The last concert I attended was in August or Sept of 2019. Man, that was a long time ago.

There are so many great concerts coming to the area: Metallica, Bush, Rage Against The Machine, The Killers, Deftones and more.

We saw Journey several years ago, and they were fantastic. They played/sang all of their hits. Toto would be great, as well. Love their song, ' I Won't Hold You Back'. I also like 'Rosanna', '99', and 'Pamela'. Good music!

Indigo Swing was a retro swing band of the mid-late 1990s, based out of San Francisco.
The band was founded in 1992 when founder John Boydston saw a swing band performing in San Francisco's Club Deluxe. He wanted to capture the feel of the 1940s swing and bring back styles of dancing that connected the partners, and so went looking for musicians that shared that vision.
The group did a lot of touring; in many cases they opened for The Brian Setzer Orchestra. They had a high-energy performing style. A typical Indigo Swing show had some people just listening to the music but many people up and out on the dance area the whole time.
This song comes from their 2nd & final album. It was called Red Light! & was released in 1999.
I was all in on the swing revival.

Needless to say, yet another senior moment reared its ugly head & made me post that in the wrong place.

"Hold the Line" is probably my favorite Toto song so I was super happy to hear it live. They played all the others you'd expect except "99" - I read that the guitar player hates that song and they don't really perform it any more. Hm. Here's a few pics the venue tweeted out (I wasn't on the floor, I was one level up) - the place was packed!

Wow!! Thanks for sharing, waywyrd. Looks like you had real good seats. Is that lead guitarist Neil Schon with the gray hair? Very talented man on the guitar!

So the Eagles are coming here next month and I was looking up ticket prices - $200 for crappy seats, up to $900 for VIP tickets. Yikes. For that price Don Henley better come down and give me foot rub or something. Just for giggles I dug up my old ticket stubs, the first concert I ever went to was Barry Manilow for the whopping price of $15 in 1981. Jefferson Starship, Def Lepperd, Poison, Tina Turner, Aerosmith - all around $20-25 for good seats back in the 80's. What happened to ticket prices? Sheesh.

After the hot messes that Ticketmaster made of the Taylor Swift and Bad Bunny tickets I'm really apprehensive of buying tickets to any gigs sponsored by them, because selling tickets only to say later that you sold duplicates and not honor them the day of the concert is not a good look. I wanted to see Fever Ray and Beyonce but both have Ticketmaster and in the case of Fever Ray the ticket price was practically doubled once you add in all of TMs fees!

I heard something on the radio about Bryan Adams coming to my state here, not very far away in June!! Oh, how I'd love to see him in concert...again. We've seen him twice.

I agree, waywyrd, that concert prices have gotten way out of hand!
