I wonder why Chris said half his gray hairs are from Becca? (The other half from his own daughter.) Why?
The van was cheesy but funny I guess. The trip is a nice gift!! I was trying to remember if Rachel or JoJo got gifts, but I can't remember.
I'm one of those "excited" about Paradise, as Chris has said! I want to see Eric, Wells, Wills, and laugh at Jordan.

Rachel and Bryan got a trip back to Spain...but, before that it had been a while. Both Rachel and Becca had to put up with some nasty dudes. Rachel had the bigot and Becca had the sexual predators, so maybe tptb are trying to make up for it?

I was pleasantly surprised to see that Blake has to a large degree moved on, considering what an emotional wreck he was. Did you notice when Chris Harrison asked him if he was still in love with Becca, unlike others who after 3 or 4 months answer,"yes," he did not. He said instead that Becca would always be a part of him which does not mean the same thing. My guess is that they have been talking to him about the possibility of being the next Bachelor IF he is ready. They haven't promised him anything, but they most likely have been talking with him about how he is doing, etc. Likewise, I think the same thing is happening with Jason. Notice that both of them are stressing that they both want her to be happy.....they now want THEIR relationship and happiness, too.

I think Emily still has the most expensive wardrobe of all the Bettes….$350,000. And from what I remember she had it written into her contract that she got to keep most of it. I think her M&G gown was $40,000...so probably close to $80,000 today.

Blake just got the boot on the West coast and I really think his reaction makes him less likely to be the next Bachelor. I mean, would YOU think a guy was ready to move on and find love if he'd had THAT kind of emotional reaction after being dumped just a few months earlier? I think he's a great guy, but I don't know if he'd come off so well if he immediately turned around and became the Bach.
I think it'll be Jason....or someone NOT from this past season. Has anyone gone on to be a lead after participating in Bach Pad or BiP?
TBH, I wouldn't have picked ANY of the guys on this season (or, really, ANY season) if I was the Bach'ette. Probably because I think it's a bit of a character flaw to want to go on reality TV, or at least on a dating reality show

He was in this BIP relationship that looked really serious (can't remember the name of the woman) and then suddenly dumped her on the final night seemingly out of nowhere. And then we found out that they had offered him the Bachelor gig. He had dumped her in order to be the lead on the show. Cold blooded!!!

I can SMELL the Bachelor all over this one!! ....only this is absolutely the worst case of deception - if you aren't a well-seasoned Bachelor viewer - that I have ever seen. I think there are going to be a lot of upset, frankly pi**** off commenters on social media over that Finale. It was 85-90% Blake right up to the point where she said, "but," in her rejection. We heard her say she loved him. We heard her say she didn't know how she could see herself without him. She said she couldn't see herself letting him go. She went on and on about Blake in a similar vein.....and in such a way that we did not hear her say about Garrett.
My husband, a first time viewer, blamed HER. That is what they wanted. This was her STORYLINE from the beginning - just like Arie's. She fell in love with 2 people, and ultimately she chose the OTHER one, the unexpected one. The result? Now she better understands Arie, what he did, and how he felt.
Now....one other thing, speaking objectively. She has had to deal with the fall out and backlash from his social media mess. WHAT HAS HE HAD TO DEAL WITH? He had to deal with everything we saw. "I love Blake, Blake, Blake." Plus, she very clearly in front of everybody slept with Blake and enjoyed it two or three weeks before she professed ever lasting love for him, Garrett....in front of his family and friends. That is hard for any man. That was tactfully not discussed, but believe me - THEY discussed it which may help every one to understand why she could forgive him for his social media gaffes.

I finally realized last night who Garrett reminds me of with his goofiness and even his looks and mannerisms and the way he talks -- David Arquette! Hope if R&G get married, it works out better than DA's marriage to Courtney Cox.

So what was on Garrett's instagram that had everybody in an uproar? He liked things that were said about Parkland being actors, some homophobic things he liked, if you Google it, it should come up. Some forums have it posted. I have to say, seeing his wedding video to Kayla ( who is Becca's double) blows my mind...

Garrett's too goofy for my tastes (and probably not very bright, although that's most of them), but Blake isn't interesting to me either. Too immature. Really, it's not my choice; it's Becca's, which is the point of the show. I don't watch it thinking they're going to get married and be together forever. Odds are, they won't even make it to the altar. It's entertainment. I don't feel sorry for any of them if there's a break-up, because they signed up for it.

Often, the editing will try to tell us things.
I am going throw in what I think the editing is showing us which may or may not be true in real life.
Becca told Blake that she thought he "stayed in his head too much," and that might cause problems when they had children, etc. I think the implication was he would stew and fret too much when he needed to just act or something.
We saw Becca's uncle questioning Garrett closely about his short-lived marriage. How did it happen that it was only 2 months? What he could he do ( might have done) differently? The implication was that Garrett is perhaps impulsive sometimes. If the two of them had spent time or more time with his family before marrying, would this dynamic ( whatever is wrong between ex-wife and family) have shown up or at least been hinted at. It is very likely, in my opinion. If so, it may or may not could have been worked out before the marriage. If not, maybe they didn't marry. It was obvious that Garrett is extremely close to his family - much in the same manner as Becca is to hers.
We did see Blake stew and "be in his head". That was pretty clear. We also did see fairly happy go lucky Garrett not appear to think very deeply about things, and it would not take much of a leap to see how he could act impulsively to his detriment such as clicking away without even bothering to real think it through. I don't think for a moment that he would really agree with throwing - throwing?? - any child over a wall several feet high, child abuse.
We all have imperfections, and these are things if true both Blake and Garrett have to work on as they mature.

He can say he's sorry now, but that's because he's on this show. Highly edited regarding Blake, I do think he would challenge Becca, whereas Garrett will not.

Re: Garrett's IG "scandal." You can only see certain things on your social media if you a) follow them, b) have friends who do or c) the algorithm for that platform has determined that you like those sorts of posts. I can say with absolute certainty that I would never see ANY of the accounts with posts that Garrett liked. So, either his friends are callous, bigoted, racist dirtbags or he is....or he just doesn't care because, as a white man in America, he doesn't have to. Maybe Becca has said she doesn't care about someone's political affiliation, but I can't imagine she wouldn't care about this. IMO, what he did (not the apology, which IMO is only because he got caught and not because he actually felt bad about what he did) shows a weakness in character that I wouldn't be able to get over. Someone who likes a post about throwing a CHILD over a wall is not okay. Again - a lack of character and NOT funny.
All that being said, I never have to see this person ever again. If Becca's okay with his behavior, then that's her problem. I give them 6 months. Max.
The ultimate irony would be if she realized she's made the wrong choice and went knocking on Blake's door.

Well, I'm late to the party. Got home from vacation last night 45 minutes into the show. Missed all up to last chance date with Garrett. Once again, some of my observations are now quite a bit out of date, but were written down at the time of watching: Yep, old Monkey Jumper is back again. I hope watching herself do this makes her realize how stupid it looks on a grown woman. She said: "It evolved slowly" "It didn't happen instantly or overnight". Hah!! I call bullsh*t. She picked him day #1. The dolphins in the water were a great touch. Id love to see that. He says: "How awesome it would be to change a kid's diaper with you." What's wrong with that man? Yuck! Sick sense of what's enjoyable. Time for Blake. Yep, Monkey Girl strikes again. Interesting.... She got a romantic boat ride with dolphins with Garrett, and a bike ride & swim with Blake. A lot less contact. Hmmm Garrett talked about how he felt about her & how strong his love was, while Blake kept talking about how "we" feel. He was telling her how she felt. I don't like that. For instance - "Nobody can make her smile/laugh like I can". I dated a guy like that once. It really bugged me then & bugs me now. It's like the guy is dismissing her own feelings in favor of his own. The Memory Box was a nice touch, although it did look a bit like a junk box. Not exactly professional looking. Still telling her how "we" feel. That new show they're pushing looks like a major downer. I think I'll pass. OOOOOKKKKK It's showtime !! Chris H says he's never seen anything like this, although I don't put too much weight in Chris's words. Her hair looks limp, sloppy and even a bit dirty. Not attractive. Well it looks like Blake is getting kicked to the curb. I don't get any satisfaction in being right in who she picked. Poor guy. I prefer Garrett's realistic insecurities to Blake's covering with overconfident statements. He's still doing it: "Nobody can make you as happy as I can." Wipes his nose & eyes on his nice, most likely new, suit jacket? Was he raised by wolves? There, thank God someone gave the guy a nice big towel. Don't rehash her exact wording. You're being dumped. You're only prolonging the hurt & making it worse for yourself. Poor Guy. He's much more humble on stage. Much more likable because of it. He's very gracious too. Well as expected, Garrett proposed. They're showing clips out of order: When they look at the camera & say "we're engaged" he has on the Rose, clear as day. But when they finish kissing - no Rose. Then she asks him to accept the Final Rose. On stage, his apology seemed heartfelt & real, but the word Regret would have been nice to hear. BIP looks like Business As Usual. I don't recognize any of the women. I guess that's what happens when I don't watch the last 2 seasons of The Bachelor. Well Good Luck to Becca & Garrett. It seemed like an awfully long season, but at least we got a happy ending. I do like a happy ending.

I can't recall where I heard or read it, but there was some speculation that there was some religious reasoning that went into her choice. Maybe that her faith was very important to her and she wanted her husband to share that with her? I suppose the show didn't show us, to avoid portraying one of the guys in a way that might not be fair. (Wait, this show?? What am I talking about??! LOL)
