Anyone watching Worst Cooks / That's So 90s? It's been a nice, lazy, fun thing to watch on Sunday nights for me. I didn't watch all the shows that the celebs are from back then, but they are all recognizable enough. Most of their personalities are entertaining enough. And seeing how I can't cook either, I don't judge.

Food truck race-it was funny that the "mac and cheese" truck was so bad that people were throwing it in the trash

I can not wait until they are gone. Many GREAT cooks and teams have gone home but that chunky cheese mess keeps going on. Maybe tonight they will get the boot-cheese boot

Food truck race-it was funny that the "mac and cheese" truck was so bad that people were throwing it in the trash How can you screw up mac and cheese? Wow. It's possible. My sister and I went to a concert last week. There was a mac and cheese food truck that everyone raves about. She chose one for 10$...they put cinnamon sugar on top of the mac and cheese. It was horrible.

Cinnamon and sugar belong nowhere near mac and cheese. Good Lord.

I feel the food truck race was loaded. At the beginning tyler had to show them a cheese sause because their food was getting thrown in the trash.
I have never seen him step in in and do for others
also there just happened to be a gay parade in front of their truck?
They should have been gone by week 3

After all of the sales and challenge winnings were added up, Maybe Cheese Born With It had a total of $5,589 while Señoreata had a total of $9,811. Señoreata wins season 15 of The Great Food Truck Race and the $50,000 prize. They are the first plant-based food truck to win the competition and also won by the greatest margin. www.foodnetworkgossip.com/2022/07/the-great-food-truck-race-season-15.htmlI really think this seaseon was all made up. There were some wonderful unique new types of food dishes this time and the cheese crap should not have been in the final 5 let alone 2nd place.

Watched the first episode of HBC and ooooh, what a joy!
{Spoilers for Tonights Show} This years theme is a Haunted Hotel, and John continues to be marvelous and spooky as the concierge. The first challenge was getting a body part that belongd to a person (a bride's arm, a rich woman's torso, young boy's foot, for example) and they had to create a pie with the face of the "person" they got. It was a lot of fun! The second challenge was to create a sponge cake based on different types of blood spatter and create a story around it. One contestant's cake was so good, it literally melted in the judges mouths, lol. Instead of "going back to the lake" like last season this year the loser gets to go on the elevator to the 13th floor--where they don't return.
So far, so good. I love Stephanie, Carla, and Zac together as judges.

I really enjoyed the show but fell asleep before the end. Who went home? I have my suspicions.

Was his name AJ? I think he was the home baker. He was the one that made the pink cake that looked like a drip cake with the chocolate dagger , if you got that far.

His colors were weird and the "blood spatter" was just a drip effect. It wasn't totally awful, but the others did so much better.

Halloween Baking Championship
This episode was a lot of fun! It was a homage to Puss n Boots who apparently is a guest at the hotel, lol. The first challenge was to make croquembouche and create a "boot" for Puss, while the second was to create a torte depicting a method of death of one of his nine lives. This time, they decided to shake things up a bit; rather than just voting the lowest scorer off at the end, the person with the lowest score cannot participate in the second challenge. They must wait until after the lowest scorer from the second challenge is announced, and then the two go against each other in one more challenge to see who will stay. I liked the final challenge for the two lowest scorers and like the fact that they had a chance to redeem themselves.

I missed the second hour this week because of Quantum Leap! It was a good episode though.

The third challenge was each judge picking a dessert that they would want for their last meal on death row (or something like that). In addition, the dessert had to have a design based on their costumes, so there were two things to consider. The two contestants got to pick which one they wanted.

Halloween Baking Championship:
They are still shaking things up on the show, and I love it! This week, both challenges got combined together in both a group and individual challenge. The group challenge was to create a maze cake based on the grounds of the hotel. In addition, each baker had to make a individual dessert they were judged on. This turned out to be a good tactic because sometimes one person is really good while their partner isn't and this enabled the judges to see them on their own merits. They are really trimming the fat because two people got sent home this week.

It looked liked a haunted, evil and scary maze!

I like how they're doing the challenges this year, also. Glad Alexei (sp?) didn't go home, I enjoy his accent. There are several really good bakers this season, I haven't picked a favorite yet.

HBC - I loved the "moldy" desserts. So gross. And the judges' costumes, whoever does them really comes up with some good stuff. Sad about Maricsa, I don't remember her messing anything up until last night. I was thinking she'd be top five, at least.
