I want Amber to get her happily ever after. She needs a different type of guy....maybe someone who does not go to the gym. I think Dave is destined to be an old bachelor. I am rooting for Amber too; she seemed to realize her insecurities were a problem in her marriage. I give her props for still wanting to work on the marriage. Dave still won"t admit he needed to cut Amber some slack about Amber dating the gym acquaintance. He was pretty defiant when Dr. Pepper told him everyone, especially at their ages, has a past and just would not own it. Amber was right when she said that the marriage was doomed b/c Dave could not get past this issue and sincerely hope she meets someone who makes her feel special and "good enough." Congratulations to Danielle and Bobby.

Final Thoughts: Mia & Tristan = Hot Mess. I never once thought they would stay together. Dave & Amber = I think if they had different partners they would've been successful. I think they're both nice, good people. Just not good for each other. I called Dave a jerk a lot this season, and he has been, in relation to Amber. But I still think he's a good guy. They were just not good for each other. I agree with all those above me rooting for Amber. I would want to be her friend, and to me that's the biggest endorsement of a person's character. I'm happy they put Dave in the hot seat a bunch tonight Bobby & Danielle = schmoopy still. Their body language speaks volumes. They're always touching each other and open to each other. They (Danielle) have not been the most articulate couple to the cameras this season, but I am super happy for their happiness. I love that Tristan hugged them both and all their other friends just sat there.

As soon as she got falling down and vomiting druI'nk at her bachelorette party (and is 35+), she became someone I'd never be friends with. IMO, that's college behavior. I think she's wildly immature, at least emotionally. I think Dave would be happier with someone who wasn't so crushingly insecure. Dave has his flaws for sure, but her lack of self esteem was probably the biggest problem in the marriage.
I deleted the finale off my DVR. I don't even care about watching it. This season was a dud
While we did have one success story, I found Bobby and Danielle as dull as toast. I'm glad they're happy and doing well, but I don't necessarily want to see them on my TV again. Now watch, they're on that pregnancy show with the other two pregnant MAFS couples

He never respected or cared for her once he found out she slept with someone he knew. And in the back of her head she knew this. I'm going to say I'm very disappointed that the experts seemed checked out this season. It has led to more and more disastrous relationships and they really need to change that part back.

Dave was getting as much sex as he could while he could. I see loner qualities in him. Dave really needed a robot who could ignore his jabs.
Maybe Amber was really frightened--the bachelorette party drunkeness. We didn't see other overly weird behavior. Maybe her inner self knew this was not going to be a love story.
Different people have different fears. She owned up to mistakes at different points. That is a good quality. Mr. Right could be in Amber's near future...hope for it anyway

I thought it was interesting that the experts recommended that Amber and Dave change gyms, since the friend of Dave's that Amber formerly dated also attended, and they chose not to take the advice!

And that Amber was the one who said no to changing gyms, while Dave would have changed. I don't think he respected her. On the other hand, I would have a hard time dealing with all her insecurities. Frankly, if someone moved out on me while I was away and without telling me beforehand, I'm fairly certain that any shred of trust I had would be gone and I would do the same thing as Dave - been all the way done with the marriage. Surely his feelings were deeper than just knowing that guy she dated, at least I hope it was deeper than that. I wonder what he said about her to Dave that it changed his whole perspective on her.

Was anyone as shocked as I was when Amber said, "What? What about me?" and looked totally shocked when Danielle announced her pregnancy?

Was anyone as shocked as I was when Amber said, "What? What about me?" and looked totally shocked when Danielle announced her pregnancy? I read about it online I only watch up to right before Bobby and Danielle came in. I will say I'm not surprised that was Amber's plan from the beginning coming on the show she wanted to get married and pregnant. I also don't feel her and Danielle are that close personally (she seems much closer to Mia) and Danielle seems to have gotten her dream situation. It's kind of not surprising to hear at all.

Was anyone as shocked as I was when Amber said, "What? What about me?" and looked totally shocked when Danielle announced her pregnancy? That wasn't Amber's finest moment. Tristan was the only one of the 4 who actually got up to hug Bobby and Danielle and congratulate them. I think Mia, Dave, and Amber should have been a lot more effusive.

Was anyone as shocked as I was when Amber said, "What? What about me?" and looked totally shocked when Danielle announced her pregnancy? I was embarrassed. What an unattractive, selfish moment caught on camera for everyone to see. It's probably natural to think that, considering her circumstances, but to vocalize it, and on TV? yikes. She had been doing so well, owning her insecurities and wanting to work on things. Then that raw moment revealed so much. What a shame. I had to FF almost all of Mia and Tristan. I can't stand either of them. The boring sweet couple is doing well, and that's great. Pregnant too and that's nice. But I have no real desire to follow them or their story from here on out, even though I wish them well.

I could not stand Tristan smirking the whole time Mia or the experts were speaking. I can't stand that guy. I just don't think Dave was all that into Amber at any point during this process. Seemed to be he was ready for divorce after the honeymoon. I am happy for Danielle and will be watching the spinoff.

IRL, it's nice to be in a happy and drama-free relationship, but it doesn't really make for exciting TV. I mean, I don't want to see people fighting all the time, but those two are just sort of vanilla. There's no spark.
Not surprised at Amber's snide comment. She's always struck me as someone with a big ego and low self-esteem. Dave isn't the most sensitive guy, but I don't think he'd have as much trouble in a relationship with someone who wasn't so wildly insecure. There are only so many times you can reassure someone before it just gets tiresome.
I am looking forward to the baby show. I like both Ashley and Anthony, and Shawniece and Jephte.

I didn't watch the decision show but did watch the finale.
mindy Cohen and jay-z ' s little brother - neither should have been on this show.
Dave and amber- I feel she would have been okay with someone different. I think Dave is a confirmed old bachelor . He will be critical bcI rthink deep down he is afraid. I don't think either should have been on the show because neither were remotely ready for marriage .

Nope, no ambiguity there! Good for them. I like them both and hope they're happy.
I wonder what Molly's reaction was to this relationship. She probably swallowed her tongue or something....or, since she's so cold, she had NO reaction.

I don't think she could say too much she was already in a relationship by the Finale air date and I don't think J&J didn't start till after that because he was still single. Also apparently because people keep posting how inappropriate it is, she was never a doctor and he was never a patient. He quoted his MAFS contract in a response in the comments and said that their relationship on the show cannot be that of doctor patient relationship. Which make sense for them being able to do the show and show some of their conversations. And how they can all still be friends after the show is over (or more).

Molly likes being in pictures. She could be telling him how gross she thinks he is when the cameras go away.

I just meant that she's so nasty that she's probably be rude about John and Jessica's relationship. She strikes me as someone who can't be happy for anyone. J&J have been pretty clear in response to criticisms about their relationship. They're both smart and did lots of investigating about their respective contracts with the show before they started dating, just to make sure they weren't going to get into legal trouble AND that it wouldn't cause problems for Jessica professionally.
If Molly's dating David, then that's good for any other singles out there. David is horrible too, so they deserve each other. IMO, it's more likely that those two are just trying to get a little attention.

So we were right in speculating that "something was up" between Shawniece and Jephte a few months ago, as they revealed last night that they did separate for several weeks during her pregnancy.

IMO, those pictures don’t necessarily mean anything.

I guess this is where we post for MAFS Happily ever after.
I guess romance can be traumatic no matter how is plays out. Jefte blamed his bad behavior on feeling bad about what people were saying about him. Well he did not treat Shawniece very well in the first couple of weeks. I would feel so bad for her. Aside from having the baby, perhaps something good will come out of the deal for her. I do not think Jefte can change. Whatever kept him from committing prior to the tv show seems to still be in effect. He is just absorbing tv attention now.

I will have to add it to the DVR lineup.

We've had 2 episodes of Happily Ever After so far, airing on Tuesday nights. I was sad to hear the Shawniece/Jephte separation confirmed and that after they did get back together, Shawniece found that Jephte had gotten condoms during their time apart. She had said that she wanted a divorce, though, and Jephte said he was trying to find himself and get his old life back. Still, sad...

I still think Shawniece and Jephte might not make it. He seems to have moments where he's able to act like an adult who can communicate with his wife, and then he quickly switches that off and goes back to being closed off and childish.
Yep, there's a blow-up with Bobby and Danielle on the horizon. She treats him like a servant and he's just getting scraps from her. He's trying so hard to accommodate her in every way and she gives him nothing in return. Those "10" ratings are a total facade. At a certain point - and I think it's going to happen soon - he's going to lose it.
Ashley can be a little brash at times, but that's far healthier than the way Danielle holds everything in.
