I've been slammed with work and have been able to keep up with my soaps here and there.😕 Devon is taking care of baby Dominic...who's taking care of Abby's restaurant and/or hotel? She took off abruptly and I guess "Society" is running itself?  The Jack & Phyllis reunion appears imminent.  Her reactions at the thought of reuniting with him, while talking to both Amanda and Lauren last week, were comical. Such stupidly overdone facial expressions  She is like watching a cartoon. Sally and Adam appear to be getting closer  Hi fang2170YUP.........we can now watch Y&R once a week and we have missed nothing........boring. The other day it was Phyllis day on Y&R............blah blah blah...........I ff through the show. Delete. Jack and Phyllis....... Abby just left town. That is right, newborn and Society and she just leaves. I want this Chance is missing Chance is dead s/l to WRAP UP. Gawd. PLUS let's wrap up this Ashland, Jesse Gaines, Billy, Vic, Adam s/l. |

When Abby said he had a son he was totally surprised. If he knew who to call after the explosion (that lady he is staying with) how come he did not call Abby? He needs to answer to Abby why on earth he never ever called her.  Did he at least listen to the 1,000 messages she left him DAILY? Soap fans have tons of questions. Ya gag me with Jack and Red. #ugh |

If I remember correctly, all the decisions to have Devon as donor, etc. happened after he left, although didn’t Abby have some phone conversations with him? Yeah, not clear. I do think he said he didn’t call her after he survived because it would be too dangerous to risk anyone knowing. I cracked up when the lady kept being overwhelmed by Abby’s impulsive outbursts. She wasn’t used to such American enthusiasm. 🤣

I was hoping Chance would shower up before leaving Spain but no. Then once he got to Genoa City maybe a shower but no. Then when I heard them discuss the homecoming party for Chance, he would shower up but no. Now maybe he has showered but not his hair. eww. |

I was glad that Amanda who seemed a bit conflicted with Dom moving in quickly turned it around and appeared to love Devon's relationship with Dom. She was feeling so sad for Devon. I wonder why Dom was not at the homecoming party? Phyllis STILL the raging *itch........  I noticed yesterday Chelsea's pic (MCE) was FIRST when Y&R did the opening credits AND she is looking so fabulous when FTing with Adam. I am THRILLED this pregnancy was WONDERFUL for MCE after the loss of her first baby. Which sent her into a horrible depression hence leaving Y&R for awhile. Did anyone think Jill looked rather disheveled when she came to GC? A brush might have helped.  |

Elena and Nate have absolutely NO chemistry AT ALL. And champagne to celebrate a couple moving in together? I so wish Devon would stop sulking whenever someone brings up Dominic. Same with Mariah. Elena and Nathan are about as exciting as watching paint dry. I honestly had forgotten she was on the show.

I'm fed up with Billy. All his character is concerned with are dumb "revenge" plots. For years, it was Victor, then Adam, then Ashland and now Adam again. He's NEVER happy. I was rooting for him and Lily initially, hoping their relationship would give him a new perspective, but all I see now is him dragging her down. She'd do herself some good to get away from his toxic ways |

Oh, another rant that came to mind after watching over the holidays...."Poor Summer"
Tessa was chatting with Sally at the coffee shop when Noah came in and gave Sally a look that equated to a wintry blast. After Sally left, Noah launched into the "Poor Summer" spiel; how Sally did this and how Sally did that to "Poor Summer". My memory reminded me that "Poor Summer" started the feud with her jealousy towards Sally. She couldn't STAND to have another attractive young woman in Genoa City as potential competition for her precious Kyle or her career. Sally put up a good fight and didn't leave town like "Poor Summer" wanted. It was a whole lot of back-stabbing and it wasn't just Sally holding a knife. |

Only thing is, he'd eventually want to raise the baby with Tessa and cut Mariah out of the picture! |

Yes, I remember that, not sure if the show has addressed it! Mariah wasn't even a glint in Tessa's eye way back then. I remember a scene where Mariah was crying while listening to Noah and Tessa giggle and carry on in a bedroom. I also remember Mariah practically BEGGING Tessa to be with her.
Wonder what would happen if Noah begs Tessa to get back together with him? |

He did confess he had feelings for her yesterday and when she looked startled he backpedaled. Then Mariah showed up and she clammed up but Mariah knew something was off and questioned her. Tessa deflected… so things are already starting.

I'll go back and rewatch that scene though because I want to see both Tessa and Mariah's reactions.
Either way, Tessa needs to say something to Mariah about it. Secrets (and sometimes ex-boyfriends) destroy relationships

So, did I miss something in regard to Chelsea suddenly begging Adam for another chance? Half of yesterday's episode was her tearfully reminding him of all the "good times" and what a great family they had. She either has conveniently forgotten what a snake he can be, or she is up to something. |

How did anyone think plopping her in the middle of the company and making her boss was going to be a good thing? Too bad, because Sally was really getting that company going. Chloe will have to choose between Chelsea and the company. Chloe was really looking haggard yesterday. Her makeup was really harsh.

I watched Thursday's exchanges between Adam and Billy, and Billy and Victoria. It all started with Lily and Billy arguing about Victoria's involvement in his stupid plot. Lily said she's pulling out of it, and Billy's response was to storm out of the apartment. The cracks in that relationship are really starting to show
Billy makes his way to the bar and appears to be having a REAL scotch when he spots 'Undercover Sally'. He confronts her and nearly yanks her fake blonde wig off!!  Then he drags her along to go see Adam and comes clean about faking the gambling and drinking. The two exchange some digs, with Billy telling Adam that his 'daddy' is going to be disappointed in him and he'd "never measure up" as a Newman. Lastly, Billy went to Victoria and told her he had spilled his plot to Adam.The expression on her face was withering enough, but she called him out on his need to 'gloat' to Adam and said that he couldn't stand that she was the one calling the shots.
All in all, I think Billy was most wounded by what Victoria had to say to him. Adam seemed mostly unfazed by the whole thing.
I doubt Billy nor Adam have learned anything from this experience and it will be no time at all before one or the other will be hatching another "revenge plot" against the other.

Billy told Lily he had told Adam everything, but he didn’t tell him of Victoria’s involvement and he should have. Adam seems really disturbed by Billy’s confrontation, snapping at Sally.
