Not really impressed with anyone at this point.
Naturally, I favor the Davids over the Goliaths but again no one stands out. I was surprised how editing made it seem Pat's swearing seemed to offend people. Hey, people you are from all walks of life learn to tolerate each other and not target someone because they don't talk PC. He at least had the skills to organize and put together a shelter without pissing off too many people. At least he had to knowledge to do it. I know lots of guys like him who brag a bit. You have to let it go. There seems to be a bit of a divide between the blue collar and white collar Davids work wise. I know it is many players strategy to avoid work but believe me folks notice it. It won't hurt to participate the first couple of days.
Why are all the female Davids running around in their underwear that is see through when wet? And all the guys have pants on?
Goliaths:
Wrestler has a healthy ego, but you have to to be in that business. I will wait and see.
Natalie wow, sourpuss, constipated much, had not had to be social and charming in many years.
Dan - the cop who found the HII, idiot DO NO TELL anyone you have the HII. You had the opportunity to hide it your pants without the girls knowing.

I hope this doesn't turn out to be one of those shows where the physically weaker teams gets decimated. I hate when it becomes too one sided....

Oh I remember that season where one tribe was getting eliminated each week and it was so pitiful to watch. I think they were whittled to two members and then the merge happened. I don't want to see that either. Wonder if they will throw in some immunity challenges that are more puzzle-like and less physical to try and balance things. I'm with you, I don't want to see one side get eaten alive before the merge...

That was Palau and it got down to ONE member - Stephanie. That was crazy!

That tribe name is now a verb. No one wants to get palaued. It almost happened the last two Survivors as well, and it will probably happen this time unless they can more evenly match physical strength.
I was interested to see Goliath (who we think of as giant and muscular) didn't necessarily have those types on the tribe. They are more the self made type, the type A's. David tribe are the scramblers; those who have had to fight and scratch to make a dent in the world. Once again, not all weak in strength. Too bad they lost one of their strongest players to injury.
Hmm...wouldn't it be interesting if in turn the Goliath tribe got palaud.

I don't know if it will happen that way this time. Remember, Davids did win the first challenge on the boat.

That's my point. Plus they were very close to winning the immunity challenge. The strivers will strive.
