I believe Gage had a dinner date with his trainer after having moved out of the house and into a hotel. He now has an apartment. I don't think things are boding well for a reconciliation. Especially with Jeff broadcasting every bit that has happened since the breakup. Plus, Jeff did so much damage to the relationship prior to the breakup. I think Gage has just "had it" with Jeff.

I’m so sick of him airing their personal business I’m not even clicking the link. I’ll say this: I have never liked Gage. I feel like he was a driving force behind Jeff & Zoila’s rocky relationship the last few seasons she was working for Jeff. He also seems to always take joy when other people get in trouble with Jeff. It’s so weird.
That being said: Jeff has got to be difficult to live with. I couldn’t do it. We see how hard he is to work for, so imagine living with someone who is impossible to please. How many nannies have they gone through? I know it’s been several, by Jeff’s own admission on the show. I would stake my life it was because of his unrealistic expectations. That’s not healthy for Monroe. That can cause emotional distress for her, because she more than likely developed attachments to these people. Gage is definitely more fatherly than Jeff. It was obvious that he was more of a caregiver than Jeff. And now, he’s gone from her daily life.
Think about all the people who Jeff has a falling out with (aside from Jenny’s first husband), going all the way back to Ryan. And however many we don’t even know about. Jeff reacts very emotionally & usually later regrets it. He’s ruined many personal relationships with speaking in anger from an emotional place. This doesn’t bode well for Monroe. She’ll either grow up where she can do no wrong in Jeff’s eyes, or nothing will ever quite be good enough for him. Neither scenario is good.
If Jeff doesn’t change his ways (& I doubt he will at 48-49 y/o), he’s gonna end up an old bitter man who no one really cares to be around, like his grandmother.
The one thing I really like about Jeff is his sense of humor & obviously his talent, but he has let his angry side take over, & it’s not a good look.

I've never seen Flipping Out but I listen to his radio show and it always gives me a good laugh. They went on 3 dates and he mentioned on the radio that he didn't like the restaurant the guy took him to. It's been fun listening to his dating life.

Jeff quite frankly is a GIANT P.I.T.A. but he is a genius with home interior design and home construction. As far as the break-up .... all I can think is that Gage must have been so incredibly unhappy because to leave MONROE had to have devastated him.

They come across as almost clinical they are so cold and flavorless to me, but to each their own. Anyway, reportedly they still work together and are both spending time with Monroe together so it probably is more so Gage can have a place to go to to have a private life when need be, but yes I a sure it was hard for him.

Gage must be devastated to miss his daily interactions with Monroe. He should have custody of her. I've loved the show because Jeff is amusing. But his design sense, not so much. I'm not into grey.

But JL messed that relationship up and RB left him and started his own Design business. He is doing quite well. His link is above. Actually, it was when Ryan decided to open his own business office that things soured. Ryan decided to capitalize upon the show's success by establishing his own design business and, as part of the deal, Ryan created a website for Jeff. Jeff hit the roof when he realized Ryan created Jeff's site on a dot tv instead of a dot com domain and on Ryan's site implied Ryan was the creative side and Jeff only a project manager for their joint projects, which, in fact, wasn't true. IMO Ryan, who has a degree in interior design, was intentionally slighting Jeff as a designer. When Flipping Out began, Jeff and Ryan were flippers and not designing for others. Their business partnership was limited to the certain properties purchased together and as I recall, it was Jeff that introduced Ryan into the business. When the economy tanked, Jeff and Ryan stopped flipping (together and independently) and begin working for others which is when the dispute between the two came to a head. However, within a year or so, they made up and continue to be friends. Regarding design styles, I much prefer Jeff's to Ryan, but that's just my taste. I find that Jeff has a cleaner style, constrains himself much more to period and design element specific and Ryan's design aesthetic is more cluttered (lived in) and mixes it up.

Jeff Lewis Reveals What's 'Not Working Out' in Parental Custody Agreement with Ex Gage Edward"Jeff Lewis said Tuesday on his SiriusXM show that he and ex Gage Edward "need to have some sort of schedule" for visits with their daughter Monroe, 2½ By JEN JUNEAU May 01, 2019 05:25 PM Like many former couples, Jeff Lewis and Gage Edward are still figuring out how to undo the knots in the complicated ropes of co-parenting. “This open-door visitation policy is not working out,” the Flipping Out star said on Tuesday’s episode of his SiriusXM show Jeff Lewis Live, about his and his ex’s shared custody of their 2½-year-old daughter Monroe Christine. “I did say to Gage yesterday, moving forward, we need to have some sort of schedule. I said, ‘I know that our schedules change weekly, but how about Sundays we go over the week ahead of time?’ ” added Lewis, 49. “I don’t necessarily want to be there when he’s there all the time.” “So I said, ‘Let’s go over the week. We’ll go over when you want to see [Monroe], when I want to see her.’ I said, ‘You’re not coming over twice a day anymore. That’s just not realistic,’ ” continued the father of one. “I’m not saying he cannot see her twice a day but, for example, I go to New York today. He’s going to stay at the house for four days. So he’s got her for four straight days.” “Then [Gage] said to me, ‘Can I come over Saturday morning?’ ” Lewis recalled. “I said, ‘Just know, the last time I’m going to see Monroe is Monday night. I will not see her Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. I do not see her until Friday evening. It would be nice if I could have alone time with her on Friday evening, Saturday morning.’ “ “And he was reasonable. He said, ‘I get that,’ ” the host continued of his ex. “I said, ‘It’s hard for me to take these trips for this long.’ “ Edward and Lewis never officially tied the knot, but were together for 10 years and welcomed their daughter via surrogate in October 2016. The longtime partners officially broke things off in February. “Right now, it’s good. We’re having a conversation,” Lewis shared of the former couple’s custody situation on Tuesday. “I don’t think we need attorneys at this point. He understands now that we do need some structure. It has to change weekly. We’re probably going to get there.” Lewis and Edward’s common ground when it comes to their daughter is one thing, but they are still dealing with some emotional fallout from their relationship. “On Sunday morning, he came to see the baby and he was cold to me, really pissy. And that’s when I was like, ‘Your energy’s affecting me.’ I lived with that for 10 years,” Lewis alleged on the show. “I miss a lot about Gage, but the one thing I don’t miss is the dramatic mood swings and wondering what’s going on.” “And, by the way, no communication, because I sent him a text and said, ‘Is everything okay? You seemed really, really upset.’ And of course, no response. That’s familiar!” he added. “I don’t want to deal with that s— anymore. Let the new boyfriend deal with the f—ing mood swings because I am done. I am retired from the new mood swings.”"

I honestly don't understand people. I don't understand how mashing issues out publicly will help anything.

My heart breaks for Monroe that her dads are so self-obsessed that they will allow all this to be aired out publicly instead of putting her first and working it out behind the scenes. There's little doubt in my mind that couples that split in what appeared to be cleaner ways - Chaning Tatum and Jenna Dewan ... Anna Farris and Chris Pratt ... etc - likely had many of these same issues. But they kept them quiet because that's what grownups who put their children above all else do!

from within the DailyMail piece, "Gage, 35, wants to alter their three-year-old daughter's name from Monroe Christine Lewis to Monroe Christine Edward Lewis." Here's the rub. Gage's legal name is Gage Edward Fredenburg. Edward is his middle name and "Gage Edward" is Gage's stage name.

Jeff comes across as a self absorbed narcissistic idiot playing the victim card. Probably, except for the victim card part for which I'm not in agreement with at all, but I love watching him as much as I did when first discovering him on Bravo. Edited to add ... Bearcata, I neglected to mentioned that I find Hollywood Houselift more enjoyable than the later seasons of Flipping Out. In case that matters ...

I give credit to anyone that can be successful in the flipping business and it looks as if Jeff expanded his brand however he seems to be an incredibly difficult person to be around and it is all about me me me. Making crappy comments about his surrogate's vagina as she is about to birth his daughter out loud knowing there is a camera and sound engineer to record it is low and insulting and just plain mean. He can't have children without one. When the surrogate got upset he acts the victim and acts as if he is the one betrayed. Really? Is he that stupid or that smart to have staged it all?

Raising my hand as someone that is really enjoying the show!!! I think I heard JL mention the possibility of 3 seasons!!! I love what he did with Wilmer V's home, Evan Ross' home is coming along nicely as is Anthony Anderson's home. Sooooo sad about Mira Sorvino's home.....hit badly by the Woolsey fire. I have never heard of that comedian Fortune but I did like all the landscaping Jeff did for her. Melissa Rivers......$150,000.00 on one bathroom.......
