Bhanu may have a triumphant story, but the edit he got on the show was humiliating in my opinion. They gave him too much screen time. They could have told his story of overcoming poverty without making him look so pathetic.

He should not have been cast. He really started to lose reality, and as someone said before, it was hard to watch. I mean, he was begging. How has this man watched Survivor before and think you can have an honest game? I started to get annoyed by him and sort of tuned out by the time he was telling his poverty story. Because, like the tribe, I was done with him too. Hopefully, he is happy and whole at home.
I really like Q; he speaks like such an athlete and is a natural coach. He's my favorite so far.

Poor Bhanu can't follow directions. Missed jumping off the crate. Anyone notice Tevan was bent over searching the bottom of the sit out bench in plain sight and no one is paying any attention?I didn't notice that, but often wonder why people wouldn't ALWAYS check there! I'll have to watch that again; good for him for looking. Thanks for the observation.

Yeah as really hope that Bhanu will be helped as really the guy makes the show look like a cakewalk. Compared to his upbringing and being homeless.

I felt for Bhanu - he seems like a great guy - but honestly the crying and begging would be exhausting to me. I get why his tribe was over it.
Now maybe we can focus more on the rest of the players.

It was exhausting to me, and I wasn't even there. I can see why Kenzie snapped. All that on an empty stomach? I don't blame her.

Ok, Jem is now my official favorite player and I am rooting for her to go all the way!
I like Soda and her singing was fun, I hope she lasts to the merge at least! I want to see her play more.
Did anyone else notice that Hunter did the balls underhand, like scoop/basket style? So, that was quite impressive because he is clearly a physical force but he realize the traditional basketball shot was harder and went the easier route. I was surprised to see that but pleased he thought it out.
I *did* catch Tevin looking under the bench. How can you watch Survivor and not, Im always amazed more people do not. I also like him so super bummed he is targeting Soda.
Kenzie, Im tired of Bhahu too but its not the first time she has been mean (that whole unkindness about Jelalmostforgothimski to the other tribes when he wasn't there) - so no free pass for her from me. Ill be happy to see her go.
And speaking of Bhahu, I am glad to see him gone. I can't handle that emotional roller coaster of whoa is me, God save me, total melt down, win hearts stchik, lather, rinse, repeat. I am sure he is a nice guy in person and wish him the best in life but it was a terrible edit for him and not something I want to watch any more. I felt as uncomfortable as Tiff looked when he was on his knees begging to her. It was not fun to watch at all. I don't think he will get to be a fan favorite, its too soon, people will more or less forget about him and there will be another favorite that lasts longer.
As always, my $0.02 but so far I am really enjoying this season!

I don't like sounding mean...but DANG am I glad Bhanu is gone. The past 2 weeks have been "The Bhanu Show", and not Survivor. I haven't had to fast forward so much in an episode of Survivor in years. I really could not stand to watch that crying drama queen. He was ruining this season for me. So HOPEFULLY we can get back to actual Survivor next week.

Lots of contestants have come from very humble beginnings, but they didn't cry and beg every 5 minutes. Then he got mad at god because it wasn't going his way. God isn't stupid, he was ready for Bhanu to go home too. Thank God no jury. Now let's play Survivor. No more crying.

I think when he thought that having another contestant medically evacuated was divine intervention just for him turned me off big time. And then him yelling at God because he wasn't winning was way too much. And the 'winning a million hearts' didn't even make sense to me.

I really could not stand to watch that crying drama queen. He was ruining this season for me. So HOPEFULLY we can get back to actual Survivor next week. Bhanu was obviously a big part of the last 4 episodes so yes it was the Bhanu Show. The man just gave and gave and gave a lot of footage with the emotional up and down, in addition he just happened to be on the tribe that keeps loosing. If Bhanu was on a tribe that didn't lose how different would his story be? I was shocked and surprised that a person who was born into such terrible circumstances was able to survive, educate himself, get a degree in computer science, learn English and move from India to America, it speaks of accomplishment and drive. However, the man is simply too naive, has no common sense, or street sense and certainly Survivor's worst ever player which I totally do not understand considering what he has overcome.
Thankfully, The Bhanu Show has been cancelled.
Did anyone notice that when they showed some scenes from Siga/Green regarding Jem that is was several days earlier as well as Nami/Orange. A podcaster I listen to pointed that out. Thankfully, we are having scenes from Siga and Nami setting up for future storyarcs.
I find Tevan a bit mean but I do appreciate his relationship with Hunter. I normally don't like the good looking athletic types as everyone fawns over them as they have been getting that admiration all their lives due to their looks. Hunter is different as he is playing the game very low key. He is playing the provider role but I like how he is doing it, very humbly, very smart. This man prepared for the game. He is also not pushing his personality on to the game and not trying to push how the tribe is doing, but at this point in the game he does not need to as they keep winning. Interesting how both Tevan and Hunter are targeting Soda.
Jem. Who the heck is Jem? She was on the show? Yes previous events overshadowed her. I LUV that she found the Beware Advantage during a group Immunity Hunting Event and didn't tell anyone and in fact did it in front of another player (Charlie). Finally someone who can keep their mouth shut.
I really liked that Jem re-hid the Beware Advantage for someone else to find. That is simply so deliciously devious and fun. The Survivor Gods must have luv'ed it too as the "fake" Beware Advantage was hidden above a huge ant colony. What is even better the camera guys had a camera in the hole looking back at the players digging the hole. I am sure Jeff luv'ed it too.
There are 9 more episodes to go with tribes and players we barely know, hopefully there will be a lot of twists and turns packed in to the remaining episodes. I do hope Yanu/Purple wins the next immunity challenge just to shake things up. They did show they are capable of winning. Unless there is a tribe switch the next several challenges will be very interesting as only 3 members of each tribe can compete. Survivor does shake it up a bit as they have had tribe switches in episode 4, 5 or 6 lately. Normally they do a tribe merge round episode 6 or 7 to start the jury pool.

OMG...Bhanu is an actor/dancer: Well. I did not see this coming. Thanks for sharing. I don't know what to think. But his win a million hearts comment makes more sense now, his goal was to further his career I assume.

I just listened to "On Fire with Jeff Probst" it is the Official Survivor Podcast that is on Spotify and YouTube. The most recent episode is "Jeff Don't Lie" and goes over episode 4. Dee the winner from last season is on for the player perspective as well as Jeff. They talk about Bhanu at the 26 minute mark to about the 35 minute mark. It is very interesting how they set up the last two scenes of the episode and how they edited it. Jeff also gives a bit of insight to why Bhanu was cast.

Wow!!! Of course, he is an actor. Great find, Bear! I also liked on the "On Fire with Jeff Probst" Podcast that Jeff and the editors looked at those last two scenes of Bhanu looking for an idol and praying and wailing at God and the universe as Bhanu's death in the game and with him going through all the stages of grief until his acceptance of it at the end with him lying on the ground with the drone shot pulling away.
Also luv'ed Jeff's comments that while they got some great shots like the "death scene", Bhanu did drive his tribe mates crazy because he did not know how to play the game.
