FannyMare I think Slovenia was one of the most naturally beautiful places they have ever travelled. Watching this episode has really reinforced my desire to go there. The teams also seemed to love it. I don't remember them ever gushing so much about the beauty of any place they have travelled. That glider challenge was also one of the coolest things they have ever done on the show and every team seemed to get such a kick out of it. Those that had to sit it out, really appeared disappointed. Next time I am in Croatia visiting family, I will pop over the border for a visit. Yes, you must. You're right the teams mentioned how beautiful it was, many times. |

I just want to slap little Miss Texas every time she is so rude and disrespectful to her dad, especially with him having to put the beehive together without her help. Can't believe they are still on the race. Bad navigation and bad communication is great equalizer. But the constant whining has got to stop.

So happy Rob and Cory got the Express Pass. Love that team more and more every week! And so happy they got top 3 too!
I also like Greg and John and happy for them getting first. Especially since they didn't get the express pass!
Todd and Ashlie are my favorite of the 3 teams I don't like, oh wait, one went home, my favorite of the 2 teams I don't like. lol! I know, I know, What about Robbin and Cheslea? - I wouldn't say I like them but I don't have room yet to dislike them. And the whole backstory tugs at my heartstrings so they are in the middle. Im ok with my opinion being unpopular.
I also love the mustaches guys but fear for their longevity in the game.
FINALLY, another unpopular opinion coming up. . . while, of course, I wanted AL and her dad to go home, Im fine with how it ended. I got to enjoy the thought of them going home all episode and my other least favorite team went instead. At least AL and her dad are competitors so more exciting to watch them than the blue team who did nothing well since eating the bugs and have been disappointing me ever since AND are unkind to each other. Now if AL and her dad make top 3, I promise to come back and eat my words.

I would not be sad at all to see them eliminated. They're my second most disliked team after Anna Leigh. Her dad I'm ok with, but not her. I can't believe the way she speaks to her father! And sad to say, this didn't just suddenly happen on the race, he's been tolerating her talking to him that way for a long time. But I was super happy to see him finally tell her off last week & a little bit this week. I still cannot believe she told him "get your ass up here!" I would NEVER, EVER speak to either of my parents that way. I cannot even imagine it! |

Anna Leigh and her dad remind me of Veruka Salt and her father. If I ever spoke to my parents like that, I would have been swiftly corrected - and would never cross that line again.
I finally got to go to Slovenia in September, and it really was spectacular. I loved hiking to a little mountain hut in their national park for lunch. They didn't even mention how great the wine is.
In contrast to AL and her dad, I love the father and son team; the joy that the son has seeing his dad have fun is so lovely to see. Heartwarming.

I can't stand Anna Leigh either and I think the way she speaks to her father is terrible BUT, her dad is not innocent in this either. If she's a spoiled ,whiny ,ungrateful princess, It's because she was raised that way. You can bet when AL was little she would cry and whine until her parents gave in .I work as a daycare educator and see it all the time.

The real culprits are the parents who never corrected the bad behavior. I mean, "settle down" isn't the reprimand that is needed. I'm sorry you see it all the time, I see it with my close friend that has children, they are never corrected but will "figure it out". Yeesh. Not the way I was raised. |
