Yes folks, it's here. I went to see Frozen 2 with the grandkids and was fully impressed. The kids loved it just like the first one. I expected that, but what I didn't expect is just how much I loved it. I felt in ways it was better than the first one. Reviews have been tepid. They all say there's nothing new or noteworthy here. I totally disagree. The character growth & maturity level of the main characters (it's 5 years later in Frozen world) is noticeable & refreshing. In the first one, the girls were clearly late teens, barely grown, with that kind of sensibility. In this one, they are young women in their early 20's, at the age where girls/women are acting with much more thought as to their futures & place in life. Still loads of fun though. I loved seeing that and where that & their adventures take them. It was fun and inspiring to girls everywhere to see them grab life & make it what they want. What a good example to the young girls watching this. Gone are the days of the old Disney heroine who needs to be rescued & given a happily ever after. These gals are making their own happily ever after in their own methods. Even Olaf the Snowman spouted off some really intelligent & reflective comments in his chatter. Well done, Disney.

I liked Frozen 2 much better then Frozen. I was a fan of Tangled and did not see the fuss of Frozen and felt it was just the same old thing, again. Sequels are hard but I liked where this one went and the ending felt much more natural and the right conclusion of where all these characters needed to go and it also added depth to this particular world.
