LOVE this show. I’ll definitely rewatch season one before the new season comes out. Her pink coat in early episodes is gorgeous.

I watched the first episode. Everything is just as good and it takes an offbeat turn to start the season when Midge and her dad have to chase her runaway mom all the way to Paris. Also Susie gets taken for a ride to get whacked by a couple of thugs.  |

Has everyone finished watching Season 2 yet? I don't want to spoil anything.
I will say it was just as fun, entertaining, and witty. The ending through me but was happy we got 10 episodes. Only another year till season 3! It was good enough to hold me over.

Has everyone finished watching Season 2 yet? I don't want to spoil anything. I will say it was just as fun, entertaining, and witty. The ending through me but was happy we got 10 episodes. Only another year till season 3! It was good enough to hold me over. I'm holding off on binge watching the new season and have only watched the first episode so far. This way I can stretch it out and watch whenever the mood strikes me. Many shows are on a winter hiatus until mid-January or so but I've been watching Hallmark and Lifetime Christmas movies instead. After the holidays I'll finish up with the show. |

Finally Finished tonight wasn't able to watch on release due to my house move. For me the 1st few episodes were slow going and didn't have the shine of the 1st season. But the show hit it's stride when they went to the camp. The Tail end of the season was so great. I can't wait to see what happens next season the show keeps you on your toes. Have to say I hope we get to see like an aged midge at the end of the series recounting her tales in comedic form to her grandkids or something.

I must admit, I had a bunch of Dirty Dancing memories watching it. So far there has only been one part that had me thinking oh gawd.. and that was the wedding scene. I was like ohh Midge, just stop!!! She made a great point in that she lost her social cue awareness.

Amazon and Netflix both usually release an entire season at once. Hulu I believe releases a lot of programs week by week ... which may be one of the reasons I don't subscribe to Hulu! No idea what the production schedule is for this show, but I would guess it would be around the same time next year that they release season 3.

Background noise of reruns but I rarely sit and watch, this show is just that good. On a side note, I just realized that Rachel was Kate Spade's (  ) Niece. I loved Kate.. and all the outfits and hats and shoes and handbags.. always gave me a Spade Vibe. The wardrobe is spectacular in this show. |

LOVED EVERY SINGLE MINUTE OF IT and LOVE Rachel so much!!!!!! Great cast and great s/l!!!!! One question why does SUZIE wear a KEY around her neck? Loved her as the "fake" plumber........hysterical. Oh and now so many changes. Joel pissed me off on what he did to Midge and I was glad for Benjamin in Midge's life ..... but but but the finale???? Suzie is not going to tell Midge about Sophie????

I binged all 8 episodes over the weekend.
I didn't know about Sterling K. Brown being cast, so it was a real surprise to see him onscreen. And it's not just a one-show guest shot, he sticks around.
The show looks as gorgeous as ever, with lots of unexpected eye-popping sets and locations -- it must cost a fortune to produce. And I like how each season goes off on its own path with the characters -- this one is no exception. I kind of saw the final cliffhanger coming, but overall it was excellent and full of surprises.
Jane Lynch's story and performance is nothing short of amazing. And Alex Borstein will win another Emmy for sure, because her work this season is even more amazing and unexpected than ever.

Is this a show that gets better as it goes on? I ask because I started watching the first episode recently and couldn't get interested so I didn't even finish the episode. If it takes a while to get going, I might give it another shot. If you either get it or you don't and I didn't get it from the first episode, maybe it's just not the series for me.

Really loved this season. Was pleasantly surprised to see Paris from Gilmore Girls/Bonnie from How To Get Away with Murder in her role.
I just find the writing, directing, acting phenomenal.
As for getting into it...it took me a couple of episodes.

Loved all of Midge's clothes! The sets are stunning; I loved seeing Forrest Hills depicted here. Rose and Abe had me in stitches for this season. The ending was a surprise to me; I had thought they were leading up to something really dark like Shy's plane crashes or someone shoots him; there was such a big deal made about Miriam NOT being late to the plane I had thought maybe she misses the plane and is left behind and it crashes or something. Glad it wasn't that but still a surprise / not something I had guessed. It will be interesting to see what is going to happen now. I really enjoyed this season. Was Lauren Graham on???????

It seemed as if Lauren really wanted to be a part of the show.
