I liked this show a lot too, especially seeing how they all try to fit back in after being gone five years. The part I'm not so sure about is their strong "intuition" speaking to them now. The voices in their heads are a bit creepy, but I'm willing to see how it all plays out.
It's not Lost, which I was worried about! I did like Lost okay, but didn't want to see a knock-off copycat or anything too similar. This is very different.

I really liked the pilot and show plot. Can't wait to see where they go with it. It's kind of like the original Roswell where there is enough drama for the series itself but they add the sci-fit twist. Also enough characters from the plane to keep it going for a while..

I can't decide if I like this show. I like the idea behind it, but the plot seemed a little slow at times. I wish they would have aged the 'left behind' adults a little bit. I know 5 years isn't all that much, but they could have at least changed that one ladies' hairstyle. I figured out the "set them free" true meaning, so I wasn't surprised by the reveal.  I'm going to give this show a couple more episodes before I decide whether or not I want to stick with it. Side note: There are 2 threads for this show. Just thought I mention that so nobody gets confused. |

The same numbers coming up reminds me so much of Lost! And I dont want to see that! Other wise the show was very watchable.

Ok what the heck with that ending?! So sinister! I have no idea where this show is taking us. The personal entanglements continue to be intriguing. Olive is one intuitive young lady!

I really really like this show. It continues to surprise me which I love. I thought I figured out what was going to happen at the end but it was a total shock. And I love the character so much to explore.

I am glad that Michela is able to forgive her best friend, and her brother is getting a chance to rebuild his marriage. I hope they dont do all these good deeds for others and then having fulfilled their mission, disappear again! With all the strange things happening and that shadow figure killing one of them, I am afraid there may not be a happy ending for the lost passengers!!!

I'm enjoying it ..... and not just because Josh Dallas is back on my tv! That shadowy figure is creepy. At first, I thought the drawing Cal did was a hint at Mom's secret, but the ending showed it to be far more sinister.
Does anyone know who the psychologist/psychiatrist is? She looked very familiar, but IMDB doesn't even have her listed in the cast for the "Re-entry" episode.

My theory is that the shadow thing wants you do do good things...but if you do something selfish...Kaboom!
Also I think Grace was seeing another woman.
But that Jamaican accent last night was so horrible.

But that Jamaican accent last night was so horrible. I thought this too!! He had an accent but it wasn't Jamaican. Lol Apparently he and the kid who played his son are Father and Son in real life.. |

That's exactly what I thought! Now it's a murder-mystery show too? There's so much to this series. I do like the personal stories angle a lot, and the hyper-intuition they seem to have is interesting, but I sure hope they don't throw everything at the wall to see what sticks here. If it gets too convoluted, I'll have to give it up. They're supposed to be doing good things, helping people, yet they're also in danger apparently. That psych did look familiar, but I don't know who she is or from where. ?? |

I did not think she was seeing a woman! If she was, that puts a whole new spin on things. I guess I'm very basic.  I thought the shadowy figure in his drawing was the other man. I also never thought that maybe they were supposed to do good things but when they went off kilter then blammo. I figured the reason the lady got shot was because the government specifically told them to keep their mouths shut. And she ignored that. I love all of your theories. It makes it so much juicier!! |

I agree with burntbrat. The lover is a man and the woman who gave the interview was shot because she opened her mouth. Why do all the "mysteries" start with Josh's character? I guess he is central, but I wish he would give his wife more say with their son. I loved that the twin saved all his toys.

Technically they all were interviewed after the flight landed and we really don't know how long they were held ... for a bit I am sure as they had to process over 199 people plus the crew and check all the luggage and check the plane. But really how long could they hold these folks as much was in the media and public eye? After 48 to 72 hours these folks would have been screaming about their rights and calling for their lawyers. |

Although nothing will ever compare to my beloved Lost, I was hooked right away with Manifest. I to hope that they don't make it too complicated and have a set plan for how this is going to go.
The Psych is Elise Santora.
Episode 4, “Ben comes face-to-face with the man who replaced him.” Safe to say that he will meet Grace’s male love interest.
When the child drew the shadow figure, the woman on the street grabbed him, and Saanvi stepping in to monitor his cancer, I figured the kid would be a pivotal part to the story. Coincidence that treatment to help him is now available? I also felt a love interest vibe with her and Ben. Michaela forgiving her friend so easily seems to me there is still going to be a love triangle there since she didn’t tell her the full truth. Lots of theories going around, satan/god, aliens, time travelers with a mission, they are actually dead. Your obviously offed if you don’t comply. Who knows, but I am here for the ride!
