To me, the trick to the ropes is to go THROUGH them, but many seem to be jumping into it and then stopping. So then they get tripped up.
Here come the jump ropers!
Military guys make it through quickly too.

My favored teams are doing well so far. I knew some would struggle (father/daughter) but, I will root for them as long as they are there.
I like Ricky and Caesar, twins, firefighters, dad/daughter and mom/son.

At least the end was a bit of a positive; he did very well on that last challenge. They just couldn't make up the lost time. I was surprised the anesthesiologists made it in time since it looked like they were lost too.

Great to see the Amazing Race again.
Filming for this season began on October 25, 2022 and features chartered air travel rather than commercial air travel. Wow, airing about 15 months later.
Interesting to start in Mexico. First time outside the US? Is it obvious that the blue shirt brother and sister will be the first to go? |

Very nervous for the some of the older folks. Such as Black Shirts - older single dad - the heat and the hills.
There are no road signs in Mexico?
Blue Shirt brother and sister, you could have had sis move the car and inch or two more.
Purple Team thank you for NOT READING THE CLUE in the first episode. It must of killed her to do the lasso jumping twice.
I was surprised and confused with the pit stop and the continued racing. I thought maybe the last team in would not be eliminated due to the race being continued.

Twins look similar but yes one is shorter than the other. I wonder if that’s because of shoes or genetics? I think I have watched the twin brothers and screechy female twins so much on HGTV that I can see the differences immediately. One has straighter hair and one has a slight broader face or mouth. |

I'm a little late to watching the premiere! Sorry if my thoughts are scattered, I was commenting while watching. It was SO fun to have them start out in Puerto Vallarta...it's like a 2nd home to me. I've been going there since I was five. I knew exactly where they were. I don't know how the purple team got lost...when driving into PV, you literally drive right up to the Malecon. And if you get lost...then say Malecon and EVERYONE in town will know where it is. It's the length of downtown. I've seen those guys perform on the Malecon many times! Those poor rocking horses  (yes, they really do have them set out for the kids)  That poor purple team stuck in the street. How did they not think to back out?! I love the reactions of the refs at the wrestling. They were so into it. I kinda love Ricky and Cesar. I'm confused as to why they even had Phil there if they were still racing? The first team didn't get a prize but yet there was an elimination? That really doesn't make sense to me. If it had to be anyone though, I'm glad it was the purple team.  |

I guess camera team couldn’t suggest backing the car up. I’m surprised they got it halfway, must have taken them the longest time to do that. It must be tough watching themselves right now. Well, I think in the future they will know to back up.was that a one way street? Yes, it's a one way. They use to be very narrow 2 way streets but they were changed to one ways. Those road blocks they showed...I believe they do go down if needed. |

Happy its back! My initial rooting is for the firefighters from WI. My dd wanted be a firefighter for years and years (longer than anything else).

When dad/daughter Chris fell, I loved that is daughter Mary took his hand and ran with him…..reassuring him, instead of yelling Come on dad!!!!
