I had sort of started the "new" Charmed a few years ago and dropped it halfway through the first season as I was still attached to the "old" Charmed and this wasn't that. I've started watching it again and am into the middle of season 2 and am enjoying it for itself. I've found the same reaction for Roswell as well. Give me a few years and I'm adaptable.

I never liked the original series, so I watched the reboots and didn't compare them, at least not in a negative way. I'm still casually watching Charmed, but I gave up Roswell after a season. I just got bored.
There are big changes on Charmed, so I'm in "wait and see" mode about whether I'll keep watching.
I've been watching Ms. Fisher's Modern Murder Mysteries on Acorn, but took a break for a few days. I finished The White Lotus on HBO Max and Now I'm watching Titans on HBO Max.

Something I've been binge watching isn't a TV show, but it should be. It's a series on YouTube from the account called Soft White Underbelly. This man interviews people from all walks of life, but more specifically Appalachians, drug addicts and prostitutes on Skid Row, and homeless people. Even though I am Appalachian, it's a good way for people tell their life story even if most are heartbreaking, their story still needs to be told. I've probably watched over 30 videos this past week. You know what? I'm here for this. I am all for hearing people's stories told by the people themselves and not a damn stereotype of what other people think their lives must be.
Not sure if you're on Facebook or Insta panikmoon but you might enjoy the account "Humans of New York." Wonderful stories about ordinary people in NYC from all walks of life doing all sorts of extraordinary things.

I recently finished watching "Angels Flight" (a Bosch book by Michael Connolly). Decided to rewatch Season 4 of the Bosch TV show, because it was based on that book.
And the award for "most-different-from-the-book-series" goes to . . .

That YouTube account basically tells those stories but in video form. It's just the person sitting down telling their story. I've watched at least 80 videos since I discovered it.

Yeah, when they brought it up to date, it was all the way, even to the point of current politics.
I finished season 3 (Netflix ending). The middle of that season got a tad soapy for me, but probably right in line with the CW beautiful people strategy.
They are crediting Constance M. Burge as creator in the front-end credits; though other than the premise of the Power of Three sisters, the writers really twisted it all up.

Since I discovered that BritBox has the Up Series, I've started a rewatch of the series. I haven't seen the 2019 installment of the "kids" at 62 and I think I missed the 56 episode too. I felt like a needed a reminder before watching the "new" episodes. I find it so interesting how these little children develop over the years and how you can almost predict how they'll turn out based on who they were at 7. I guess the Jesuit's motto of "Give me a child until he is seven and I will give you the man" can be true.

I have Amazon Prime for like ever.. although I will be saying goodbye to my student discount this next month (cry) I never used it to watch many shows. I recently started Goliath and LOVED season 1 but now that I am on season 3 I am like meh. I still like the premise but its gotten a bit weird and season 2 was odd too. I hope that season 4 is a bit of a return to the first season and more about hte case and the people involved.

I am surprised at how much I'm enjoying Selena Gomez in "Only Murders in the Building." Steve Martin and Martin Short are also fantastic in this, and the twists and turns in the story is interesting.

I'm enjoying it as well. She kills me with her looks of "what the hell" when the other two do something "boomerish". HA!

I'm waiting until the whole season is available. I love a whole-season binge. I was a bit dubious about Selena Gomez with those two legends, but the reviews have been very good. I'm pleased for her. Hopefully, this will lead to some better projects for her. The three of them were on Colbert last week and they were hilarious together.

Lula Rich-- the clothing looked hideous. 🤦🏾♀️ That was so crazy! Those two - the owners - seemed completely clueless as to why they were there. I think they thought it was a puff piece.
Have you seen the Insta pages (and maybe Tumblrs) of just pics of torn clothing and leggings where the patterns look like private parts? It's pretty hilarious. There are flowers right over the crotch or patterns with bananas or the leaning tower of Pisa extending down the leg from the crotch seam. I can't imagine who at LulaRoe looked and those and thought they were okay to sell.

Watched LulaRich yesterday and today on Hulu, I found a series called The Leaning Tower about the lead up to the 9-11 attacks. Leaning Tower is from a book and really, really makes some key players look bad.

Anybody finish the second season of Evil on Paramount+? I can't believe they left it right there. Jerks. Talk about a show that really benefited from moving to a streaming platform! I was a fan of Evil when it was on CBS, but it's even better with a little freedom on Paramount+. I thought the (mostly) silent episode was the highlight of the season. That moment when Kristin looks at David and mouths, "What the f*&%!?" had me I love that this show weaves together humor and horror so well. That cliffhanger was a killer! I'm actually conflicted about then finally going there. I mean, didn't Kristin JUST vow not to sin any more?
Since the new Dexter series is coming in a few weeks, I just started re-watching the original series. Those last few seasons weren't great, but I'm going to try to hang in and watch it all.
I've been watching See on Apple+ and it blew me away when I realized that Christian Camargo, the actor who played Brian, Dexter's brother, is playing the Witchfinder. I never would have recognized him!

Critical yes, that "silent" episode was great! It's going to be a long wait for the next season, there's a lot going on and I need some stuff explained. I'm still pretending that last season of Dexter doesn't exist. How is it almost November already?

I love how insane that show is.
Yeah, the final season of Dexter was NOT great. I may still re-watch it because the new series might reference it in some way.

Not binging it but just watched the season finale for Only Murders in the Building on HULU. It was nice.
Discovered Ghosts currently running on CBS and then Paramont + - what a gem of a ensemble comedy.
The new Dan Brown series on Peacock is only OK.
Survivor - OK better then the Dan Brown.
The Challenge - On MTV just turned up a notch.
Looking forward to seeing the reboot of The 4400.

I binged Only Murders In The Building yesterday. It was witty, silly and had lots of laugh-out-loud moments. And whoever thought up the role for Jane Lynch to play in the show is a twisted genius.
Oh, and it turns out that John Hoffman, who co-created the show with Steve Martin, is the same John Hoffman that I went to college with! He was a great actor back then but I didn't know he'd also become a writer-producer as well.

I'm happy about that. I'm currently watching the OG Charmed Ones. Love the 90's music all through the first two seasons. Not a fan of the dress code for young women, though...or Phoebe and Cole's smacking kisses - yuck. Starting season 4 - Pru dead, Paige being rebellious.
