Everywhere I look, there's Kaitlyn. Charity and Dotun are getting married next year! She looks drunk to me.

I didn't think the camera needed to show Leslie right during the vows.
But at least they're trying to give her the dancing spotlight, until Katelyn moves right in front. hahaha!

OMG that wedding singer is killing me. Well the wedding was sweet, even if it took forever to get there. Congrats to them both.

I'd love to see Faith as Golden Bachelorette. Or Ellen. Edith is gorgeous, too. Just PLEASE not Kathy!

I enjoyed the wedding special. What a whirlwind way to move on to another stage of life!

OMG...Brayden is moving in with Christina...and is proposing. As much as it is a hoot...bad manners to propose at someone else's wedding. I don't care if he got "permission" to propose. It will always be gross to seek attention at someone else's event. That's all I've got.

Luckily, many of us who watched the GB don't know these two.

I don't think Teresa should have worn a veil, and she should have put her hair up. She would have looked more elegant.

I thought the same thing, karna68. I thought her hair would have been in an updo, also. I also envisioned her in an ivory dress.

I don't mind the color of the dress, but I probably would have worn my hair up and left of the veil, going more for small flowers in my hair. Or maybe even a shorter veil at the back. When I had my first wedding, I had a long veil but it was at the back. My dress was also ivory as pure white didn't work with my skin. In the long run, it was her choice and if she felt lovely in it and Gerry thought she was lovely in it, that is all that mattered.

He, did, after all, propose with a Neil Lane ring! Permission from Gerry and/or Theresa? Huh?
The proposal was emotional, authentic, and appropriate for a Bachelor Wedding show and I say this not knowing either of the couple.

I didn't love the dress, for all sorts of reasons, but I loved seeing Theresa and Gerry so happy! This is the happily ever after ending we, or at least I, always wanted to see immediately after a season's ATFR.

I heard some people saying why the rush, they should have waiting...... why that other couple that was on aren't getting married until 2025. That other couple are not in their 70s!

I haven’t watched yet, but I’m disappointed in Brayden. I liked him during Charity’s season, but he’s seeming more and more like a fame whore.

It may have been to get at least someone from BIP to have a relationship...even if they didn't meet on the show. Also, maybe to distract from the two recent Bachelor nation break ups...Kaitlyn and Jason and most recently, the divorce news from Rachel and Bryan...although nobody should have been surprised by that one since they rarely seemed to actually spend time together. I wasn't surprised by Kaitlyn and Jason either. I was more surprised they got together in the first place. I don't know about Bryden and Christina. He did just survive that accident at sea where he almost died, so maybe that spurred him into action. I hope they are truly serious since there is a child involved.

I'd love to see Faith as Golden Bachelorette. Or Ellen. Edith is gorgeous, too. Just PLEASE not Kathy! I don't think it will be Ellen. IMO she isn't outgoing enough for them. She was like a nun compared to the other ladies who did the boudoir shots at the Bachelorette party and we all know how tptb like their raunch. Faith was better, but if it was going to be her, I would have thought they would have shown more of her. The two that got the most air time were Kathy and Susan and they were they two who were the most outgoing all season. I think I would actually enjoy a season of Susan. She seems more gentle that Kathy who comes across as harsher and more in your face. Susan is fun, outgoing, but also very kind. Everyone seemed to like her and I bet they could do a lot with her as the lead.

I'd enjoy seeing Susan as the lead. I was surprised that Kathy had such a prominent role in the wedding broadcast. She did OK, even if she did make everything about her. She hardly gave poor Charity a chance to say anything. I'm not sure Charity is comfortable ad-libbing, but I guess we'll never know what she would have said if given a chance.
I was rather skeptical of this wedding, but I have to admit that I was touched by the ceremony itself and shed a tear or two at the love they seem to have found. Good for them. I hope they have a smooth go of things.

Well, Cathy did a 180 on Theresa, didn't she? During the season, she seemed to be annoyed by everything Theresa did and now they're besties? I'm feeling a bit cynical about that. I wasn't so thrilled with her "interviewing" everyone, ie. making it all about herself.
I loved that Susan performed the ceremony. She's really grown on me.
I didn't love the dress. It's not really anything to do with her age and wearing a white dress. I just felt like she couldn't walk very well in it. My cousin wore a mermaid dress when she got married and I felt the same way about hers. Fine standing still, but totally impractical for moving. Plus, Theresa's gown was a Badgely Mischka and for a gown that pricey, you'd hope that the strap wouldn't break!
I was okay with Brayden proposing. It wasn't like it was in the middle of the reception OR the ceremony. Plus, a) they did say that he got the okay from Gerry and Theresa and b) and it's clear the producers wanted him to do it. I've seen a lot of people online bashing him for doing it, but it feels like those people don't understand how reality TV works. If the producers didn't want it to happen, it wouldn't have happened.
Out of curiosity, I checked out Gerry and Theresa's registry on Amazon. It looks like a couple of twentysomethings with NO household goods at all registering. Kind of weird. Plus, a $200 SMEG toaster and a $1100-ish flat screen TV? Crazy.

Yeah. I don’t get the Kathy bestie thing either. I hope there was some deep and sincere apologizing that happened behind the scenes.
As for the wedding registry, there were multiple times where the Amazon ads encouraged people to buy for themselves the items on Gerry and Theresa’s registry. I assumed that the purpose of the registry was mostly to promote items Amazon wanted to sell to people.

I just watched Kaitlyn’s podcast. She’s sick, and she said a lot of people got sick at the wedding. I hope Gerry and Teresa are okay. (I suppose that is possible people got sick traveling and not at the wedding itself, but….)

(I suppose that is possible people got sick traveling and not at the wedding itself, but….) Food sick or cold sick? My husband's company has a few locations thru the US. After the holiday party in Boston, several people came down with Covid. We were all fine at the one we were at. It could have also been the traveling. My manager went to Boston (I just realized this as I typed), came back and came down with Covid, which ran through our department, me included.

She said Brayden is sick too and Christina said he's been throwing up. Kaitlyn said she wasn't sure if she got something at the wedding OR on the way there or back. She flies a lot, so it might have been on a plane....although considering that other wedding guests are sick too, there's a good argument for it happening at the wedding. She did say that she's tested for the flu and for Covid and it's neither of those things. She mentioned that she was doing something outside in her yard with the dogs - maybe something with their leashes(?) and she passed out.

That's too bad! It from what Kaitlyn said, there were multiple people she talked to who had come away sick.
