The 4400. I hadn't binged it in a couple of years so I've forgotten a lot of stuff.

I LOVE that show! It seems that they have a new show much like it coming this Fall - 'The Manifest' I think it's called. An airplane lands after 5 years of getting 'lost'.

Clearly too much time spent in front of the TV this weekend, lol. I'm not even sure how I found it, but I just watched Crazyheads...it was hilarious!! My son and I watched together when he came for Sunday dinner. Neither one of us could figure out why there was only one season. Anyway, this is a British series...another 6 episode one, but only half hour or so episodes. It was kind of a cross between Buffy and iZombie, but with two female demonslayers. There were a few scenes in the first couple of episodes where I literally had tears running down my face from laughing so hard...
ETA: And don't worry about being left hanging at the end. There was plenty of room to move forward, but the main story thread wraps up 😊

<----puts Crazyhead on my list. I watched The Forest, a French crime drama (subtitled). It was pretty good! Now I'm impatiently waiting for the new season of OITNB.

I really liked The Forest too - that and Crazyheads was pretty much my weekend (In fairness, it was wet and gray most of the weekend, lol). You will definitely enjoy Crazy...and then you too can join the "Whytheheckdidtheynotrenewthisawesomeshow" club

I am so in love with the Netflix food/travel shows Somebody Feed Phil and Ugly Delicious.
Phil is so charming and funny and loves the food and people so much that it just makes me happy. And chef David Chang on Ugly Delicious knows so much about food and brings in other chefs and food critics, which is fascinating, too.

Watched the final season of Girlfriend's Guide to Divorce and UnReal. UnReal best season yet! GGTD has always been just ok, the last season was pretty good. Season 2 of 13 Reasons Why. I just love that show. Season 2 of Handmaid's Tale. So. Good. Can't leave the couch for hours. Impulse on YouTube. It's about a girl that can teleport. I didn't know what to expect but I really liked it! There will be a season 2 next yr. Sweetbitter and Vida. Both were quick binges but not memorable. Both will have season 2. I tried Patrick Melrose but it didn't hook me after one episode. I hear it's great so I may try again. Did anyone watch Season 2 of Westworld? I loved season 1 but when I started season 2 I was bored and confused... Should I stick with it?
So ready to binge OITNB this weekend!!

I bailed on Westworld halfway through episode 3, seemed like it was all the same thing, boring. Hubby stuck through it through 7, fast forwarded 8 and 9, watched the finale and said I made the better choice. Loved season 1, so telling myself that's when it ended.

I thought season two of Westworld was even better than season 1. LOTS of backstory explained and more about some of the supporting characters.
I just started Crazyhead and already love it! I'm so bummed they only did one season. It's hilarious!

We wanted something lighter than our recent diet of heavy-duty murder stories, so we started watching "Death in Paradise." Really enjoying the concept of completing a full story every episode and I . . . unusually . . . am finding myself figuring out "whodunit" about halfway through each episode. My last guess sounded wild, but it was right!!!!
Mr. AZC is suitably impressed.

I've watched all they had on Netflix and am ready for the latest season to be added. I like my murder mysteries on the lighter, funny side! Also, Guadeloupe has now been put on my travel wish list! I think I was on the second episode when I googled where it's filmed.

Crazyhead was excellent. I can't believe they didn't make more! It reminded me a little bit of the old Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the TV series, not the dumb movie). OITNB just dropped and I'll have to restrain myself. I want to watch them all at once, but I also want to make them last at least a few days...

I'm starting the beginning of season 2 of Wynonna Earp and want to finish that before I move on to something else. It's going to be a OITNB weekend!

Just finished No Second Chance on Netflix. Another 6 episode (my new favorite binge size!) mystery/thriller. This was, I think, the first Harlan Coben miniseries they did. It's French, and based off the novel of the same name....except they've switched the main character to a woman. Its subtitled, and if you're a fan of the genre, I'd definitely recommend it. It's really good!! And the lead actor...Pascal something...good looking AND he speaks French. What's not to love, lol!

Crazyhead was so much fun! What's really interesting is that the main character also plays the crazy religious sister on Chewing Gum, which is also on Netflix.

The 4th and final season of Casual was just released on Hulu. I'm won't even pretend I'm not going to binge the whole thing in one go. I'm already on episode 3. I LOVE this show! I'm so bummed it was canceled

I am going to buy a season of DVDs of something or the other in a couple of weeks to binge watch. Westworld had been on my list; but not anymore......Oh well, was hoping for something engrossing like the Game of Thrones.

Eh, different strokes I thought Westworld was excellent. Really layered, complex storytelling and stunning cinemagraphy. I had to watch every episode a few times to really get everything the same way I did with Mad Men.

I binged the final season of Casual ( ) and now I'm on season 2 of Mary Kills People. A show about a doctor who helps people end their lives is probably not what I should be watching in light of my friend's death yesterday. I actually thought it was about a woman who is a hitwoman. Still, I got totally sucked in.

I was at a loss as to which show to binge next, so I started another pass through Banshee. I think it's turning into my go-to binge show in the same way I used to binge The Walking Dead when I just wanted something to watch that was familiar. The more times I watch this series, the more I love it (the reverse of how I've been feeling about WD in the last few years). I want to be Job when I grow up. He's the character from this series that I miss the most.

I don't remember any gay character in the series. Who are they? And would you mind very much saying a few words about what their storyline is? Thanks so much, beerbelly.

I just binged the final season of Casual. It was surprisingly good and I may or may not still have wet tears from the final scene.
I watched Mary Kills People a few months back. Good watch.
I also recommend Good Behavior. Really enjoyed it.
Watched OITNB last Sunday and loved every second.
I am about to start Dietland with Julianna Margulies.

I didn't realize Dietland was available already. I really enjoyed the book, so I'll be interested to see how the show is.

I mostly enjoyed Dietland, especially after I gave myself permission to NOT like Plum a lot of the time. I find her so self-absorbed and immature.
I can't say enough good things about Casual. I was expecting something more along the lines of You're the Worst, which is a show I like, but it's not super deep and the characters are kind of a-holes. Casual ended up being much sweeter and more complex that I thought it would be. I was practically sobbing through the final episode, partly because it was so emotional, but also because I didn't want to see the show end. The brother-sister relationship between Alex and Val made me quite emotional - especially their scenes in the finale - because I lost my brother a few years ago.
I'm on season 4, episode 3 of Banshee, so nearing the end. Always chokes me up. I love this show!

I am sorry about your brother. I myself have a brother so I know how close that bound is. I've never scene a deep dynamic like Valerie and Alex before on TV so it was great to see them evolve over 4 seasons. You're the worst is one of my favorite shows. Very unique from anything I have watched and I watch a lot of tv. Anxious for the final season. I wait till all episodes air to binge so I have a while to wait.
