Agreed! They have so little time between charters that there's no time to train Kasey then, and she obviously can't do it while ON charter because she's having to do both her job and Kasey's.

I don't blame Kasey for asking someone to help her on her resume-I have a friend who is a recruiter and every time I've ever applied for a new job, I shamelessly ask him to look over my resume. But he's never fully rewritten it, just given suggestions on how to improve it, and I would never just send it to a possible job without looking over it first. She's crazy. And her "friend" is crazy for putting all that stuff on there when Kasey clearly had no idea how to do those things.

Yes, it's an entry level job-but at the very least, try to learn some of the things you will have to do! It blows my mind that a girl that age has never done laundry, but wouldn't you ask your mom to teach you how if you knew you'd be spending a significant amount of time doing laundry. Look up and practice how to make some of the most common cocktails, get a bartending book that you can sneak a look if they ask for something you don't know. Same with coffees. There's no excuse with no preparing as much as possible before the job starts. And if you're going to fake it till you make it, at least have some basic knowledge and some hustle.

Edit to add: Remember Kate saying she starting doing charters to find a husband? I think Kasey had the same thought, except she doesn't have Kate's work ethic.

I couldn't believe it when Sandy said that Hannah should have had Kasey more trained by now. When did she have time to do that? When Kasey was throwing up? When Hannah was running all over the yacht trying to please the worst guests I've seen? And Adam thinks Kasey has the willingness to learn? Ha! She gives Hannah lip every time Hannah points out something that she has done wrong. "I did it good enough." She said tonight. And then she starts kissing up to Sandy I can't stand that girl.

I was SO happy for Adam that he could make whatever he wanted this charter. His eyes lit up when the guests told him he could make whatever he wanted for dinner.

And when Kasey messes up Sandy blames Hannah. But when Kasey does well...she gives Kasey kudos. Nice way to be consistent. I miss Captain Sandy from last season.

I agree. But I liked her last season. I liked the way she lead. I guess she thought herself as weak. But now she is over compensating. Also, you can't know everything that is going on in the boat. Instead of making these snap judgments, I would think she would actually talk and listen to others. I thought it was horrible that she made the Bosun take out the trash while his underling steered the boat.

What the what ......... last night was the Kasey and Joao show ........ being saluted by the Capt for being so wonderful ......... realllllly.


A liar (Kasey) and a pompous arse (Joao) ....... getting praise from the ship's Capt?????????

Sticking totally with my D- of this season.

And Hannah should have trained her better ......    Maybe Kasey should not of LIED on her CV. And we have the Capt showing her how to make coffee.  So the Capt is training Kasey now.  

Next week's previews looked horrid with Sandy SWEARING at Hannah!  OMG. 

I think that Sandy is hyper aware of potential comments made at a reunion, and is trying to please everyone to avoid criticism there. But in doing so, she's ticking off the people who matter - her crew managers and the viewers. I think that in her mind she'll be the voice of the viewer - but she's not really because we see a lot more than she knows.

I don't think that Joao is a catch. He would scare me. I wonder how Kate from Below Deck Caribbean would deal with Kasey.

it seems that Sandy has a personal ax to grind with Hannah this season. I think that at the reunion last year she said that she would have fired Hannah last year for getting overly involved with a guest. She had felt played. She seems to be taking it out on Hannah this season, but is repeating the same mistake with Joao and Kasey. They kiss up to her but are insubordinate with their immediate superiors. She doesn’t have the back of the senior crew.

Seriously. Sandy told Kasey how good she was going three times! Maybe even more! And what is Adam's fascination with her? He said it a couple of times too?

I would love to see Colin more! He seems sweet and kind of goofy and I think his crush on Brooke is cute. They would make a sweet couple. Instead Joao has TWO girls after him ...he so doesn't deserve their attention.

If Cap'n Sandy was disappointed at the end of last season (finding out that she failed to have a fully accurate picture of what was going on below deck)...
then this season should make her realize that she seriously needs to step up her own game when it comes to keeping tabs on whats really happening with regards to crew dynamics on her "ship".

Who knew that Capt Lee could be so charming? And what a great smile he has! (I have never liked him, and I didn't even think he ever did smile.   But I think I'll appreciate him a little more now that we've seen the insights revealed in this article!)

The food thing made me cringe, and made me wonder what is going on with her that she's so reactionary. Last season, she seemed so in touch with looking after the crew and making sure their jobs were not made any more difficult by things she could control. I wonder if the editing made it seem like the food refusal and then request for the food was much closer together than it actually was - it may have been because it seemed like Hannah had put it all away. But even at that, she was snapping at both of them because she was starving. Of course she was starving! Hannah tried to feed her and she turned her away - she did it to herself!
