I'm sad about Hawaii 5-0's cancellation, but I guess 10 years is a good run!

They've had a good run. I know that Alex has wanted to move on for awhile, so it's not really surprising. I hope they come up with a great ending.

CBS cancelled Man with a plan, Broke, Tommy, and Carol's second act. I tried watching Man with a Plan when it started but I didn't like it. I saw a more recent one the other day and had just decided to give it another chance, guess there's no need now.

CBS cancelled Man with a plan, Broke, Tommy, and Carol's second act. I don't watch any of those sitcoms, but I watched and really enjoyed Tommy. It didn't break any new ground really - what cop show does? - but I like Edie Falco.

I love Edie Falco, but Tommy was boring imho.

I hope they finish the corruption arc as I'm really into whether Tommy makes it through or not.
Too bad about Broke. I didn't watch it, but that was Paulie Perette's CBS redemption story after the hullabaloo when she left NCIS.

CBS cancelled Man with a plan, Broke, Tommy, and Carol's second act. I like Carol's Second Act, but it's hardly what I'd call a favorite. It's enjoyable, but I won't miss it.

CBS cancelled Man with a plan, Broke, Tommy, and Carol's second act. None of these shock me to be honest. Carol's second act was bad, I watched for Kyle.. it was nice to see him in a role where he wasn't a crazed bad guy and where he could have some fun with it.. but the rest of the cast was just bad, and I will be honest I can't stand Patricia Heaton so I wasn't able to get behind her in this show at all. Broke, I kind of enjoyed some of the cast, I liked Sammy, he was a cute kid and I can't say that a great deal on TV shows.. last one I really liked was Trixie on Lucifer. As for Tommy, I liked the show, I like Edie but i felt too much of the show was forced, she has no chemistry with her love interest, the relationships all felt forced as if they were trying to throw every 'taboo' into it and see what stuck, I was disappointed in that respect, nothing felt believable because of it for me. I think this was a very missed opportunity. Man with a Plan, sigh, all I can think of is has anyone from Friends had ANY real luck since that show with a TV show???

Did anyone watch last Monday's episode of All Rise? It was taped after the Stay In Place orders. The actors were each in their own homes, did their own hair, makeup and costumes. It may be setting a precedent for new scripted shows.

It may be setting a precedent for new scripted shows. I did. I thought they did a great job. It kept its humor. They even explained the roommates not being in the same place very plausibly! Of course it was convenient that Lola and her husband already have their storyline of working and living on separate sides of the country. Just realized I need to make an effort to learn the characters' names. My husband and I are both notoriously bad at learning those. We realized we didn't know most of SEAL teams' names, two and a half seasons after we started watching it, when we were trying to tell my daughter part of a storyline from it. We've worked on learning those. I'm not sure we know them all yet, but it's better than it was. Now I'll have to work on learning the names from All Rise, which would be easier if they have more SIP episodes because their names are at the bottom of their screens. Obviously I noticed that much, but not what their names are.

Just so Dateline, 48 Hours, and 20/20 keep getting renewed I can continue to function in life. Anything else is ultimately expendable.

Super bummed about Single Parents. That’s the only half hour comedy I watch. Loved all the actors, including the kids. They totally left on a cliffhanger too. Now we’ll never find out if Will and Angie get together
