I just finished the season finale, and this is really such a good show. Everyone got a chance to shine, and the villains are set up for a good story arc. Where is Rufus??? I knew Jessica was bad news! The honesty between Wyatt & Lucy is refreshing. Harriet Tubman was in the house!!!
The renewal indecision on this show is proof that it has nothing to do with quality programming. Timeless is great TV.

They have not cancelled this show, yet they have not renewed it either. They appear to be negotiating with Sony somehow trying to work something out which is beyond my understanding. I am not at all sure, but there was something very odd connected to something else on a youtube clip which showed a very brief preview of a possible episode 1 of a season 3. If this was genuine, it would have the team - maybe the future team? - going back to Amelia Erhart's flight, during that time period.

This is one of my favorites. I hope they get renewed. I want to see where Flynn's character goes .......

I want to see where all of them go after this point. Plus, it's fun to see them interact with the past historical situations & people.

Man, I don't understand all of this, but from what I can see, it looks like there are 4 shows involved in all these heavy negotiations going on. Timeless Season 3 is one of them. One of the 4 series appears to have made it through, and I have already forgotten what it is because I didn't watch that particular show, but to me, that sounded good. Maybe all of this is just a lot of tedious negotiating, and we are going to see it happen yet with Timeless.

I hope this show survives. Today during nap times, I binge watched the last few episodes I missed. It is such a great show!

I love this show too!
One thing that's funny is - why do they have to steal when they time-travel? Surely they could bring some old US currency along on most of these trips? Especially when they were in the 1960s and 1970s. I mean come on, they can bring guns, why not cash?
Not nit-picking as I really do love the show. I can suspend disbelief to watch it for entertainment for sure. And it's a great history lesson too.

I think in season 1 they were set up with access to historical clothing and money , etc... But, since they were in the bunker in season 2 and laying low , they don't have access to clothes and historical money. But that bothered me too....and the earlier times they travel back, the harder it would be to steal clothing and money since there are no stores or just small stores....I mean how does Lucy steal all she needs for a ladies outfit in the 1860's with no one noticing? she looked pretty posh in San Fran.

How did they do all of that with Jessica? My answer to all of this stuff to myself when it gets to bugging me too much is that it is sci fi!!

Well, my husband is going to be a little upset. He liked Timeless but did admit it was getting "goofy".

There goes the 2nd of the regular type shows I watched although this one had been on 2 seasons. Hopefully, NBC can see their way to give us the 2 hour wrap up show that has been thrown around as a possibility.
I really liked Timeless. I wanted to see how they were going to handle the historical events, and I enjoyed the costumes and scenery as well as the character and plot itself.

I didn't realize it had been on 2 seasons. I guess time really does fly when you're having fun. But now no more fun with this one.

Fantastic news!!
TVLINE has an article headline: Timeless lives! NBC Revives Cancelled Drama With 'Two-Part Finale'
Evidently, it will be showing during the holiday season, will consist of 2-1 hour shows wrapping everything up, including bringing back Rufus!
The creators thanked all the fans for this happening. Of course, the fans have caused a non-ending bunch of publicity and noise!

Yay! That's something at least. I hate when good shows are cancelled with no proper ending.

I watched one other show - The Crossing, more sci-fi than Timeless but not Outer Space - that got less than 8 episodes. Evidently, they had enough notice for the writers to give it a little bit of a wrap up, but they couldn't quite tie up all the loose ends. They probably needed at least 1 more episode to deal with those. It left me feeling just....blah! At this point? I am thankful for small favors!

I watched the Finale. Very well done wrapping up the loose ends & giving it a satisfying ending in just 2 hours. I had taped it. Unfortunately my beloved VCR decided to jam up & eat the tape about 5 minutes from the end. It's currently stuck inside the machine. May not be salvageable. I hope the VCR is repairable & salvageable. Believe it or not, those things aren't cheap to replace. Around $250.00 or more, even online. I would have thought they were darned near free at this point.
I read a few Finale recaps online, so I know how the last few scenes go, but would still like to see them.

I was thinking I must have been the only one to watch. I also thought it was a nice way to end & they even left a bit of a what if at the end when the young girl was developing her own time travel machine.
MissScarlet, I reckon you could get a Tivo for cheaper than a new VCR & have much more flexibility.

Have you tried looking at Goodwill for one? That's a good idea. Either that or a Pawn Shop. I'm not ready to do that yet though. My techie friend is going to take it apart & see if he can repair it. If not he has others & may be able to Frankenstein one together for me out of others. Us VCR users are a stubborn bunch. I'm not ready to go modern.

The wrap-up was excellent.... very well done. Liked how everything was tied up with Flynn and the diary. And the future trip back! Excellent series. A shame when quality programming like this gets cancelled while so much trash just keeps on going!
