Some are among my favorites and some are among my "really- didn't- care- for- them".

Wow, I was gonna pass on this season but this looks good for real. I guess I'll continue paying for Peacock for a few months!

Wasn't Anna the one who got ill and had to leave early in her season? It's nice to see her get a second chance.

I hope her health is better this time (and that she does a better job of taking care of herself, which I think was part of the problem, no?). She was very talented, and I'd like to see what she can do.

Looks like Nina Garcia is the host for this season? I saw brief shots of both Heidi and Karlie in the preview reel, but that must have been from past seasons?

I read somewhere, before this announcement, that Christian will be both host and mentor going forward.
The video perhaps implies differently? Nina is standing alongside with Christian...

I adore Christian so as long as he is in one role, I am happy.

It's All-Stars so who knows? They used to get Alyssa Milano to host but that was in the Lifetime years. I think Bravo might want to go in a different direction so Christian may very well be doing double duty. The PR Instagram reels I've watched featured Nina, Brandon, and Elaine as well so who knows.

I'm really looking forward to this; so many people who I genuinely enjoyed in their seasons. I'm especially excited for Kara, Anna, Korto, and Rami. I wonder if Rami is still draping everything?

I don't feel like rewatching the season, but didn't Rami produce structured pieces for his finale?

Yes, his finale collection included a variety of draping, textures and structure, although his color palette was a little dour, all teals, maroons and blacks. He knew he had to counter the reputation he had with the judges for being obsessed with draping most of the season. (Honestly he really did try to insert it into a couple of challenges where it didn't belong...) His looks on his first All-Stars season on Lifetime had more variety too. But he'll probably always be referred to by fans as the "draping" designer.

Yes, he does other things but it's all in good fun. He will forever be my Drapery King!

90 minutes of Meet the All Stars is on tonight. Kind of wish I wasn't watching live, so I could FF through some of the screaming during their reunions; even though it's nice they're excited to see each other I just don't care for all the screaming. It's nice to hear what they've been up to since the show. Even though I feel like I've seen all the seasons, I can't remember a few of these people. Kayne? Top five and top seven when he was on before, but I honestly don't remember him. I guess my memory is worse than I thought. haha -- maybe it will come back to me when I see them in the workroom. Brittany is heard over and over again freaking out about her competition, so her self-confidence isn't there and will likely be a theme. We saw lots and lots of tears in the previews. Looks like there is a lot of talent in this group! I'm really looking forward to the season, but I sure hope the judging is reasonable and fair (not like some times!). The first challenge brings back each designer's lowest look, the one that got them eliminated (or almost), and they have to reimagine it. They don't have to use the same fabric or silhouette, just the "spirit" of the look. Previews of the twist, and the judging don't look good! It was interesting to see all those outfits that weren't good, like Nora's wedding dress? ugh! Viktor's model wearing stilts! Hestor says she stands by her look - sheer dress with nipple covers, all in a weird light green. On WWHL, Christian says he was excited to see the Season 1 people come back, and Rami too. He even admitted to crying this season, along with about everyone else because there were lots of emotions, it was an emotional journey. He says he is not a crier, usually doesn't care that much: Make a dress, we're not doing anything else here! His crying moment is about something that happens between him and Rami, a big surprise that's very dramatic, he admits.

Just finished watching the "Meet the AllStars" episode and it's absolutely delightful. One of the things I appreciate about this season is that it's comprised of people who have never won the regular season or All-Stars; one of my biggest pet peeves about the Lifetime years is they would bring back previous winners to compete (who would promptly win again) and it wasn't fair, let someone else shine! It's really nice to see what everyone is doing now, and how far they've come. Korto was making comparisons of PR now vs her season because she walked in and said "Things are a lot nicer than I remember." I remember when her little girl walked the final runway with her, and she's in college now! And how lovely that both Mila and Kara Saun made a pivot into Costume Design and are now making costumes for the new Barbie movie and Disney's Descendants, respectively? Nora's conversion from punk rock gal to Suburban Mom is interesting, and she's still doing great work. Bishme continues to be a sweetheart, and I had to laugh at Anna saying that she wasn't intimidated by anyone old because she was "fresh air" lol. I also love seeing Rami's lasting friendship with Christian, and he had a lovely black and white draped dress in his new work that I want, lol.
What's really nice is that while everyone is ambitious and want to win there's a lot of love and respect with this group. Many of the competitors were inspired by those on earlier seasons, and there's a lot of admiration of other people's work. There's an amazing array of talent this year. I have to admit that their first task (reworking the outfit that was their lowest point/got kicked off for) is ingenious. I laughed so hard when Korto said "I'm embarrassed for myself and everyone else. No one wants to claim their work. You know it's bad when no one wants to claim their children. CPS is coming!" and Fabio saying "I repressed the memory of that outfit in my mind so far I don't even remember it!" Looking forward to whenever Peacock decides to upload tonight's episode!

It's 4PM in CA and I'm starting to watch it on Peacock. It probably dropped a bit earlier, though. I feel for the season 1 designer. From what I've seen so far, she looks left out of all the fun. Hope she gets her chance.

This is new old news....so, new news about something that happened a long time ago As if we all needed another reason to love Tim Gunn (putting this here because it's about PR and not MtC) OR another reason to hate Harvey Weinstein. Maybe others have heard this story, but I definitely missed it. This is a bonus video, but there's an hour long interview with him on this same channel.

It would be a shame if Bravo doesn't pick up Project Runway Season 21. Anyway, I've purchased a thing or two when Project Runway items were auctioned off. I also once purchased a JC Pennys Project Runway winning look jacket. IMO, money well spent. In case anyone else is interested in a steal of a deal memorabilia, I just bought a "Making the Cut Season 3 Episode 2 Champion Collab Winning Look Rafael's Reverse Weave Oversized Vest" in size XS-Med for $8.86 on Amazon. I notice the price has gone up to $9.14. The regular price, which there are other size ranges selling for is $125. Size XS-Med is enormous and I imagine would easily fit someone up to an XL. The vest is well-made and heavy. Would I have ever paid full price for the red vest? Absolutely not. When I ordered, did I intend to return it if I hated it? Absolutely yes. However, I'm keeping it and once the weather turns cold, I'll wear it over black workout gear while walking the dog during the wee hours, and strongly doubt I'll ever be hit by a car! In case anyone is interested in a $9.14 steal of a deal ... www.amazon.com/dp/B09WZ8ZF8G?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1&psc=1
