Season 5 premieres January 18th. ------------------------ ‘Grace And Frankie’ Gets Season 5 Premiere Date On Netflixby Erik Pedersen December 3, 2018 10:17am Netflix has set January 18 for the Season 5 premiere of Grace and Frankie, starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin as the respective title characters. As the press notes puts it — and fans of the series will understand: “They’re back, and out of f*cks to give.” Check out an announcement GIF below. That’s not the first time the series’ has had a racy season-premiere date announcement. Back in February 2017, Netflix touted G&F‘s return using the title duo’s vibrator products. That’s one way to generate buzz. Hailing from Skydance Television,Grace and Frankie follows the title duo, whose lives are turned upside down when their husbands (Martin Sheen, Sam Waterston) reveal they are gay and leave their wives for each other. Both sparring partners and partners-in-crime, Grace and Frankie form an unlikely and unbreakable bond and face their uncertain futures head-on, hand-in-hand. Together with their ex-husbands and children (Brooklyn Decker, June Diane Raphael, Ethan Embry and Baron Vaughn), they discover the true definition of “family,” with laughter, tears and plenty of mood enhancers along the way. RuPaul is among the Season 5 guest stars. Tomlin has been Emmy-nomination for all four of the series’ seasons but has yet to win. Fonda also got a Best Actress Emmy nom in 2017. Both also have been up for the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series in each of the past two years.

Thank GOD! When I saw a new post in here, I worried that Netflix had given it the ax. I wonder if we'll see a Dolly guest spot this season. They keep teasing that she might show up. I'd love to see her with Grace and Frankie.

I absolutely loved this show the first three seasons, then gave up halfway through last season. It didn’t seem to grow at all. The jokes were predictable and everyone snarling at each other stopped being funny.

Another good season, enjoyed. The only episode I did not care for was the Alternative Final episode of season 5. I understand the relevance of the episode, it was just that the characters were unbelievable. They were so dramatically emphasized, that it was not even funny. They were more evolved in the first episode of season 1, then the silliness portrayed in that season finale. Oh well, the point was made I guess. Now season 6 should be interesting

I loved them all, even seeing what would of happened, if Grace and Frankie had not moved in together. It was a great season. Roll on season six!

I enjoyed the season after it finally got going, but I thought the first few episodes really dragged. I almost gave up on the show altogether.
I finally finished it all last night, and I'm glad I hung in there. They sure had some fun guest stars: Ed Asner, George Hamilton, RuPaul, Nicole Richie. Who an I forgetting?
