Hasn't Alyssa already milked her 15 minutes of fame? Away with this group and bring on the next cast of misfit toys!

LOL...Alyssa really thought that the "where are they now" show was going to be her rise from the ashes...got the cowboy...the girls like hanging with her...look at her new clothing "line". Instead she look to be on a PR spin...I really do think she had crisis management sessions. I LOVED that the fact the new guy blew up because he was chatting with her enemy. lol loved it. She didn't look upset that the romance screeched to a halt, she looked angry because he ruined her story line.

I have to give props to the 'format' of this last catch-up show of the season --- I loved that it was an informal get together of the cast, and not a question-answer session with a host. What a delightful ending! I loved it!

How wonderful! Such happy news! This show can be really annoying, and most of the couples drive us a little crazy! But considering that these people are actually marrying someone they have never met before -- when the chemistry works (which it does, for usually one or two couples each season) it's really terrific!

So happy for Amani and Woody! They're easily one of my favorite couples from this series. Any time I get annoyed with the experts, I think about the couples they really got right! They were just a joy from start to finish. I love Karen and Miles too, but I think it was pretty clear that if the filming hadn't been extended due to Covid, they might not have made it. That extra time together saved their marriage. W & A were just about perfect with from the start. I'm still tickled by that moment when Amani says with that little smile that Woody said he loves his wife, "I'm his wife." They're just so cute.
I thought that episode last week was SO contrived. It felt to me like the producers orchestrated the "dates" with Olivia and with Ryan. If we never seen Alyssa again, it'll be too soon. I wasn't Ryan's biggest fan during his season, but OOF, he dodged a bullet! She's nuts. The fact that Chris was already on his IG with a new woman made the thing with Olivia seem silly.
I'm glad Lindsay got some push-back about her behavior. I like her, but she can be MEAN. She can also be so sweet, but she can really turn on a dime and get nasty. She needed to be called out. I hope she sees herself on the show and makes adjustments.
I still don't think Katina and Olajuwon will make it. I think she deserves better. Maybe he's really changed, but I just don't believe it.
MAFS Fan on IG has taken a little vacay from the show to live her life and get married. She'll be back for the next season, hopefully with spoilers!

I deleted that clips episode from my DVR tonight. I can't bear to watch any more of season 14 and, frankly, I thought Briana and Beth were a bit awkward (shades of Jamie Otis) the last time they hosted one of those episodes. I think the producers are overestimating how much of this stuff we want to watch.

I was debating if I care enough to watch. I didn't care last night and from your description it doesn't sound like it's something I'd like.

I don't know if any of you are following Jamie and Doug as they travel the USA in an RV, but their little boy Hendrix had another febrile seizure. This time the beginning of it was filmed and my heart broke watching the fear they were all experiencing.

This time the beginning of it was filmed and my heart broke watching the fear they were all experiencing. I don't care much for Jamie as I feel she's an oversharer who really loves the limelight, but I'm so sorry to hear about her little boy. You mentioned 'another febrile seizure', so I hope the doctors can find out what's wrong and why he has been experiencing them. Unless they already know? I had a febrile seizure as an infant. My parents owned a two family home with my aunt and uncle. Fortunately my uncle was home when it happened and being older than my parents, he knew what to do. He put me in a bathtub and got the fever down. I think there might have been rubbing alcohol involved, but I don't remember, although I heard the story a few times. Many years later my dad stopped at my cousin's house for a cup of coffee while on his truck route, and my cousin's daughter was experiencing the same thing. He was able to 'save' my cousin's child. Throughout her life my cousin Sue always talked about how Uncle Sonny 'saved' her life. Prayers that little Hendrix gets better.

He was fine earlier in the day. The video shows Jamie taking in what is happening and then responding. She wasted no time. Apparently after the video ends his lips turned blue, his skin gray and he was unresponsive.
Hendrix seized from a high fever when he had RSV last year. I don’t believe they know why it happened this time, though.

I forgot momentarily, that Jamie is a registered nurse; her baby is in good hands.

Maybe Jamie overshares about some things, but I think sharing the videos of Hendrix is really important. Jamie, who's a registered nurse didn't have much (any?) experience with febrile seizures and I'm sure that made it even scarier when it happened the first time. She probably has a lot of moms who follow her, so she's trying to get the word out.
I watched the video and when Doug told her that the nearest hospital was 27 miles away, my heart sank. I can't imagine how terrifying that would be.

I don’t believe they know why it happened this time, though. IIRC, Jamie had a really dysfunctional and painful childhood, so for me, I give her a pass for some of her resulting personality traits. But regarding her little boy's seizures, wow, that's really scary! Yes, Jamie's an RN, but when it's your very own child, somehow that doesn't always help much. I'm an RN and whenever my kids were seriously injured, my RN training pretty much went right out the window! Prayers for Doug and Jamie and their families!

I can't imagine how terrifying that would be. The first seizure he had was when he had RSV with a very high temp; it was determined by presumption because she had witnessed and reacted to symptoms most parents would've ignored and took him to the hospital. If I am not mistaken, her recount of what she saw was why they kept him, and while they had him he had another. Not 100% sure but that was my interpretation. In this case (early June), she clearly determined he was about to seize. So I'd say throughout she has had all the experience needed to care for him, as a mom and a nurse. Even her demeanor with her daughter was both motherly, and professional.

I am a retired RN and you are right about your training going out the door when it occurs to one of your children. I guess motherhood comes first always.

"DeVon Franklin is a Hollywood producer, author, preacher, and motivational speaker." "Dr. Pia Holec is a renowned psychotherapist who specializes in sex and couples therapy."

I did not see it from the beginning. Must have missed that info. Thanks Critical

I didn't even know that the matchmaking special had aired. Luckily, my DVR knew I'm watching it right now. Maybe they cast the couples before they hired the two new experts? Seems like an odd choice, because then what purpose do the new experts serve? Cleaning up the mess after the weddings? I'm always amazed at the guys (and sorry, it's usually guys), who recite the laundry list of the physical attributes they want in a woman. They should probably just order one of those realistic sex dolls instead. Every time they do the home visits and an expert digs through the ladies' lingerie drawers, I cringe. I'd be putting a LOCK on that drawer. MYOB, lady!

By the preview of the couples after they were married,it already looks like there will be big trouble ahead.

This is when all of the spouses look relatively normal and drama-free - before they get married and we see the masks (and the gloves!) come off! So far, there's no one who's already pinging my psycho radar, which is a change from the last few seasons. I was a bit surprised they chose Nate. IIRC, he was the guy who gave the list of all the physical attributes he was looking for and I thought Stacia was the one who didn't want to be judged for her looks. THAT seems like a smart pairing Plus, wasn't he the one who wanted sex FOUR times a day? Yeesh.

Given how badly things went last season, which just ended, you would have thought they’d have been busy helping their couples to make better connections or handle their issues better so they’d have a chance for a reasonable relationship. But instead they’re scurrying around selecting a whole new group of victims. I wish they would work more with current couples so we could see personal growth for them rather then just moving on.
