Started watching Dating around, but having trouble getting into it. Yeah, I watched part of the first episode and got bored. I didn't find the lead guy on that episode appealing at all. I guess I'm not that intrigued by the concept.

Watching High Fidelity on Hulu and it's a scream. Love Zoe Kravitz as Rob and the entire cast is enjoyable.

Watched the first episode of DEVS on FX-Hulu and went...HUH? So many questions - guess I'll have to continue. As has probably been written, it drops new episodes on Thursdays so I have one more to watch before waiting on Thursday.

The Sinner - season one. Wow. Lots of mouth fall open twists. I thought it was very well done and Bill Pullman is wonderful as usual. Off to watch season two.

I have a free trial of Hulu so I've been able to watch the seasons of Survivor I hadn't watched before. I started watching the first season when it was on tv but quit after a few episodes. I didn't start watching Survivor all the way through until Pearl Islands.
As much as people liked Ethan, I don't think he should have won his season. I felt bad for Lex when he was voted off because he was really dominating until then.
The next season had two bad choices for the winner, Neleh and Vecepia. If Shawn would have learned to keep his big mouth shut, he might have won the season but it was like he made it a mission to rub everyone the wrong way. I loved seeing Boston Rob as a young'n! I was surprised that he didn't even make it to the jury. I'm glad that he came back to play again since he had such a short run on his first season.
I'm currently watching Survivor Thailand. It's hard to find anyone to root for at the moment. It's a pretty blah season so far but hopefully it gets better.
I'm looking forward to rewatching some of the seasons. There were a few that I lost interest in partway through so I missed a lot of what happened.

I was so annoyed when Comcast removed Cinemax from my account last fall because that meant i couldn't binge watch Banshee again. I just discovered that it's on Amazon! So yeah, that's what I'm watching for the next week. Love this show so much.

Yesterday I started Season 3 of The Marvelous Mrs Maisel. I'm glad I didn't jump right in to my favorite series on Amazon Prime & Netflix as soon as the new seasons dropped. I have some decent TV to watch during seclusion time.

I'm in the thick of season three of Banshee right now and am still blown away by the camera work on the base heist in episode 7. The only cameras were the static ones placed around the set and the ones worn by the actors. Amazing editing too. I miss this show so much!
When I finish this, I'm going to start my free year of Apple TV.

I'm about halfway through The Morning Show on Apple TV. It's not what I expected, based on the reviews I've read. I like that they're approaching MeToo with a little more complexity and nuance. Human relationships are complicated.
Hard to watch Steve Carrell as even a slightly bad guy. He's normally so likeable.

The Outsider - HBO miniseries based on a Stephen King novel. Ben Mendelsohn is the lead character and he as usual is stellar. Love him. Really well done and lots of twists and turns. Murder mystery, with horror and some fantasy type of theme... Highly recommend.

Critical , it's so good, The Morning Show. You are right, Steve Carell's role in this show is so different than we usually see him. Realitychick , we just finished The Outsider. It's awesome. So intense. The acting in The Outsider is outstanding by all the main actors.

I watched The Outsider as it aired on HBO and sort of liked getting only one episode at a time. There was so much to digest. I don't think I would have gotten as much out of it if I'd watched it all in one go, which is what I will generally do if all the episodes are available. Cynthia Erivo was incredible, as were the rest of the cast.
I finished The Morning Show this afternoon and cried through most of the last episode Gugu Mbatha-Raw was incredible in that last episode. I've always liked her, but WOW. There were so many scenes that were really uncomfortable to watch, but I think they were important. SC's character presented as such a likeable everyman, just like some of these public figures who've been outed as predators. I don't necessarily think he's a good person (publicly cheating on your gf while she's pregnant is pretty scummy), but I thought Billy Crudup was terrific too.
Current events being what they are, I think Ozark may be a little too much for me right now. Not sure what I'll watch next. Something less intense probably.

I'm not sure if other cable/tv providers will follow suit, but Comcast has made most (all) OnDemand premium content free through April 9th. I'm currently catching up on Outlander.
Also, some of the streaming services are offering extended free previews. I know CBS All Access is doing it and maybe Apple TV.
With everyone stuck at home, at least providers are giving access to more content.

I started a re-watch of Flesh and Bone yesterday, because ballet always makes me happy. One episode in, I remembered how terrible it was - abuse, manipulation, all around awful people - and I stopped watching. I don't know WHY the imdb rating is so high. The acting is terrible too. I just wanted to see dancing. I'd be better off just watching ballets.
Instead, I'm watching an Aussie show, Wonderland, on Amazon. Just sort of light-ish drama about a bunch of friends. A little humor, some drama, romance.....exactly what I needed.

^^^ I enjoyed it too. Definitely a slow burn, but well done. I'm watching Home Before Dark on Apple TV+ and it is excellent. The little girl who plays Hilde is so good. She reminds me of Cailey Fleming on Walking Dead. Cute and natural and just a terrific little actress. They did a great job casting her. IMO, if they hadn't gotten the right actress in that role, the whole show would collapse.

I don't know if you'd consider it binge watching, but a couple of weeks ago I discovered The Roosevelts: An Intimate History on PBS. Today was Part 3. Next Saturday Part 4, etc. I think it's about an 8 part series from 2014. This is much more interesting than I would have expected. All sorts of detailed & background information on the families of Theodore Roosevelt & Franklin Roosevelt. I'm normally not overly interested in a lot of historical stuff, but this is really fascinating. I knew some simply from History class in school, but this is the story behind the story. Way better than the cold abbreviated stuff we learned in school. It's on every Saturday afternoon for 2 hours each episode. I plan to watch the whole series.

Bravo appears to be doing a marathon of Celebrity Poker Showdown today!!!!! They've been diving into some old seasons for marathons while we're all at home on shutdown, but I didn't think they'd go this far back! My guide shows it was supposed to be the last season of Below Deck, but this is a much better choice! I don't know how long it will go today, but I'll be watching for as long as they are showing it!
