A Civil War - In the wake of a shocking blindside, players scramble for power and a pair of underdogs must choose between creating chaos or playing it safe.
Enjoy the show!

Sarah always has a scowl on her face. She's so unpleasant, and is taking last week way too personal. Wow, Cash with the dig at Ky: "Don't ever touch me." She is something else too. Then we get Shannon announcing she's hurt! Why is she even still here? I don't mind Tyson, and of course he's going to be a target. So, so what if everyone is going against him? They already were. He's awesome at these things, might as well accept that. Kyra's attempt to jump was pathetic. Just goes to show how a partner can make or break your game. Kyra being dehydrated doesn't make that a weak team because Tyson can conceivably win single-handedly. David and Desi were definitely the best looking couple tonight! But, this isn't Love Island so it doesn't even matter, I just noticed. LOL I thought Leo's redemption tour kinda began tonight. They were all so sweet to be cheering and encouraging him because of his fear of swimming. David and Desi won! Tyson and Kyra weren't on the bottom because they at least tried the rope. Enzo wouldn't even try, so he and Justine end up last. The spite on both sides is just really dumb. Desi was smart to want to stay out of the drama. Does TJ always laugh at the players on this series? They're all taking things super extra seriously, but then TJ stands there laughing.

That is so dumb this is the best shot at Tyson. Tyson got to David and Desi. Tyson was only putting people into elimination who didn't have any money so to NOT give anyone the idea of throwing Tyson into elimination as to get his money. He obviously talked to David and Desi about that strategy. However considering what the elimination was I think if Tyson and Kyra had been in it they would have won.

Enzo, Dude there will be more rope swings in your future.
That was a pathetic performance. Kyra tried twice to swing and she fell each time. Even Leo jumped into the water.

Nice to see someone NOT named Tyson or Kyland win the daily challenge.

Total BS about there not being anyone but Domenick for Angela's partner this episode.
Angela has not partnered with Derek, David, Enzo, or Ben. However if those four gentlemen had already been picked before her name came up in the algorithm then OK do Domenick.

Derek was just careless with the tire stacking, I can't believe he was that sloppy.

After watching the last two eliminations what is important is having a strategy going in. Last week Leo figured out you need to know how to measure the film reels so you know what size they are in the dark. This week Enzo figured out that you need to lay out the tires on the platform in a manner so they don't topple over. The platform was shaped like a hexagon. There was enough space to down 8 tires in each layer. You form a circle of 7 tires on the perimeter of the platform and place tire number 8 in the middle.
If Derek and Shannon had done that they would have had 8 stacks of 6 (equals 48) with the 7th layer consisting of 6 tires for a total of 55.
Enzo and Justine would have had 7 layers with the 8th layer consisting of 4 tires (56 + 4).
David and Shannon lost due to lack of planning. They had finished getting tires but their stacks were starting to fall down.
Another brains and endurance elimination.

Season 1 Episode 6 - "A Civil War" - August 10, 2022
Note: of the 9 teams competing, Ben and Sarah were not in the top three or the bottom two. They seem to be solidly stuck in the middle (4) four teams. Ben at least has been in the top three at least once. Sarah has been solidly stuck in the middle for the last 6 episodes.

Tyson - hypocrite much!
At the beginning of the episode he is "why get upset it is a game".
At the end of the episode he is "if anyone takes a shot at me I will sacrifice winning to get those two out of the game".
Huh?

At the end of the episode he is if anyone takes a shot at me I will sacrifice winning to get those two out of the game. Huh? I wondered if he is a hypocrite or excellent manipulator. By saying its just a game - he looks like the calm rational one and Sarah the crazy one. By saying you put me in Ill take you out scares David & Desi into not putting him in. He says what works best for what he needs in the moment is my guess. The other option he is an insane hypocrite ... which is also possible, but Im going to put my guess on the first one. Just like the whole "lets get out the weak players" - that benefits him the most. I don't think the ideas he plants in peoples head are accidental at all. That said, I would have liked to see D&D put in Tyson as it was the best chance to get him out with Kyra being so weak. And I don't think he really cared that much about getting out D&D. . . plus you split you duo - so now Tyson is after Ben, Sarah, David and Desi. Its a getting longer list and Im pretty sure you arent going to be at the top of it. And if you are paired with Ben or Sarah you are probably going up in regardless of if you put Tyson up this week. He had no problem throwing his friend Leo out there when it suited him. He will not think he owes u any loyalty from this week. Especially David who claimed he wanted to be a player. U disappointed me David. So what if you stay off Tyson's radar - you think either of you are beating him in the end? You just delayed *your* inevitable end at this point. I hope Tyson throws one of them in next week. I was sad to see Derek go. I really liked Derek in BB and hoping for him to make it far. Waaa waaaa for me. As always My $0.02 and still enjoying this show thoroughly! oh and for the algorithm. I assume that even though Angela hadn't been partnered with some of those - I think SOMEONE had to be re-paired. As in if you put Angela with a new partner than another partner will end up being a repeat. You don't have enough never together to have 4 new partners. Someone had to repeat - it just happened to be Angela. I didn't make a list and run the #s - but that's what I think is happening here on that.

I don’t mind Tyson or Angela much, especially with the algorithm/randomizer (TPTB ) picking new partners each week.

It’s been bliss to ignore the fact that David from Big Brother was cast on this show. But he had to go and win a competition which allowed him to get more screen time which allowed me to remember what an annoying dummy he is. David suggesting throwing Cash in because she is not a good challenger. Him saying that about literally anyone is hilarious. Every time David feels like he has power, he says and makes dumb moves. Including throwing in an alliance member Derek.
The big negative with this new show is that they never fully show enough of the game talks to explain why the pairs are thrown in. I want to see who is throwing who under the bus and who is making deals.
Happy Justine has another win, but I would have liked to see DX and Shannon keep competing.

Tyson talked to David and explained to him that there is a "winners alliance" where anyone that wins the daily challenge only throws in people who are not qualified for the final. Tyson is really protecting himself because he does not want anyone to think it would be a good idea to throw him into elimination to either potentially eliminate him as a threat in the final, or for revenge, or to get his money. He now has all the other winners basically being his meat shields. I get my info from Tyson's podcast on The Ringer. Shannon and Derek were an easy choice as both only had $1000 in their accounts. By winning the elimination Enzo only added a $1000 to his account for a total of $2000. Justine went from $7000 to $8000. Leo and Sarah were also any easy pick because they only had $1000 each in their accounts. Tyson wanted to throw in Ben and Justine but Cashay wanted to save Justine so it was Sarah and Leo. The next few episodes will be interesting as there are 8 people left who have not qualified for a final and statistically there cannot be anymore teams with both having only $1000 as Kyra has already been teamed with Ben and Danny. Only three women left who have not qualified for the final: Sarah ($2500), Cayla ($2000), and Kyra ($1000). Five men who have not qualified for the final: Domenick ($2500), Leo ($2500), Enzo ($2000), Ben ($1000), and Danny ($1000). Coming NOT LAST will be very important next episode. However it might be a good idea to come in last and potentially suggest the team you want to go into elimination against so you could have a chance to win and get their money and qualify for the final.

In the moment watching the episode I go by what the person says. I do know Tyson had talked to several Challenge OG's and is following a similar strategy to CT who basically stated if he is thrown into elimination and he comes back he will come back into the house gunning for the person or team who threw him in.

Derek was just careless with the tire stacking, I can't believe he was that sloppy. I listened to Tyson on his podcast and he made a comment that he thought the elimination was a bit unfair especially toward Shannon. Tyson mentioned that in the Survivor challenges when it comes to getting items of a pole like in this episode's elimination the Survivor game team makes sure the poles would have been cut down to account for each player's height. Shannon was the shortest female in the elimination and the shortest of all four players. Shannon was having a lot of trouble getting the tires off the poles. In fact even if she lifted the tire over her head, the tire still was not high enough to go over the top of the pole. Derek was not allowed to lift her or get tires for her. The solution was to put to create a small stack of two tires at the base of the pole so that Shannon could step up and then get a tire off the pole. I also saw that Justine was using the same technique.
