I wonder if Victoria and David got into it on the way to the venue? It was more than RBF...GF looked straight up PISSED when they got to the venue. At one point he tried to talk to her and she just scowled harder, lol. I hope they are okay...Didn't like Oprah's dress, but I did like her shoes. I hope Doria had a good time; she looked so overwhelmed. Than again, it's not everyday you get to see your daughter get married to a Prince. I was glad Prince Charles took her under his wing; it was a nice thing to do. I've read a lot of rumors suggesting they're not and haven't been for a while. Also suggestions that they're staying together for the kids and for the brand. It's sad because she, in particular, NEVER looks like she's happy. There's David, waving to the crowd, shaking hands with people, etc. and she's there scowling like Mother Superior in her habit. Maybe that's their relationship dynamic. I still think it's weird.
I can't imagine that MOST people wouldn't be overwhelmed under those circumstances! Heck, even Harry looked a bit nervous at the onset. It's lovely to hear that the royals have welcomed Meghan's mother so warmly and tried to make her feel more comfortable. Since she's really the only member of Meghan's family that she's very close with, I think they knew they needed to step up and bring her into the fold as much as they could. I have read some very sweet things that Meghan has said and written about her mom, so I'm glad she was treated well.

It's the way pro boards does spoilers - you have to highlight over it to read it - it's extra protection from spoilers so you only know if you make the effort to see it.

I read at People online that tomorrow, Wednesday, May 23 at 9 PM NatGeo will have a show called Operation Royal Wedding. It is supposed to provide a behind the scenes look at the big day.
The problem is that my cable guide shows a different show in that time slot. >:D I did check with Natgeo online and they have the wedding show listed. I went ahead and set to record anyway, just in case.

I love that they asked for charity donations vs. gifts. They truly don't need anything, but can certainly afford to buy whatever they want. I wish I could find video of Harry's speech today at the event honoring his father. Apparently, a bee got after him and Camilla and Meghan (and probably the crowd too) were giggling about it. Here's his speech, which is really sweet. I love that he calls his father "Pa." www.express.co.uk/news/royal/963672/prince-harry-prince-charles-speech-meghan-markle-buckingham-palace-garden-party
ETA: Thanks for the heads up, Ariel! I just set my DVR.

HI ArielfliesI have Spectrum/Time Warner (whatever they are calling themselves) and its channel 129 (NGCHD) @9pm. Also right before the HARRY show @7pm is " Diana In Her Own Words" and after HARRY @10pm is " Prince Harry's Story: Four Royal Weddings"

Recorded the wedding on E! thinking it would be gossipy, and fashiony and instead it was annoying. Anyone have any opinion which network did the best airing of the wedding.
The commentary was horrible and they would split the screen and show commercials and you could hear the commercial soundtrack over the wedding ... it was so distracting I kept putting it on mute and trying to fast forward a bit.

I found PBS to be the best of the three I watched (at different times)as it was a feed from BBC/ITV.
Darn't Kar, I also have Spectrum/Time Warner and both sections channel 79 and 129 (which is not on my plan) have other shows listed. I'll check again tomorrow, but I do have the time slots set to record.

BBC America was all I watched, except for a few seconds on another network. IMO, BBCA does a superior job. I don't want to listen to a bunch of Americans yammering on about a British royal wedding. I thought the BBCA coverage was excellent. Depending on who your cable provider is, it might be available OnDemand. BBCA ran the wedding pretty much ALL weekend and yesterday too, so if you get that channel, I'd check the OnDemand selections. On Comcast/XFinity, BBCA has a 120 minute highlights package of the wedding.

BBC America was the best, IMO. The only other one I tried was NBC as I wanted to compare and I could of honestly deleted it from my DVR and not missed a thing.

The pic of Meghan's beagle riding in the car with the Queen (I posted an article with the pic near the beginning of the thread if anyone wants to see) was one of my favorite on the day! That dog is having a pretty great life!
ETA: Oops - I just noticed momrek posted a different article with that pic. Carry on! lol
