I think some people were confused by headlines. At least one that I saw said something like, "Bachelor Star Melissa Rycroft Falls Ill Amid 10 Deaths in Dominican Republic." I think people took that to mean that she was one of the ten. Bad headline writer, combined with people who didn't bother to actually read the article.

Just my opinion, but I always felt she would have made a much better Bachelorette than Kaitlyn. Maybe, but I don't think it would have been good for her at all. She wrote a long post a few years back about her history with a serious eating disorder and said she was purging the whole time she was on Chris's season and was in a really bad place psychologically. I'm guessing that being the lead would have been disastrous for her. I'm a big fan of hers, and I'm happy she's found happiness and better health in this stable relationship she's in now. |

In other Bachelor news, Hannah B for sure will NOT be returning as the Bachelorette!
It was announced today that Hannah will be appearing on a bunch of the DWTS tour shows in California toward the end of March. Those shows are during the time that The Bachelorette is filming (it starts around the middle of the month of March, and her last tour date is March 29th).
Entertainment Tonight just did a story confirming that Hannah won't be doing The Bachelorette, so who do you think/hope it will be?

Her voice might annoy me for a whole season, though.
They might have to go back to a different season this time. I can't see Kelsey or Victoria being the choice, and both Madison and Hannah Ann are tooooooooo young. That's just my opinion, the producers might see that as no problem at all.

I saw an interview with Peter where he was saying he thought Kelley would make a good bachelorette. I've seen more and more people lately saying that they think Madison is mature enough to carry it off if she isn't with Peter.
I get that a lot of people see 23 (or 24) as too young to get married, and I don't disagree, but in many parts of the country, it's common for young women to marry by that age. (Was it Madison that said that all of her friends were married and had babies?)

Colton Underwood posted yesterday that he has tested positive for coronavirus. On the 12th there were photos of him with Arie & Lauren and, of course, Cassie, amongst other members from the Bachelor/ette franchise at a screening of I Still Believe in LA.

I feel for Colton, and hope he recovers well. His message was to take this seriously; that the virus doesn't care how young or healthy you are. The very best thing to follow now is the Quarantine Crew, which is Tyler C, Hannah, and a few others, who seem to be holed up together, making funny videos on TikTok while they're at it. They're also doing workout videos, but of course that is something I somehow miss every time.  Check out TikTok, their Twitter or Instagram, because it's so fun to see them. The last one I watched had Tyler trying to get Hannah to pronounce his name correctly (without her accent), in a clearly tongue-in-cheek way. It was cute. I'd love it if those two got together again, but even if she's just there to support him after his mom died, and then stuck around for the quarantine, that's okay too. They seem like good friends, maybe more. And she's been there for awhile now, so that's encouraging!!  Another cute video I saw was Alex (remember the Russian accent and loud pants?) interviewing cute Peter Kraus in a hotel room. Alex started off introducing him to us as Pilot Pete. Peter says in a flat voice, "No." It was pretty amusing, and it doesn't hurt that I think Peter is completely hot!! |

Michelle Money's 15 year old daughter was critically injured in a skateboarding accident and is currently on life support and in a medically induced coma. Earlier today, she had surgery to help reduce cranial pressure and Michelle updated her IG to say that the surgery went well.
