A new plastic surgery show featuring female surgeons with a practice in Beverly Hills. All I have to say is, these ladies are amazing and after watching them in action last night and seeing their work if I had the money I would be knocking at their door. The cases last night included a woman who needed a breast reduction for her size M breasts, a transgender model who wanted a nose job, and a lady with a torn labia (!) in three places from giving birth who wanted to look normal again. I've long heard that female surgeons have a "feel" for breast work that men can't match, and it turns out to be true in the case of the breast doctor because her patient looked marvelous after her reduction and lift. The nose doctor also specializes in "ethnic" noses and talked a little about how AA noses tend to be structured a little bit differently and how you can use different things to make it still look ethnic but more refined; like a better version of yourself. The model's nose turned out great, she really did look like a better version of herself. For the lady with the torn labia they had drawings showing the damage and how the doctor would fix it. They blurred out quite a bit during the surgery but in the end she and her husband were extremely happy.
Overall, it's a really good addition to the "plastic surgery show" genre and definitely worth a watch.

Watched the first episode to see how this was different than the original show with Dr Rey. I like the women doctors, that are top in their fields. I couldn’t watch a lot of the procedures, especially the rhinoplasty. There’s something about breaking bones that repulses me. In the original show, they showed the patients the day after the procedures. This show followed up after completing healing, which was 1 month to several months post surgery.

The second show holds up. On the roster: A man with a huge mass on the side of his face, a woman with small teeth and a huge gummy smile, and another woman with the Brac gene who needed a mastectomy and reconstruction. The breast doctor does really amazing work; she does the mastectomy and the rebuild at the same time so her clients can have as normal a life as possible and stays current with procedures and her client looked really good, definitely a sea change from procedures from the past. The guy looked like one of Dr Pimple Poppers patients because it turned out that the mass on the side of his face was actually a giant cyst so she drained it and then removed the sac so it wouldn't grow back. The third doctor took care of the gummy smile with a bit of...botox? Apparently, people with gummy smiles lips curl too far upwards and the Botox relaxes the upper lip enough that it falls in the right place. She was a pretty girl before that looked even better once her smile was fixed.
I have to admit, I'm really enjoying this show. Like Dr. Nassiff and Dubrow these ladies have many years of experience perfecting their craft and it shows.

I just caught up on this one - I like it! The tummy tuck they did this week was nothing short of amazing, and the face lift they did on the 60 year old was impressive. This show is definitely going on my watch list. I really like all their cars, too. And the shoes.

They really do amazing work! The lady with the tummy-tuck and BBL had been working out and lost 50 pounds so when she got the extra skin cut off and the rest stretched it really brought out the muscle tone that was underneath. Face-lift lady looked amazing as well. It's no wonder that these women stay booked.

I almost passed out on last night's episode. A cheery, optimistic guy who lost over 150 lbs (I think) went to one of the doctors to get what he called "saggy titties" and loose stomach skin tightened. The operation was mostly a success except two weeks later one of his nipples got infected and died! I really appreciate the show showing people that sometimes unforseen things happen; even the doctor said that it's a extreme rarity that the nipples have issues after 2 weeks, but it happened and she wanted to discuss with him what to do next. Apparently she's been doing these types of breast augmentations for over 20 years and this is the first nipple she's lost (which is a testimony to how good she is) but apparently his body built up fluid behind the nipple which basically starved it of its blood supply. She ended up taking skin from his SCROTUM to create an attach a new nipple! Even weirder? It looked GREAT! And he was such a happy golden person about the whole thing, even the nipple loss. He looked good afterwards.
The next client was a woman who wanted dimples, which was not nearly as exciting as Nipple-gate. Dr. Lee obliged her, and she looked good.

I have never heard of using scrotum skin, that's a first. I'd like to see how he healed later, she did a really good job taking all that extra stuff off. And I felt for the girl with severe pectus excavatum - I have a much milder case than she did, no need for surgery. She looked great afterwards. And her husband got the huge boobs he wanted her to get. *rolleyes*

My mind kinda blurred over the boobie lady because I was in such shock over Sir Scrotum Tit. I vaguely remember her husband being kinda gross though. Honestly, if you like big tits so much you should have married someone who already had them; there's no need to give that lovely woman a complex.

The lady who'd had seven kids looked pretty good, considering. I can see where all that extra flab was bothering her, though, and they did a great job fixing it all back up and putting her boobs back up where they used to be. And who knew third boobs in your armpit were fairly common? She looked great afterwards, and you could tell she felt much better about herself. The thread/facelift thing they did on the Madonna impersonator was really intriguing. I wonder if they have that around here? I do like that they don't have the oddball cases where someone wants to look like an elf or have circus-sized boobs. Just regular people wanting to fix problems or freshen themselves up.

At first I was like "7 kids?" but one of her pregnancies produced quints so basically, 3 pregnancies. Her Mommy Makeover was so good, especially the stomach and breasts. I'm beginning to understand why some prefer women surgeons for breast work; she looked better, but very natural. Third Boob Lady also looked great with the removal and lift. The nicest thing about these doctors work is that their patients all look like better versions of themselves rather than "worked on." I don't know what magic was in those threads Dr. Lee used on the Madonna impersonator but she looked at least a good 15 years younger afterwards! I don't know why people wouldn't just do that instead of fillers because it looks better and when they dissolve actually build up the collagen production in the areas where it was placed. It's also cheaper than the old school facelifts and have a more natural look. I don't mind seeing the odd-ball cases on Botched because I don't doubt that Dr. Nassiff and Terry don't get PS junkies banging on their door every day asking for procedures and it's very good to see those type of clients turned down and why. Ethical doctors good at their craft will always put the clients physical and emotional well-being ahead of their pocketbooks. The oddball cases can also be entertaining like Elf Boy but the "I've had 25 procedures and still not happy" variety I honestly think they show as cautionary tales. On occasion, they will agree to working on them with a caveat (ie: lose or gain weight, have implants removed for a certain time, etc.) and from what I've seen the only person that was serious enough to do it was the British woman who wanted to be a caricature. She had lost weight but since she was still losing they told her to lose at least 30 more lbs. She lost 40 over the course of a year and they took her on as a client.
I also think that the difference between the two shows is that the doctors on 90210 are more people new to plastic surgery who want some work done while the doctors on Botched specialize in reconstructive procedures (the doctors that correct the mistakes of other doctors) so it makes more sense to show the type of clientele they turn down.
