I was cracking up while watching Paul and Terry strip down to their undies to measure their body fat and have a little flexing contest. I like they way they joke together.
I felt so bad for the guy with no butt. I mean...wow. If there has ever been anyone on this show that needed the surgery it was him. I was sad for him that he decided against it. But it did seem like a huge procedure. I was glad that Dr. Dubrow said to him that he would be there if he changed his mind.

I love the energy and friendship between Paul and Terry. This surprises me, cause I really didn't particularly care for either one of them when their wives were on the Housewives shows. But the two of them really seem to bring out the best in each other, and the parts of their personalities (especially the humor) that we never got to see, when they were on tv by themselves. And now that they have joined forces on this show, I always enjoy their interaction with each other, even if I'm not particularly interested in the patients.

Has the new season started? I really enjoy their banter as well. I sometimes have to hide my eyes with some of the surgical stuff they show, but I love a happy ending.

So many horrible cases this week. First of all, the lady with the dent in her chin. People going thru transitioning without a lot of money in the 90s and early 2000s often had no choice but to go the bootleg route. In a way, she was very fortunate; I've heard of people dying from bootleg procedures and hormones. One of the things I like best about this show is how Paul and Terry don't discriminate; they just want to help people, period. And I was very glad that Paul made her look a lot better than what she did before. Double-Bubble girl: It seems like she had developed the habit of internalizing things and not talking about them, and it really has not served her well. She spent 5 years with extremely painful endometriosis before she told her mother or a doctor about it. Then, she keeps her botched boob job a secret for years. I can't help but think that she could have spared herself a lot of pain had she opened her mouth sooner. Either way, I was glad that Tewrry had a good plan for her and was able to fix the botched surgery. I felt so bad for the guy with no butt. I mean, there are unfortunate people out here with flat butts, but even they have more than this guy. He didn't have glute muscles period, all he had was a crack and legs. It was even sadder because despite getting the cancer that caused his condition and everything else he was genuinely a good guy. I can understand him passing on the surgery for now as it would have been a lot more involved than getting a simple BBL or even implants because the doctors were limited in what they could do because he had no glutes.

Paul and Terry are nuts. Flapjack butt? Glad they could fix that poor girl's nose (her mom sure wanted her out of the house!) and the girl with the crappy boob job. How did the doctors not explain her BRCA test to her? Geez, she thought she had an unnecessary mastectomy all this time... And the English guy who wanted butt implants because he had a "flat" butt. I thought his behind was cute! I guess everyone wants a Kardashian butt nowadays.

Rajee is back. I want good things for her, so it made me sad that her facial growths had returned and were so heavy they were pulling her eyes downward. Both doctors obviously adore her, and I was glad they were able to help her once more. The girl with the asymmetrical breasts is a good reason to get a second opinion if you're not sure of what the doctor is proposing. An implant with a valve leading to the outside of the body seems incredibly unsafe, and she had it for years! I must say Dr. Dubrow did a wonderful job on her because her breasts looked amazing when he was done. I think both doctors have a system where they screen out people who are forever getting something "done." That seemed to be the case with their third client, a man who spent 80k to look like Britney Spears. He did not look anything like her, lol. He wanted his nose worked on some more (so it could look more like Britney's) but the doctors didn't think that his nose could withstand another surgery.

No, that kid looked nothing like Britney Spears. Britney doesn't have those enormous puffy lips, for one thing.
Poor Rajee! It seems like those growths are always going to come back...but they fixed her up for now. She does have an amazing attitude about it, I don't know that I could stay so cheerful. And that girl with the messed up implant should have sued that quack she went to originally. I'm surprised she didn't have serious complications.

This week (as well as last week) was very sad. The lady who had her nipple turn black and scab off with MRSA...turned out that whole scenario could have been avoided, had her surgeon immediately saw her when her breast initially was turning red and swelling. This show really hits home why you should research your surgeon and ask lots of questions before they touch your body. Dr. Dubrow did a marvelous job on reconstructing her breasts; even tattooing a areola and nipple on the breast that had the infection.
They had to bring out the Leech Lady for the client who had her nose reconstructed because she was having blood flow issues. Leeches in medical work fascinates me; they do a marvelous job getting circulation and blood flow going, as well as getting rid of dead flesh safely. I believe there were some other issues with her nose, so her case will conclude next week.

Her case was finished this week. We saw her reveal when she met up with her daughter and husband The leeches always freak me out. I think I would have to be sedated in order to let that happen I felt SO bad for the lady with the MRSA. How could a doctor be so negligent?!? Terrible. Thank goodness for Dr. Dubrow. He did an amazing job.

I hope Mr. Space Elf doesn't do anything else to his eyes. He might think purple eyes are cool now, but if he goes blind when he's older, what's the point?
Glad they could help the poor woman with the oft-broken nose (how unlucky is she?), and the one with the wandering implants. Both of them looked so much better afterwards.

I liked Mr Space Elf, but some of the procedures he's had in the past were questionable. I hope he listens to the doctors and doesn't get any more.
Did they explain why that poor woman's implants went wandering about her chest? Usually the muscles in your chest area holds them in place.

They did great with the California nose woman and the guy with the messed up chest. But that one who wanted to look "African"? I have no words. I'm glad they told her to go live with her present look for a while before deciding on the nose job.

That German couple made me so angry last night. I can't really say on here what I think of this (because I don't want to get banned, lol) but Race and Culture is NOT a cute costume you put on just because you're tired of your own vanilla life. > Not to mention that the procedure they did to get darker is experimental and highly illegal in the States.

I too can't believe that German couple. No words. Was shocked on there before pics.
So happy for the lady that got the nose she wanted , hope it doesn't move and go back like they said it could before.
The guy with the chest problems , loved the doctors faces when they found out his boyfriend used to be a girl too.

This week's episode had some very interesting cases!
• A lady who had bags under her eyes. She worked as a model and was afraid of losing jobs to younger women, so she agreed to some quack putting fat in her bags like filler "to even things out." Not only did it not work, it literally left her with huge puffy bags that were extremely distracting and caused her to lose a lot of jobs. Dr. Nassiff explained that while he might be able to help he would only be able to make it look 50-70% better, plus it might make things worse. She agreed to the surgery, and Dr. Nassiff had another Dr. (one who specialized in the eye area) to assist him in the operating room. While they were able to remove a great deal of the fat, some of it had adhered to the muscle below the eye and they left that bit alone (as messing with it would damage the muscle which controlled eye movement). She looked absolutely fab once all the swelling went down and was extremely happy.
• A lady whose life goal was to look like a cartoon character. She had numerous procedures to look this way including rib removal, waist training, elven ears, a pointy nose, labiaplasty so her "vagina could look like a flower" (!) and jaw shaving in South Korea. I think she wanted the Drs to give her a brow lift or something? Upon examining her they discovered that due to the jaw shaving she could not feel anything on her cheeks and lips and couldn't smile. The Drs were afraid that the damage was permanent. Needless to say, they passed on doing any procedures on her. Personally, I think after a certain point plastic surgery becomes like an addiction because you will always find something "wrong." I felt bad for her; she is like a female Rodrigo.
• A gorgeous woman (and a good friend of Tiny, who was the lead singer in a 90s R&B group as well as rapper T.I.'s wife) had a breast augmentation procedure where they installed the implants through the area where she was getting a tummy tuck, and had complications as a result. One of the breast was really hard from capsular contraction, while the other had ripples and significant drooping. Dr. Dubrow explained why getting an augmentation done that way really isn't best and listed the pros and cons of having it fixed--including the possibility of losing her nipples since she was also having a lift done. She agreed, and during the procedure something happened that Dr. Dubrow had never seen before; in the breast that had the capsular contraction there was also gobs of this material that looked like a white, clayish substance that was kinda gross. Dr Dubrow thought that during her previous procedure the fact that the implant went from her abdomen to the chest cavity some bacteria hitched a ride on the implant, and the body built up this mystery substance as protection. Anyway, once he was able to scrape that out, make her areolas smaller and put in new implants she was fine. She didn't lose her nipples, and weeks later was at a party with Tiny looking fabulous. This woman had a twenty year old daughter and genuinely looked like her sister, that's how amazing she looked.

Good grief, that poor woman with the messed up chin/jawline and the one with the boobs that went different ways. They both looked much better after revision surgery. How are some of these doctors board certified with the horrible work they do?
And the girl who was on 16 and Pregnant (don't watch that show) really didn't need those huge implants with such a tiny frame. I know someone who had to get hers reduced in size because she was so petite and they were giving her serious back pain.

I felt so bad for the lady with the chin/jawline. It's not enough that a doctor be board certified anymore; if I was seeking PS I would make sure the doctor specializes in the area I want fixed (ie: Dr. Dubrow specializing in breasts, Dr. Nassiff specializing in noses) see how many patients they do that particular surgery to yearly, see if any complaints have been launched against the doctor, and get testimonials from other patients. Most reputable doctors won't mind you asking for this information and will make it available to future patients who are sitting on the fence. Also, there's a difference between being "board certified" and "board-certified cosmetic surgeon" and you want the latter. I'm glad that they were able to srt her face out because that was terrible.
As for the reality star, sometimes you get what you pay for. If some quack of a doctor contacted me on Instagram offering a free surgical procedure in exchange for the right to air the whole procedure on Snapchat I would run from that so fast he would be kissing the breeze goodbye. No reputable doctor would do that, and that doctor seemed to be more fixated on what size he thought she should have as opposed to what size would be appropriate for her frame.

Upon watching it again it turns out that the reality star wanted that size in the first place and insisted that the doctor do it. Hmmm...how can you say something is "botched" for being too big if that's what you wanted in the first place? Looks like someone wanted more attention and another free augmentation surgery once she realized there is such a thing as "too big."

I will never understand the appeal of watermelon-sized implants with the huge fake fish lips. It looks silly.
The woman with the chopped up belly this week - yikes. I can't imagine how uncomfortable that would be, having those weird flaps on your abdomen. They did a great job fixing her up, and the guy with the smashed nose, too.

One of the best things about this show is when they give advice to not have more plastic surgery and the patient not only understands but decides not to do it. The woman with the boobs had already done amazing things with her body without plastic surgery (losing a lot of weight, getting toned) and if anything needed to reduce her size. Even with the big implants and some rippling her breasts were soft and showed no signs of capsular contraction. It was very good that she listened to the doctors and decided against more surgery.
The woman with the botched tummy tuck's story made me sad and angry. The only reason why she had the procedure in the first place was to look attractive to her cheating, alleycat husband and she almost lost her life because of it. In the future I hope she sheds 220 lbs of deadweight (the crappy husband) and finds someone who will love and cherish her, because that type of man rarely changes.
I'm glad Dr Nassiff really made a change in the guy with the damaged nose because....damn. If his nose looked like that after a procedure I'd hate to see what it looked like before. He looked great after the revision.

Good GRIEF. What was that stuff the lady with skin cancer put on her nose that ate it all away and how is it even legal to buy?? Unbelievable. She's lucky they could fix that mess.
And I didn't think Trinity's lips were that bad! A few bumps, but I didn't think they were all that noticeable.

Good GRIEF. What was that stuff the lady with skin cancer put on her nose that ate it all away and how is it even legal to buy?? Unbelievable. She's lucky they could fix that mess. And I didn't think Trinity's lips were that bad! A few bumps, but I didn't think they were all that noticeable. It was Black salve (a dangerous and controversial alternative cancer treatment). Directions were to only use a drop of it on the affected area so of course she slathered her nose and forehead in it. She's lucky that it only ate the tip instead of her entire nose. To add insult to injury, they ended up doing the procedure she was trying to avoid in the first place. This is why doctors warn people about home cures they find on the internet; your average layperson has no idea what they are doing and cause harm to themselves. Dr. Nassiff did a marvelous job of reconstructing her nose cause she looked great afterwards.
I'm left wondering why the body builder's implant sprung a leak? She definitely knew how to prioritize; I would pick financing my child's education over a boob job too. I was glad Dr. Dubrow was able to help her.
The reason why Trinity's lips didn't look that bad was she was wearing lipstick/some sort of lip balm during the shooting; the minute she took it off you could see lumps and extreme dryness, plus the part of the lip that is normally on the inside of the mouth was on the outside. I can't fault her for not taking advantage of the surgery; just being on RPDR can net you serious cash by making club appearances, openings, conventions, and other events, and the more popular queens tend to stay booked. I follow Kim Chi, Naomi Smalls, and Bob The Drag Queen on Instagram and they are always promoting events, traveling, preforming, eating different food, etc...and they travel not only nationally but also internationally. A surgery with a 3 week healing period like Dr Nassiff suggested would have to be timed carefully.

I haven't posted in here for a while but last week's episode was very intense and sad. I felt really bad for the lady with the auto-immune disease that literally ate all of her facial fat so she looked like she was literally wasting away, and then to add insult to injury one of her breast implants was hard and pointed up, while the other was soft and pointed down. After examining her, they basically decided that it was a two-doctor job; Dubrow for the breasts and Nassiff for the face. Dr. Nassiff scraped away scar tissue in her face and found a type of permanent filler to insert in her face for fullness. Meanwhile, Dr. Dubrow discovered that she had blood clots surrounding the impacted implant, and since he was concerned about that and her disease he took both implants out and gave her a lift. The end result was great, and she went back to their office bearing thank-you gifts for both doctors.
The other case I felt really bad about was a young man who lost 200 lbs and had a lot of loose skin so he decided to use plastic surgery to get rid of it. Instead, the doctor botched it and made him look even worse than before, plus he had like a weird reverse muffin top where it was skinny halfway down and a lot of loose skin on top? He was wearing a lot of slimmers to suck everything in and was deeply ashamed. It was a difficult surgery for Dr. Dubrow because not only did he have to cut the love handles off on the sides he also had to trim the loose skin in the middle as well. The end result looked great.
The third person I didn't feel anything for was the woman who was a plastic surgery junkie whose only goal in life was to look like a **** doll. She had numerous surgeries to attain that goal, and her last breast surgery almost killed her as I believe she developed an allergy to anesthesia. Her boyfriend was extremely worried about her and didn't want her to have any more surgery. This is the first time I've ever seen Dr. Nassiff yell at a patient because they kept trying to explain to her why she shouldn't have any more surgery and she just would not get it. There's no doubt in my mind that she will continue to risk her life getting more procedures because nothing will ever satisfy her.
