Really disappointed about Designated Survivor, but not surprised. Netflix did very little to promote the series. Even when I logged in to watch on the day the new season was released, it wasn't at the top of the menu, which is what they do with every other series on release day. I had to dig a little to find it in the menu for Netflix series.

There was a reality show on Pop TV about the New Kids on the Block that were on a cruise with their fans. lol Do you think they will come out with any new seasons? I thought they wanted to make seasons with other bands as well.

The OA was cancelled after two seasons. Stupid Netflix. I was looking forward to the next season, as incredibly weird as this series has been.

This one hurts. Grace and Frankie has been renewed for a 7th and final season (season 6 airs in 2020). I knew it wouldn't last forever, but I'm still sad. Love that show and the entire cast.

I'll miss this one too, but I can see why it's ending. Both actresses are already over 80, & well accomplished. I could see them being ready for regular series work to be done. I'm betting it's their own decision.

Considering how many shows Netflix has canceled in the last year, I’d guess the decision came from them.

Even though they ordered up 16 episodes of Bluff City Law, they are stopping production after the first 10. The show hasn't been cancelled yet, but it looks to be on seriously thin ice.

^^^^ Not surprised at all. I watched the first few episodes because I love Jimmy Smits, but it was just sort of bland. Really disappointing. The actress playing his daughter reminded me so much of Mary Elizabeth Winstead, only she wasn't as good an actress. Made me wish they'd actually gotten MEW for the role.
I really want Jimmy Smits to get a regular series, but he needs the right one. This definitely wasn't. There are much better legal shows on TV. Heck, there are better NEW legal series this season (IMO, All Rise).

I like him in general, but his fake accent and all.. just doesn't work for me and in that, he is what isn't working in this show for me. There is a good concept there and I like A LOT of the supporting cast but he is the one part I cannot warm to.

Jimmy's been terrific in recent (ish) years guesting on shows like Dexter and Sons of Anarchy. I just wish someone could figure out how to transfer that magic to a show FOR him.

In what I think may be the 1st renewal for a 2nd season CBS has greenlighted Evil for another year and they have given full season orders for Bob Loves Abishola, All Rise, Carole's 2nd Act & The Unicorn.

All of the stars of Days Of Our Life have been released from their contracts. Evidently they have filmed enough stuff to take the show through February. There is no word yet about when or if they will resume filming in the future, or even if they will recast all the roles with new & cheaper talent, or if the show will just be cancelled. It looks like another nail in the coffin of day time soaps to me.
