Season 3 Episode 7 - "Precious Cargo" - May 6, 2021
mmmmmm.....kinda nice to see other 828'ers have brains and are not all just sitting on their sofas channel surfing.
The seal on the box that Saanvi and Gupta opened is similar to the Seal of the Vatican.

Season 3 Episode 8 - "Destination Unknown" - May 6, 2021
Why has no one done a deep dive into the Major's daughter. Really no one is feeling any potential revenge vibes.
I did like the point of why is all the responsibility on Ben Stone's shoulders?
Somehow imagining the US government, any government weaponizing miracles is a terrifying idea.

Season 3 Episode 9 - "Bogey" - May 13, 2021
No one had figured out the disappearance of the ark also showed up as an earthquake on the one scientist monitors.
What exactly did Egan steal from Ben Stone, it was a USB stick? Did it have all of Ben's research on it? Hope it had a backup? Won't Ben realize it is gone?
What is Angelina trying to do? Wasn't it bizarre how she tried to kiss the new guy in Olive's life?

Season 3 Episode 10 - "Compass Calibration" - May 20, 2021
The show is getting kinda draggy and the plots aren't making sense.
Angelina really still in Christian cult mode ... anybody think maybe she is traumatized from having been held captive by her parents, maybe suffering from a bit of PTSD? Maybe needs some therapy? After all even while lighting a room on fire she expected a new born to save her.
Yeah, what did happened to all of the anti-828ers and their harassment of the passengers?
Luv the powers that be wanting to weaponize a piece of Noah's Ark and three rogue scientists are on a mission to stop a potential volcano (a result of experimentation on the piece of the Ark) from getting any worse.

Season 3 Episode 11 - "Duty Free" - June 3, 2021
Kinda felt like another filler episode. However the most important event to happen was the execution on the 828 passenger in Singapore and I noticed Michaela never passed that information to Ben, Saanvi, or Grace, like it wasn't important.

Season 3 Episode 13 - "Mayday, Part 2" - June 10, 2021
OK, a somewhat decent finale.
I do wonder how Angelina will justify killing Grace, and kidnapping Eden.
It will be interesting to see how on board and involved Dr. Gupta will be next season.
I just hope the network gives this series a chance to wrap up the story line cause I am getting confused as to what the theme is and where the story is going.
I also hope they drop some of the whiny soap opera bits, they just drag the story down.

Comments:
What strikes me in episode 11 Michaela is told about a passenger from Singapore who was just executed and that execution is never mention again, it is not in the news, it is not passed along to Ben and the rest of the family.
Another thoughtful moment is all this agony over the Major's death. This women kidnapped passengers, we don't really know how many, tortured them. I am sure some died, and that was OK. The major also deceived Saanvi and stole her research and got her fired from her job, but that was OK. Yet Saanvi helped to free the kidnapped passengers and stopped the Major from even more kidnapping, assaults' and torture and yet this show is HUNG UP on Saanvi killing the Major. The Major was never going to be investigated, or found guilty of any wrongdoing yet Saanvi is the one who gets stomped on by Jared and Michaela's morality.

The show has been cancelled. Kind of shortsighted, IMO, since it’s currently (or was yesterday) the #1 show on Netflix. There are probably people watching there who’ve never seen the show and who would tune in to watch a new season. The showrunner is shopping the series around, so maybe it’ll get picked up somewhere else. It feels like it would be a good fit on TNT.

This one reason why I quit watching network TV and turned to reality shows. With a reality show all is wrapped up in a season vs getting invested in a series that is cancelled either halfway through a season of at the end of the first one. I followed The 4400 on cable for all four seasons and it got cancelled. That was the last straw for me. However I recently read that The CW is doing a reboot of The 4400. I will at least watch the premiere.

I hope it gets picked up by someone like Netflix where I can still watch it. There are just so many Pay TV Services nowadays. I get so few & have no plans of springing for any more of them. I only get the basic Network TV available for free with a wall plug & rabbit ears; Netflix; Amazon Prime; Disney Plus. Anything more I'm just not going to pay for. If this gets picked up, I hope it's not one of the many I just don't/won't get. What makes me so angry is that there are so few Network shows I watch anymore. It figures that the only ones I watch are the ones that get cancelled.

What is so funny season 1 and season 2 are on Netflix right now and it is still in their top 10 shows being watched.

I did see an article about there maybe being a movie to wrap everything up. Wonder who's going to pay for that. I think this situation should be a cautionary tale for other showrunners/creators about the hubris of planning for a story to span 6 seasons on network television.
I'm still pretty shocked at NBC canceling the show while it was #1 on Netflix. That was weeks ago and it's still in the top10. That definitely doesn't happen often on Netflix. Most things hit the top 10 one week and within 2 weeks they're off the list.

I'm watching season 3 on HULU. And, I'm to the weird lifeboat thing and Mount Arahat, etc. I just wish Ben would stop with the over-stressing (acting).
ETA: UGH! They have a lot of unraveling to do. So, if no season 4, I'd hope for a short movie.

I’m happy to see Netflix come to its senses. The show has been in the top ten tv shows on Netflix since it was released.
I know the showrunners planned for six seasons, but at least now they have 20 episodes to wrap things up instead of leaving us all hanging. This show was crazy and chaotic and sometimes didn’t make sense, but I (and I’d suspect a lot of other viewers) stuck with it to find out how it would all end. After I found out that there really was an ending already in mind, I figured it would all make sense in the end.

There were a lot of filler episodes and hopefully now it is not on regular network TV they can stick to the story and get it resolved. Nice to see there will be a wrap up.

Never made any sense to me. I am glad it's coming back for a final season on Netflix. I actually get Netflix. I was afraid that if it did come back it would be on a subscription network that I didn't get.

I see the trend is for shows to shorter and have definite beginnings middles and endings. I am OK with that especially if it is a good story. You can only do series that go on forever like Grey's Anatomy, and Law and Order where you have an overall format and it is OK for the cast to change up a bit. Personally if I never see another Law and Order in my life it would be OK.
I do think the shorter format (5 years) is perfect for shows like Manifest, Lucifer, Killjoys (SyFY), Agents of SHEILD, and others.

For anyone else who still cares about this show, it's back! I watched the last episode of Season 3, the last one shown on regular Network TV, for a wrap up, and Episode 1 of Season 4. So far, so good.
Some time has passed for the characters. I think they said 2 years. Not sure, but it's definitely a few years later. There have been a few changes in the characters too. Not a lot, but clear changes just the same. The tone of the show has remained.
Anyhow, I guess this is the final season for the show. I like that. This show desperately needed a wrap up season.

Season 4 Episode 1 - "Touch-and-Go" - November 4, 2022
My only qualm about this show was the Ben Stone drama, everything revolved around Ben, his obsessions and agonies and I see that has not changed.
I did like the transporter effect with the elderly Asian man.
Not surprised that some authoritarian countries are killing, detaining, torturing, and experimenting on the 828 passengers.

Season 4 Episode 2 - "All-Call" - November 4, 2022
Liked the discovery of the 828 black box.
A registry of the 828 passengers, like that is ever a good thing.
The story would be so much better if Ben was totally cut out.
