I loved the first Episode of Sandition 2. Esther became one of my favorite characters at the end of the first season so I'm happy to see her story develop. I love Arthur's and Miss Lambe's friendship.

Well, I am watching Sanditon again, and have already picked the men I want for each sister. I want Charlotte to chose the widower/father of the little girl, (and Uncle of his niece) that she goes to work for as a Governess. Her sister, will most likely “mistakenly” choose the handsome soldier that she has nothing in common with except that he is as handsome, as she is beautiful. But, I prefer the taller soldier with the scar on his face for her. He looks honorable, and honest. Perhaps in the end she will come to her senses.
As for Miss Lamb, I hope she remains independent by choice. I don’t trust any of her suitors, at this moment at least.
The choice to kill off Sidney, after he saves Tom’s project was a good one, since the actor refused to return. This allows Charlotte to grieve her loss and move on. Looking forward to watching more episodes.

 I will say that Before We Die is very well done, but, it also scares the heck out of me.  So suspenseful. Have decided that I won’t watch it on Sundays after Sanditon, but will watch it online next day during daylight. Just before bed, was to nerve racking for me , I prefer to go to bed following the sweetness left from Sanditon. What can I say? I’m just a scaredy-cat.

Annika: I've only watched the first episode, but I love this series. Annika is of course, a brilliant detective (as like Nicola Walker's character in Unforgotten), but, a bit cheeky, quirky and completely lovable. The show employs an interesting concept, as the article above indicates. It's as if you are a news reporter, or maybe a little like a reality documentary; in that she treats the viewer as if we are right there at her side. Viewing everything alongside her. She talks to us while she is walking along, looks directly into the camera as if musing/chatting with you. She is an upbeat, hopeful, amusing character which is charming to watch.
I sincerely hope that those with PBS Passport will be as enthusiastic about this show as I am, and that PBS will work it into their Masterpiece schedule as quickly as possible!

Murder returns to Oxford as Endeavour returns to MASTERPIECE when the first of three all-new mysteries premieres Sunday, June 19 at 9/8c.
Grantchester Season 7 premiere on Sunday, July 10 at 9/8c!

Not surprising because we all knew it was coming but.....‘Endeavour’: ‘Inspector Morse’ Prequel Series To End On Masterpiece & ITV After Nine Seasons. The series began as a single film in 2012 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Morse and has run for 33 episodes across nine seasons. They are filming the final season now.
Masterpiece Executive Producer Susanne Simpson said, “Endeavour has been one of our most beloved Masterpiece series. Though we hate to see it end, we have been so proud to present this wonderful series to our viewers.”

I really enjoyed Ridley Road; it was a hard watch but i loved the ending especially how everyone helped Vivian at the end and how her landlady changed.

I understand the hesitancy. Last season was darker than all of the previous ones. But, I love Shaun Evans who plays Morse. He is not only a talented actor, but the episodes he has directed have all been brilliant.
I know there is a split coming between Morse and Chief Inspector Tuesday.....but, I don't care. 33 episodes as a tribute to the late Colin Dexter, who ended the series upon the death of John Thaw, the original Morse was, sadly, expected. Thaw did 33 episodes of the original series before his death, and the spinoff, "Inspector Lewis", also did 33 episodes. There was some anticipation last year as to whether they would end the prequel after 33 episodes, and we have had that confirmed. Still, it was wonderful scripts along with a wonderful cast and acting.

Ooops! My apologies! Apparently, they are just releasing Season 8 (3 episodes) on PBS, and the remaining 3 episodes (which they are currently filming), will be released as Season 9. So, there will be a separate final season with the last of the 3 episodes. I think ITV plans to air Season 9 in the fall 2022, with US to follow at a later date.
