Jake is tugging my heart. Battle is on between Dee and Austin. I think they are making points and losing points without realizing it.

I hate that they aren't even letting Jake talk---if you're gonna ask a question, make it one everyone can answer.
And thank you, Kaleb, for shutting up the other two.

Jake is just getting overshadowed with the other two doing all the talking.

Oh, Dee, pointing out Bruce left with an idol in his pocket was not a good (or kind) move.

Emily is stupidly being swayed by Dee.
Great final tribal? It was so geared toward Dee and Austin, and primarily Dee, that Jake was barely allowed to speak.
IMO, tribal questions should be something all three people should be able to engage with, and in the past, they usually have been.
Jake's entire argument basically rested on being able to overcome all the things that made him an underdog to get there---and because of the questions, he really never had a chance even to voice that.

Yeah, Dee is looking better and better to jury. I’m ok with her winning. She made moves that were best for her game. Austin caved with that whole Julie thing by telling Dee, and was clearly disappointed to find out she betrayed him. Took the wind out of his speech with that reveal. Dee deserves it. (mumble, mumble, mumble) Jury vote is up next!

I think when jury has been discussing and influencing each other for awhile, the jury questioning just becomes a formality.

How come mouthy, attention-seeking Bruce didn't ask a question? Usually everyone gets a chance.

Hope Dee at least sends Katurah a nice thank you note for letting her get that win instead of voting her out. Idiot!

Dee won a close, split vote. Not one vote for Jake.
Congrats to her...not my favorite, but she played a decent game.

Kendra has always driven me a bit crazy but if she were brought on occasionally just to be the crazy Survivor astrologist lady, I could deal with that. I think.

I thought maybe Dee and Austin would cancel one another out, and Jake would slip by. I didn't connect with Dee, and hoped Katurah was in the F3. She would have won.. Katurah should have voted Dee out. Not a Reba fan I guess
Ccongrats Dee.

I really liked Katurah, what a neat person! She made a huge mistake by switching her vote, but she explained that she had doubts about Jake (we don't see everything, she likely had her reasons), so if she thought there were votes against her, adding one to the Julie vote was a way to ensure her safety. In that setting/time/place, it felt like the thing to do, to her. But she basically gave the game to Dee by doing that. I wish she and Jake had a better relationship so that she'd trusted him, and things would've been so much different.
What was with Emily's speech while voting? She tells Dee not to spend one penny on that boy (or something)!? I wonder what that was about.
I felt for Jake, poor guy. He knew he didn't have a chance, but I suppose sitting there being essentially ignored by the jury would be tough. Jake's memory about prior seasons of Survivor is so impressive! Knowing those season numbers and winners during the challenge tonight, remembering Cirie's cake in the auction and what year it was, 2008! wow
Kendra being right behind Dee during the after-party was really annoying. She kept trying to steal the attention, making faces faces faces. And being loud. Dee can hold her own as far as getting attention, but Kendra was a lot back there.
Drew was awesome (and funny), with his literary reference.
Scenes from Season 46, yay! I can't wait for February.

This season was absolutely infuriating to watch. So many dumb moves. The Reba four never should have been allowed to make it as far as they did. I was constantly rooting for the underdogs but they just didn't have the smarts to pull anything off....someone always failed the move. Jake never should have told Austin he had the idol. And Katurah should have believed in him more and voted out Dee. Does anyone know why Katurah didn't trust Jake? What did he do to make her distrust him so much? As I saw it...they were the underdogs going against an alliance of 3 with Dee being the strongest person available to vote. It seemed like such easy logic. Imagine the difference the final 3 would have been if Katurah had followed through Jake didn't stand a chance with the jury. It was the Dee and Austin show Glad Dee won against Austin though...at least there was a female winner.

It was a great season. Not what I hoped for, but still good.
I thought for sure Austin was going to win it all, but then I do think Dee really nailed final TC and happy she ended up winning it.

As always Sia awards some of the "losers" ....a little annoyed at Katurah getting the most as she totally F'd up the end game for Jake and herself of course.

Well it has been a couple of months. After Emily got voted off I quit watching. A 3 hour finale just seemed to be too much.
I just finished watching the first hour of the final. It's been a while so I have to try get my impressions of the final five.
Jake - a goof. Really impressed that he went for accuracy over speed in the race for the advantage at the beginning of the episode. VERY GOOD strategy.
OMG - Does Jake simply not pay attention? He forgot his key had to go back for it. But again he impressed me catching up on the puzzle to almost beat Austin. EXCEPT he again was not paying attention and did not see the missing puzzle piece. I just wanted to yell at him. It was that close.
To be honest I do think it would have been a good idea to get rid of Austin. DUH! If he didn't have the Immunity Necklace. Either him or Dee.
Then Jake spills that he has an immunity idol to Austin. WHY? WHY? WHY? If he didn't Dee+Julie+Asutin would either go after Jake or Kataruh.
In a perfect world Jake wins immunity. Check box. Saves Katarah at the Tribal by giving her the idol. Check box. Blindside either Dee or Austin. Check box.
Then it would have been Dee+Katuarh+Julie+Jake and then it would have been a toss up between the ladies.

Last immunity challenge - who breaks a challenge? Amazing.
Doesn't it come across as if Jeff does not like Jake, he seems to have very little patience with him?
I feel that Jake still is that little overweight kid who was bullied and picked on. He wants so much to succeed that he tries too hard and gets so angry and frustrated and loses his temper. Very little patience.
Makes me afraid he would do something stupid like get into an investment scheme lose and somehow lose his grandmother's house and just be a puddle of regret and tears.
So glad he was successful with the fire, I honestly thought he was going to cut his finger off scrapping the flint for magnesium.
Jake so needed that win for his self confidence, and self worth.

Done - some smart questions from the jury. I wish Jake had at least one vote. But I don't think they gave him any credit for surviving some very bad luck, and not being able to accomplish any of his big swings.
Very glad Dee won. Austin would have been insufferable.

Jake and Austin stuff their faces - Jake shares that he has an idol. Because nobody can keep stuff to themselves. Sigh. Back at camp, Julie and Dee plot to get rid of Jake. Austin rats Jake out as soon as he gets back. Why can't any of these players KEEP THEIR MOUTHS SHUT?

Jake's sitting there looking irritated while Dee and Austin butt heads on this question. I think everyone thinks of Jake as this clumsy goof and he needs to be quiet while the "big boys play".

If Katurah voted with Jake and voted Dee off it would have left: Austin+Julie+Katarah+Jake - a bit of a stalemate.
If Jake had won Immunity at the next challenge it would have been Julie vs Austin at the fire.
I wouldn't want either Dee or Austin with me at the final three - they are too likeable and the jury tends to automatically vote for the tall good looking athletic younger guys.
