The official portraits are here! www.google.com/amp/s/www.cnn.com/style/amp/royal-wedding-official-photographs-intl/index.htmlI’m posting this on my phone from bed in the fetal position. I tweaked my back and this is the only position that doesn’t hurt. Maybe someone who’s more upright can post the actual photos. I think the one with the kids is my favorite. Prince George is adorable. In all of them Harry looks like the cat that ate the canary. Nice to see him so happy! ETA: Ha! Miss Griss - JINX! Buy me a Coke!

I love the photos. I think I'm getting obsessed and will need to back away.
Today I watched both the ABC and PBS (BBC ITV) coverage (I had watched all 9-10 hours of CNN in real time) and believe I enjoyed the PBS coverage the best. The British presenters interviewed the charity people, etc. and it was more interesting since it was on their home turf, so to speak. They did have one American commentator on board toward the end and that was Meredith Viera. This one I'm saving...at least until my cable box blows up. 8D

I watched the PBS one yesterday, having watched ABC on the day. I liked the PBS one for the same reason you did - on their home turf and the interviews with the charity people (to be fair, I liked the idea of them but didn't watch all of them since I was watching it on replay.) I liked most of the ABC version except when they interrupted the cellist. With Robin having met the queen and having interviewed Harry, I enjoyed her excitement.

Ha! Thanks for starting a thread! I'm glad I'm not the only one watching. I just stayed up all night and am watching for a second time. I loved it. Especially the American priest making all those stuffy royals uncomfortable! That might have been the first time they sat through a church service where they priest quoted MLK. I loved Meghan's sly smile through his sermon. I thought the gown was perfect, she was gorgeous (although that one strand off hair in her face drove me crazy!) and he looked so handsome in his uniform. That dress had a little Arthurian vibe, I thought. Very romantic, but also modern. The veil was spectacular. I loved the moment when she took Charles' arm as she came down and aisle and when Harry thanked his father. The little ones were so precious and that one page's face as they were about to enter the church was a hoot. As a fan of Suits, I loved seeing the cast there looking fabulous. Gina Torres (Jessica) and Sarah Rafferty (Donna) looked particularly spectacular, as they always do on the show. Gabriel Macht proved once again that he can WEAR A SUIT. Abigail Spencer looked darling too. I usually think Troian Bellisario (Patrick J. Adams' gf) looks fantastic, but her outfit was sort of blah and literally beige. Ick. The commentators exclaimed that Amal Clooney seemed to bring her own light. It was that freaking yellow dress! I wondered if the Queen picked that color so people could see her in the pictures. She's done that in the past and it always makes me laugh. My favorite dress/outfit was Kitty Spencer in that fabulous green and floral number. Just stunning! The music was lovely, although "Stand By Me" felt a bit cliche. Loved the choir, but wish it was a different song. At least it wasn't "Imagine," which gets rolled out far too frequently. That cellist was otherwordly. I cannot believe he's only 19! I wonder how long we have to wait for them to do a balcony wave....or are they not doing that? All the cracks about Victoria Beckham's sourpuss had me in stitches. I loved the preacher and his message too! The thought that went through my mind was, "Bet these stuffy royals have never heard such a passionate sermon!", lol!!

I liked both their dresses, so different but both so good. I don't blame Serena at all for going with sneakers. What a fabulous plan! I also loved Meghan's second dress.

Apparently, Serena wears sneakers under gowns pretty often. Hey, whatever works. It's not like she had some elegant column dress and a pair of black Converse sticking out the bottom. Those shoes looked great with the style of that dress. I loved how colorful the skirt was and how it moved!
When my brother got married, I wore the most uncomfortable Kenneth Cole FABRIC pumps. Pointed toe. Excruciating. I had blisters on both heels before the ceremony even started. For the reception, I changed into navy blue (the color of my dress) Skechers with big clunky soles and added a cute hat with flowers on the brim. I was comfortable (well, comfortable-ish - I still had the blisters!) and protected from the sun!
I know that the reception given by the Queen and then the smaller party later were private, but I'm so nosy. I wish there was video! Part of me is glad that people respected the no pictures rule, but I wish we could have seen more of what everyone wore to those events.

I heard they passed out slippers for those that wanted them. Also I heard it was more like a party and some even played beer pong. It was on Inside Edition so take it with a grain of salt but I can also see it. It is Harry after all.

I want to hear the speech Harry's friend gave. Apparently, it was pretty "naughty" and had everyone in stitches!
The beer pong was at the evening party, right? Probably not at the one hosted by the Queen! (rofl)

I am sure it was the evening party although I would love to see the Queen try her hand at beer pong.

I think they said that she and the Duke were going home after the first reception. That's a long day for anyone, but especially when you're in your nineties!

BEAUTIFUL SERVICE, BEAUTIFUL SUNNY DAY, BEAUTIFUL COUPLE!!!
I love the STYLE of Amal’s dress.....it was a stylish cut and I loved the drape in back and her hat......just no on the color. It was too dark a yellow....looked mustardy.....I wish it was a softer Spring color.
I did not care for Oprah’s dress at all. I was hoping for something more stylish from her. Maybe floral patterns. I have seen her with absolutely lovely stylish dresses on the cover of “O”. Not this time though.
i thought Victoria B looked so serious every time the camera was on her......was her dress black or navy?
James Cordon and his wife looked lovely.
I thought the children were absolutely adorable!
Both Meghan’s dresses: the wedding dress and the one she wore in the blue sports car were OUTSTANDING! Meghan is beautiful!
Oh and the QUEEN.....I loved her entire outfit. The color, the style and her hat!

My daughter loves yellow so she was all about Amal's dress. I agree about Oprah's dress. It was a pretty dress but it didn't fit her right. Victoria's dress was very dark navy. She has been panned on every show I've seen for her lack of smiling. There's RBF but she took that to a whole new level! I too thought the queen's outfit was lovely. Did you see Zara's husband rubbing her belly, it was so sweet.

I don't think I saw her smile once.
Victoria Beckham wore a dark navy of her own design and it was proved on camera that she did smile - slightly - once.
At first I thought the Queen and Doria were wearing the same color, but no, the Queen was all neon.

I think Oprah's original outfit wasn't actually white, but they realized it would APPEAR white on camera, so she made the switch. I wondered why no one noticed that BEFORE she decided on it and flew across the Atlantic! Sort of like when women wear outfits on the red carpet that end up being practically translucent under bright lights. Why wouldn't you think to check that, especially since it happens fairly regularly!?
Oprah's was not a great looking outfit, IMO. I'm sure it was expensive fabric and was lovely in person, but it looked like cotton jersey on camera. Loved the hat though. I giggled at the dig the BBC hosts took at sullen Victoria Beckham. Sarah Rafferty from Suits also wore navy (and looked STUNNING! Those bell sleeves!) and one of the commentators wondered if navy was appropriate for a wedding. The other commentator said that it absolutely was, especially if accompanied by a beautiful smile (Sarah was smiling on screen at that moment). One of them then commented about VB's lack of a beautiful smile. I can't remember the exact wording, but it was very dry and British. She always looks miserable at public appearances and David is always so jovial, smiling and talking to people. Weird pairing, if you ask me. Maybe she holds it all in, but she doesn't seem like a happy person. I did think her dress was too dark, but it seems to be her look for royal weddings. She wore a navy shroud to William and Catherine's wedding too.
ETA: I didn't like that mustard yellow of Amal's dress either momrek. She's a striking woman and I liked the cut of the dress, but it would have been amazing in emerald green.

I wonder if Victoria and David got into it on the way to the venue? It was more than RBF...GF looked straight up PISSED when they got to the venue. At one point he tried to talk to her and she just scowled harder, lol. I hope they are okay...
Didn't like Oprah's dress, but I did like her shoes.
I hope Doria had a good time; she looked so overwhelmed. Than again, it's not everyday you get to see your daughter get married to a Prince. I was glad Prince Charles took her under his wing; it was a nice thing to do.

I think my favorite thing about Meghan's daytime dress was that she followed the rules, but just barely. The rules say shoulders have to be covered and she has to have long sleeves. Her shoulders were covered ... barely. And her 3/4 length sleeves said "I see your rules, I'll follow your rules, but I'll do it my way". I normally pull for Serena at Wimbledon, but this year I will be doing so even more hopeful that she can make the finals and her friend Meghan can sit in the royal box to cheer her on! I know that Serena will most likely play at Center Court in early rounds too, but I want that moment!
