Darcey got engaged to Georgi after two dates and what seemed like only a few days together in quarantine. Daddy Dearest needs to cut his middle-aged daughters off financially. He treats them like children, so no wonder they marry such young guys. Where did Georgi get the money for that huge diamond ring? He's an unemployed masseur. ....with a wife

They should have shown Georgi presenting her with a Neil Lane ring like on the Bachelor.

This show is far too tacky (although the case could be made that the Bachelor franchise lacks class, too, especially recently). In Darcey's dubious defense, she hasn't been engaged before on this show (at least as long as I've been watching). Jesse gave her a "promise ring," and Tom gave her a key to his house. Maybe her dad gave Georgi the money for the ring.

Yes, she has big fake boobs and big fake lips, but they're expensive and she likes expensive things...clothes, shoes, purses, etc. That's why I can't see her being happy with a cheap cubic zirconia engagement ring.

The Other Way is such a mess.
No only does Devin tell his boss he is a criminal but then talks to his friends about Jihoon’s business. Let’s go thru her phone. After all that they are going to have another wedding.
Ari is a basket case. Yes hormones have a play in this but they knew she was going to have a boy why not have this figure this out before hand. Plus she is Jewish they do this. She did say her family also wanted her to do this. Never once said our baby either always my baby. I think she is going to run home at some point.
Cheese stick I ff though that.

I'm getting caught up. This is getting crazy, even for this show. I was at the part where Yazan's dad said that he will do an honor killing of Yazan if he marries Brittany, for embarrassing the family.

Cheese stick I ff though that. That is no joke! I am not certain any of them can make it long term. They generally seem completely unprepared to move to their new country. I caught HEA strikes back last night and Elizabeth seems like she's more prepared than most of them who are moving. She's taking the time to learn Andrei's language, and she is generally very respectful of their culture, in contrast to her family who weren't at all. Oh, Tim is learning the language but he and Mylesa (Myleza?) have whole heap of other problems. Deaven is all kinds of inappropriate. I can't imagine going to work with my spouse and asking all those questions. That was super strange. Then asking his friends that she just met the questions she asked them - out of control! Is she even trying to learn Korean? It hasn't appeared so, but that could be just editing. SMH at both Ari and Jenny wanting their guys to stay home with them because they don't feel safe and can't get around without them. They should have considered that before moving halfway around the world. Those guys need to be able to work! Yazan and Brittany deserve each other, but they should not stay together. They have no business together. Brittany has obviously not bothered to learn anything about the culture of the place she's planning on moving to. She expects Yazan to act completely contrary to his culture. Conversely he expects her to adopt everything about his culture and his religion. They're both living in a weird dreamland. While I realize that Yazan has given up much to be with Brittany, I'm not sure how he's decided she has made no sacrifices to be with him when she's literally uprooting her life and moving to a new county far away from all family, friends, and everything she knows. I do feel bad for him that his dad would most likely kill him if he marries Brittany. What a horrible way to live - in fear of your life from the very people who should be doing the most to love and protect you. I really didn't know what I think about Jenny and Sumit. I think they do love each other. I have never heard, is there a reason he can't come here? Then they wouldn't need his parents permission to marry. That's a messed up law where as an adult you can't even decide who to marry without your parents being able to prevent it. Also, that's a crazy amount of money to have to pay to get a divorce. How is Sumit ever going to be able to pay his parents back?

I really didn't know what I think about Jenny and Sumit. I think they do love each other. I have never heard, is there a reason he can't come here? According to the latest statistics I could find, there are currently over 284,000 on the waiting list for immigrating from India to the USA. No country can have more than 7% of their waiting list approved in any given year. So it's probably going to be at least 12 years before he could move here AFTER getting his visa approved. For the record, there are over 1,200,000 on the list from Mexico. At 7% approved per year, Armando won't be eligible to legally move here for that same length of time. That's why Kenny moved to Mexico . . . no waiting list there to move into the country.

I think being married puts you higher than just being a random family member, but not sure how much that might help. It can't hurt.

I never commented on the last episode, and I've forgotten much of what happened. However, I did want to say how sweet I thought Jihoon's mom was with Deaven regarding her miscarriage. She really tried to give her love.
I wish they didn't need that stupid translator thing. I think it's terrible for their communication. So much of the time it doesn't get the right words, and I noticed this time that even when it does get the words right the inflection might not be the same, so it's loses its true meaning.

All the American women on this show should cut their losses and go home, especially Jenny. Sumit is an idiot. They finally found a way to get married without his parents' approval, but he keeps trying to get them on board anyway. He lets Jenny down over and over, and I really don't believe he didn't know about this alternative way of getting married, as the lawyer said this is what most people there do. Brittany is a fool for trying to stay in a relationship with Yazan. He'll never accept her for who she is. How does she think she'll be able to live in Jordan for the rest of her life when she doesn't want to comply with any of the customs there or what Yazan expects of her? Ariela needs to either decide to trust Biniyam and accept what he does for a living, or go home. She wants support, but she'll never have it in Ethiopia. Tim and Melyza are boring. I FF through their segments.

I also FF through Cheese stick. I also sadly FF through Kenny & Armando. It's not because they are a gay couple it's more Kenny's sense of American entitlement that I find annoying. Shouldn't you have checked if the area in Mexico you were planning on moving to, for lack of a better word, accepting, gay marriage before you committed Armando, Hannah & your life there. Brittany...she has no clue that her self entitlement cold have disastrous results for Yazan. Jenny has got to understand Sumit is and will always be a man-child. How she believes her $600 a month social security is going to support both of them boggles my mind. I am fairly close to Jenny's age. I could not imagine spending the rest of my life living in squalor in a 3rd world nation for the rest of my life. I am sure they are making a few extra bucks from TLC for doing this show, but in all honesty, how much longer are they actually going to be on this show. I can't see them doing Pillow Talk. They are just too boring. Then there is Ari...show of hands...who thinks she is still living in Ethiopia....yeah I thought so....no one.

I forgot I was going to say the same thing about Kenny and Armando. There seems to be some discrepancy between the Constitution there and actual local laws, so maybe Kenny misunderstood, but he should have done more research. The problem with the way this show is filmed is that the relationships are reduced to "one note," which quickly becomes boring. For example, with Cheese Stick and Melyza, everything is about him having cheated and her seeing other men when they were broken up, and now they can't trust each other. Every segment about them is focused on that. With Armando and Kenny, it's all about them not being accepted as a gay couple. Sumit and Jenny ... she's twice his age and wants to get married and he keeps stalling until his parents allow it. And so on for every couple! Interesting that nothing has been said about Ari and Biniyam getting married. His whole family is concerned only about the baby being baptized, and I'm sure her parents are appalled about the way their daughter is living there.

Sumit's parents are coming off as really ignorant, especially his mom. The mom said that there are thousands of women that are better than Jenny, right in front of her. To be against the age difference and how it would be perceived in their culture or whatever is one thing, but there was no need to keep insulting her like that.

Jenny is the one living in fantasy land. She is a 60+ year old woman who is naive enough to honestly believe that $600 a month in social security will be enough to support her & her man-child. The TLC & Cameo monies won't last forever. She is also foolish enough to believe that she will be able to change centuries old traditions and cultures.
She keeps insisting that she knows Sumit will not lie to her. IIRC correctly, their relationship started off on a series of lies. At his age, why does this 40 something not have a thing called a JOB? Of course this is the same man who thought a card on lanyard would protect them from Covid because Jenny is old. Oh my!

I don't watch TFC, especially after watching them on 90DF. Karen loves to use big words, whether she knows what they mean or not. According to Merriam Webster, it means "deprived of some right, privilege, or immunity." Maybe she's afraid her specialness as an American won't be recognized, and she won't be treated with the privilege she thinks she deserves. Filipinos may think she's just there to harvest their Philippine Pesos. Wouldn't THAT be karma???? LOL.
