Day 47
Events likely to happen today:
- Brett's "InstaGranny" punishment will likely begin. Prepare for feeds to be down during it like they were during Rachel's "yell" app
- selection of Have-Nots
Significant things that happened yesterday:
- Haleigh used her hacker power to pick Kaycee to play in the veto comp. The other two players that were drawn were Brett and Scottie.
- Angela won veto. Jessie came in to host, and it sounds like it was the one where they run back and forth rolling balls down a beam. They all talked about how hard it was, how hot and exhausted they were, and Tyler hurt his ankle. There were also prizes and punishments involved (check the State of Play thread for more details). There was some drama and confusion involved with the prize picking. Kaycee got a trip to Hawaii, but Brett took that from her and gave her the Health Nut costume. Then Tyler took the Hawaii trip from Brett, giving him the "Insta Granny." Scottie got $5000 which he tried to trade Angela for the veto.
- When feeds returned, Brett was sulking in the have not room talking to anyone who would come in about he was so mad that Tyler took the Hawaii trip from him instead of taking the veto. This was all an act, as Level 6/4 continues their mastery of making plans and implementing them. Now Brett is playing up that he's all alone, much like Tyler did last week. He wants to get in tight with Bayleigh and by extension, Fessy, so that when Bayleigh leaves, he'll have an "in" with Fessy.
- Angela promised Tyler and Scottie that she would take Tyler down and not put Scottie up. The three of them gathered in the HOH room and much acting (and hilarity) ensued on both sides. Tyler and Angela full of sadness and indignation about how Scottie's "people" were abandoning him, and how dare Bayleigh make him swear on the bible. Scottie even squeezed out a tear. (note - Tyler doesn't really trust Scottie, Scottie doesn't really trust Tyler - but for the time being they are all doing what they need to do). Angela is filing all this information away to use in her speech at the veto meeting.
- The plan is still to backdoor Bayleigh, but to catch "everyone" (Bay/Haleigh/Angie/Fessy) by surprise.
- Tyler was concerned that Bayleigh's power might work for the veto meeting and she's kept that part secret. Angela plans to stick close to Bayleigh and make her feel safe so she doesn't use it. Kaycee says that Bayleigh is freaking out about possibly going up, and if she had the power she would be more calm.
- Kaycee got her health nut costume and was a great sport about it, although Sam was angry that Brett took the Hawaii trip from her and gave her the costume. It's not fair, you see, because Kaycee has already had to wear a costume.
- Angie, Haleigh and Bayleigh came up with a master plan, now that they're potentially in danger again, to re-pitch the all girls alliance to Angela and Kaycee. They want to say that Tyler and Scottie have a final 2, to get Angela to put Scottie back up. After this, they were in overly high spirits and giddy and excited and loud. Bayleigh also told Haleigh that if they don't win HOH next week, she'll use her power. Haleigh was ecstatic. They've got it all figured out! Way to go!
- Angela and Kaycee discussed how obvious the timing was for this offered renewal of the girls alliance. Angela added that to her growing list of things to mention in her veto meeting speech.
- Angela came to Sam a couple times to give her updates about what was going on, as did Tyler. Angela told Sam that she has an idea of who she plans to backdoor. Sam said she didn't know the details, but in the next breath complained that she's always in the dark and doesn't know what's going on.
- Later, Angela updated Sam again on the girls alliance thing, and Sam was forlorn that she wasn't included in that. She tells Angela to just tell her if she's the one going up. Angela assures her that is absolutely not the case. Oh, Sam. Angela tells her that everyone who voted to keep her in week 1 has her back. "Even Brett?" asks Sam. Angela says yes.
- Angela put in lots of work in long one-on-ones with Bayleigh and Haleigh, making them feel secure. This is very important to remember because Angela and Kaycee will be playing their roles today, making it seem like they are going along with the girls alliance. They are not.
- Haleigh fills Fessy in on their plan to get Angela to replace Angie with Scottie, to split up Tyler and Scottie. Haleigh says she thinks it's better to get rid of Scottie because Tyler is weak minded and can be controlled more easily. Fessy agrees and says that Tyler is soft. Haleigh: "I know. He is an innocent little lamb thrown into a lion's den"
- Sam still hates Haleigh.
