple hookups within the house. I liked the first episode more than I expected to with the cast changes. I do miss Stephen.

I am little confused as to why the girls hate Amanda so much. I remember they went at her at the reunion but it seems to have got worse.
I think Danielle has been hanging out with Lindsay too long. She is rubbing off on her.

She is rubbing off on her. I think they are so rough on Amanda because she's very different from the rest of them, and they don't respect her. They know how Kyle is - they know him well. They see how poorly he treats her. Most ofthe rest of them are women who'd rather be alone than being treated poorly by a long term boyfriend. Kyle often talks down to Amanda, doens't treat her as an equal, and now apparently cheats on her. I think they have a hard time accepting someone who allows herself to be treated like that. Beyond that, I don't think we see a lot in terms of how Amanda tries to connect with them. She and Kyle seem to think that here being in his orbit should make the rest of them like her. Sometimes that's not enough to form a bond. |

Not sure what the fascination the girls have with Jordan. He creeps me out more than anything.
The fillers/botox have aged Lindsay dramatically.
Of course it was Everett that waited a year to tell Lindsay out of all people that Kyle cheated on Amanda.
They need to cast better males. Carl and Jordan just aren't cutting it.

She deserves better. I've seen too many friends marry their party-hard boyfriends, thinking that the partiers will change.
Years later, these husbands are alcoholics, and the wives and children suffer the consequences.
