Fredrick and his assistant are having lunch at one of my favorite spots in my neighborhood. I was thinking it looked just like Anejo....finally they showed the sign. I LOVE that place!

So, we now know Ryan and Emelia are trying to become parents and that the current episodes were filmed months ago. I'm praying it all works out for them. Has anyone heard any news about this yet?

That brownstone he bought was HUGE for just two people. How will they furnish and clean that place? I'm really shocked because I've seen much nicer places on the show in better areas.

I've watched this show from the very first episode and really loved it . . . until now. I guess I'm just 'over' the multi-gazillion dollar properties!!! And Ryan's 'billion dollar' listing. Oh geez, just gag me!!! Don't get me wrong. I love all of the guys (and I miss Luis!) and I really enjoyed the show when the properties were much lower in price and more attainable. Now, I just glaze over each new one, as it's shown on the air. But Bravo could win me back very easily, by showing way more of the guys' private lives, and less of their real estate deals. I'm waaaaay more interested in Ryan and Emelia trying to have a baby (and re-doing the new Brooklyn home they just bought), and life with Fredrik and Derek and those adorable twins (and Derek's son), and Steve's romances and day to day life. THAT, to me, would be a GREAT show!!!  |

This show was never about cheap properties. Unlike, say, the Property Brothers (who started out with reasonably priced homes only to switch to mostly 800k+ homes) this show has always showcased expensive NY properties. And over the years NY real estate has unfortunately gotten more and more expensive. I like that they show a good mix of housing stock and is always interesting.

And since NYC is flush (I would say overwhelmed) with super lux properties, I like to see how they are struggling to find buyers. I haven't really liked a lot of the recent properties however, very modern and cold.

I've been watching this marathon all morning and I'm not sure if they're new episodes or not but....oh my goodness, the BABIES! They're like 6 months old and ADORABLE! Frederick and his husband are awesome parents.

OMG!!!!!! Just saw on Ryan's Instagram that he and Emelia had a baby girl on the 26th!!!! And now Emelia has just posted a photo of her and Ryan with the baby, too.

They didn't give any details, only that the baby is a girl and was born on the 26th. In the pix of them holding the baby, you can't see much of her. On their Instagrams, each of them wrote very heartfelt posts about their journey to getting pregnant and having their daughter. Well worth the read.

So, Ryan has a video on Instagram that shows him carrying a huge stuffed giraffe from the car into a modern-looking high-rise building. He says that he's going to go upstairs and see his baby. This is definitely not the new home in Brooklyn. Have they not moved in yet?

I just read that!! I didn't like him on some of the seasons because he seemed smarmy to me. However, I really liked how he was very honest about his struggle with depression, I though that was very brave of him. So I'm excited to see him again!
