Spider-Man: No Way Home
PG-13 • 2021 • Action & adventure
I was not really planning on seeing this film in the theatre but due to a snowstorm that was due to cover the entire East Coast and figured that people would stay home I went to an early afternoon viewing with maybe 6 other people in a huge auditorium. It is very nice to see a big epic film like this on a huge screen. I was pleasantly surprised it was a better film than I thought it would be.
Thankfully Sony worked with Marvel Studios to pierce together a movie combining characters from three Spiderman franchises. There were appearances from previous Spidy supervillains. The performances had depth and were not phoned in. If you don't have Disney + and have not seen the animated Legends series that taps into alternative worlds beginnings and endings of Marvel Superheroes and do not follow Dr. Strange the story may seem a bit bizarre but it bridges all of those different stories and preps the viewer for the next Dr. Strange film.
The interplay and snappy dialog between characters is always a highlight. You can follow the fight scenes, which is highly appreciated.
There are two extra scenes the second one is at the very end of the credits and is more of a trailer for the next Dr. Strange film.

It was nice to see the original characters who played Spiderman at various ages and see their perspective on their life.
