I'm surprised (and disappointed) that there aren't more comments in this thread. I hope people are watching, cause I thought 'The Duels 1' was a great episode, and the level of dancing was almost always top notch.
I'm just sad that some FABULOUS dancers were lost in the very 1st dueling round, cause those dancers were qualified to go much further ( and should have been able to) --- but couldn't because of their bad luck in having to dance against equally superb dancers.

I'm watching, some of them twice..I love the girl group The Expressenz, they were so in sync, it was as if they danced as one..

I thought Expressenze were great too, they dance beautifully and are so in sync! I was really surprised to see Eva Igo go - but truthfully, I thought the junior pair she was up against were excellent and completely deserved their win!! And, if I'm being totally honest.....I think Eva's routine last night just wasn't that strong It's a shame, because last year was her year, she rocked it and definitely should have won!

I agree, Eva wasn't as good this season,.

I finally got to see it and while I love Eva, she was definitely doing the "same" Eva we've seen and not as good as we've seen. I was sorry to see her go, but at the same time glad to see that duo advance. If she had advanced based on those dances, it would have been a 'pity' vote or because of her name. She's just the sweetest thing....with the fierce face!

I totally agree about Eva Igo. It was a shame too, because she's one of the best young dancers I've ever seen. I think that when she was preparing her own routine, she either underestimated her competition or overestimated her own routine. And in both instances, she was wrong. I am hoping that she'll come back next year and try again. That would be amazing, especially if she dances up to her capabilities, which I'm sure are tremendous!
