Since tonight is the Decision Day episode, MAFS Fan posted updated spoilers. {Spoiler} NONE of the couples are together today! Apparently, both Lindy and Miguel and Stacia and Nate, who all say yes on Decision Day (in April) and who are still together at the reunion special in August, break up sometime after that. SO, another season with no successful marriages Throughout this season, it's clear these matches weren't great. We saw the experts less than we ever have. I don't know if that's a result of the show being filmed on the West coast and maybe them living on the East coast As much as I like Pastor Cal and Dr. Pepper as people, I think they need to go. We need new experts who have fresh eyes. Hey, I know, how about an actual matchmaker!? Couldn't hurt. Might help.
They made such a big fuss over those two new experts and we hardly saw them. They need new and more hands on experts to help these people. This season, more than any previous season, it's felt very much like they just wound these folks up and let them go.

Well no surprise there.
Krysten would have left that door open a long time but felt sorry for Mitch when they were so hard on him. They all made there choice that was his. They didn’t even ask him what he said. Lindsey didn’t need to keep saying lock the door. I’m surprised they were still together.
I think Justin could tell she wasn’t into it and that’s why he kept asking. She should have said no to begin with.
The reunion looks fun. What the heck is with Justin saying Nate was hitting on him. Need some back story. The rest have to wait and see previews are deceiving.

Need some back story. The rest have to wait and see previews are deceiving. He's also convinced that he's some kind of sex god, with scores of women throwing themselves at him and we know that's a big bag of bs. I think he's full of it. It looks like, based on that preview, that Binh has realized he confided in the exact wrong person. I wonder if that marriage might have worked out without Justin's interference. Probably not, but I'm sure Binh (if not Morgan) is wondering and regretting his choices.
We know Justin got his dog back, but I wonder if her behavioral issues have been resolved. He acts like he's the victim, but that dog as attacked three dogs that we know of (one before the marriage, Alexis' dog and then a third dog at the facility he took her to for training). Some dogs are more high strung and reactive, but he's responsible for training his dog and making sure she's not harming anyone else's pet. To not do so is irresponsible.
I was so proud of Krysten for knowing her worth. I don't get why she would want ANY door with Mitch to still be open, but I'm at least happy that she said no on D Day.

Somehow, I missed what connection Binh had with Justin's marriage problems?

Why are the reunion shows so long. I didn’t need to see more of the same clips. I ff through them.
Was surprised that Miguel and Lindy are still together.
What the heck was with Justin, at first I thought he was back with Alexa when she was calming him down.
I’m pretty sure Krysten would have said yes if asked first. They weren’t a good match . I can’t figure out why they are giving Mitch a hard time still for saying no. He wasn’t telling the sister he wanted her to change he was trying to say he liked her with no make up. Just came out wrong.

Yeah, there is a lot of filler to fast forward through. Justin is not as great as he thinks he is. Obviously immature if he keeps un-following, then re-following everybody. Binh made a mistake confiding in Justin. I still don't think he and Morgan were a good match but maybe it would have gone a little better without Justin's input. nicksmom I dint think they're giving Mitch a hard time about saying no, but about how he treated Krysten. He wasn't just saying he preferred her with no makeup, he was asking her sister to give him ideas about how to tell her to wear less makeup so she would fit into his ideal better. He did want her to change. That on top of telling her he wasn't attracted to her in the beginning. I think the other women said they were trying to get Krysten to realize she needed to close the door, not leave it ajar. She's worth the wait for someone who doesn't want to change so much about her.

Justin was just a creepy nightmare! I saw that from Ep. 1. How could these "experts" not get a clue! They spent a lot of time with him. Mitch too! Whose 'expertise' latched on to him as a social experiment winner? This is becoming tiresome. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

I'd add delusional. I mean, not only does he think every woman is after him because he's tall, he thinks he's a sex god AND that Nate hit on him. I don't know where he got that attitude, but it's ridiculous. IMO, he clearly the least attractive of the husbands this season, by a longshot....and that's before he opens his mouth. He also seems to think he's Mike Tyson. I'd bet every one of the husbands could drop him with one punch. Okay, maybe not Mitch, but the other guys, for sure
Alexis isn't perfect, but by the end, it seemed like she was driven crazy by being around Justin.
ITA - I don't think Morgan and Binh would have worked out, but I definitely think their road wouldn't have been nearly as rocky if Justin hadn't been in the middle of it. Kudos, though, to Alexis for stepping in and letting Morgan know what was going on.
It made me sad that Krysten was even considering leaving the door open for Mitch. It just shows how woman are conditioned to expect crumbs from any man. She's way out of his league. He should have been kissing her feet.
I can't believe we have two more weeks of this nonsense. Part 2 of the reunion and then the where are they now episode. I think it's going to be a sh!tshow....even more than it has been

I was glad Alexis told Morgan too. I thought it was the right thing to do but all the guys were belittling her on the aftershow. They really didn't like her and were blaming her for the problems between Binh and Morgan!! I think it explains why they called her the biggest gossip at the weekend retreat. Somehow those guys thought what she did was wrong... not that Binh shouldn't have been talking to Justin all while swearing he wasn't to Morgan, or that Justin shouldn't have had the conversations on speakerphone. I was glad Kevin addressed that aspect a little during the reunion. I was also glad to hear Morgan admit that Binh did need an outlet and it was okay for him to talk to someone. I don't think she originally believed that. I did find it telling that Binh said he shouldn't have consulted Justin. I'm not sure this season had any good choices for Binh to consult, but definitely Justin wasn't the right choice!

I'm not sure this season had any good choices for Binh to consult, but definitely Justin wasn't the right choice! It was either Morgan or someone else who did talk about how it was fine if he, or any of the other spouses, talked to someone or needed advice. The issue was when the person they went to was another spouse vs. someone who wasn't involved in the experiment. I don't think she would have had an issue if he'd gone to a friend or family member. The problem was that he went to Justin - who put it on speaker phone, so Alexis heard too - another person(s) involved in the experiment. We KNOW that isn't a closed loop, so-to-speak. If one other person knows, they ALL know.
There's a cliche about women being gossips, but in my experience, MEN are the worst gossips! They just don't think what they're doing is gossiping.
That body language from Stacia was not good. That whole time with Justin and Nate beefing, she just sat there like a stone. It was odd. Maybe she just shuts down when there's a physical conflict like that

Katina and Olajuwon have announced on Instagram they are divorcing No surprise! My thoughts exactly! I was surprised they stayed together in the first place. Maybe she got tired of cooking the cleaning and trying to be a Stepford wife.
I think the Where Are They Now? episode next week is going to be crazy. I miss the seasons when these people really worked to make their marriages work.
I watched the new Lindsay Lohan Christmas movie on Netflix last night and there was Iris (s9, CHarlotte) in a scene at the end! She had a few lines as part of a couple who'd stayed at the inn in the movie.

I can't believe I tortured myself by watching that Where Are The Now? special. Overall, these matches were terrible.
I like that Bihn and Morgan seem to be on good terms and that he's really working on himself. I think they're both good people who clearly were not ready to get married.
Justin is the worst. If I was Alexis, I would have walked as soon as he told me to shut up. He's clearly a deeply insecure person who can't handle even the slightest bit of criticism.
I don't think the next season is going to be any better, based on the previews at least. IMO, they need to get rid of Pastor Cal and Dr. Pepper and get new experts. This isn't working. Obviously, there are exceptions, but many of these people are just really nice people who've been matched with the wrong partner.

It was kind of terrible to watch so I couldn't bring myself to watch the special that aired after 'Where are they now?' Justin is too much. Very telling that he told Alexis to shut up. Then he accepted her unnecessary apology but didn't offer one in return... even after he apologized to everyone else! Dude, clue for you, if you have to apologize to everyone in your vicinity then you have deep problems so quit blaming your ex-wife. Not that I believed that Nate came on to him, but why make that up? It was so random and weird. Especially since he turned around and admitted it wasn't true. What is up with Mitch telling him to take the high road as if he didn't do anything wrong. Mitch wasn't without his many instances where he was less than kind to Krysten and then claiming he was taking the high road. He doesn't belong on that high road any more than Justin does!

Totally agree with your assessment, justCoz ! Except that I guess I'm one of the few people who really enjoyed the Where Are They Now special. I especially liked the more natural format as opposed to the Tell All question/answer type format with a moderator. And I'm wondering what episode you're referring to when you mentioned the special that aired after "Where are they now." I saw only 3 specials listed: Part 1 and 2 of the reunions and Where are they now. Was there a 4th special?

I can see why you would like the more natural format.

I've just about finished season 3. Blind or no, people just don't know what or who they want. I don't know why they make them show up at the alter all decked out with family and friends present, just to say no to the other person!

Based on the preview they showed at the end of the matchmaking episode and MAFS Fan on IG, one of the husbands propositions one of the other wives. I'm not putting that in spoiler tags because it was apparently implied in the preview AND no one was named. We know the previews are always hugely misleading. Wasn't there a guy who hadn't given up his player card? Was he one of the ones who got picked? Maybe Airris? After FOUR hours of that the other night, it's a bit of a blur.
They usually all seem fairly normal at the beginning, but I'm getting a whiff of crazy from Nichole.
I like Shaquille, but I'm not sure he and Kirsten will be a good match. She seems VERY high maintenance and princess-y. I agree with whoever on the Kevin Fraser-hosted special: Clint seems like Mitch 2.0.

I think the guy who admitted still holding his player card was a hard no for Pastor Cal, but I wasn't paying a ton of attention I thought I remembered it was a different guy, but I also thought Airris admitted to being a player. All of these people tend to blend together after a while!
After several terrible seasons of bad matches, I don't have much faith in this season.

Chris seems like a very nice guy, but so far I feel bad for him that he'll be married to the Italian drama queen, who comes off very annoying.
Airris is a huge question mark. But, I'm not too sure about his fiancé either.
So far I like Shaq too, but he's going to have his hands full with the 7-8" woman too.
So this is the most shocking or dramatic season ever (something like that), they said. I wish they'd match for actual compatibility instead of apparent TV value.

I think they believe it's boring but my favorites to watch are the ones like Danielle and Bobby, or Ashley and Anthony. I want to see a real love story unfolding with much less drama. I do not like watching the ones who are so terrible. It seems like some of the sweetest, most genuine people are the ones they pair with terrible choices who could never be right for them.
