ALERT: The "Meet The All Stars" special that aired last night will air again at 8PM ET tonight, before the season premiere at 9PM ET.
Project Redemption - (Season Premiere) For their first challenge of the competition, the All-Star designers have to rewrite history by reinventing the look that either got them eliminated or gave them the lowest score in their past, and turn it into a high-fashion moment for the runways of today.
New episodes air each Thursday night on Bravo, and will be available for streaming the next day on Peacock.
Enjoy the show!

I loved Fabio's look -- he's always so cool. Bishme's was fine but I didn't think it was a top 3 look, so maybe he got bonus points for the struggles he had w/his grieving? Kayne's was very pretty, and definitely a reimagining of his first look, so I can see why he won.
Nora's really was bad, and if they hadn't sent her home it would've been ridiculous. Bad fabric, questionable design of the dress, and then bad sewing did her in. The mermaid dress was a "miss" too but it had just enough to keep that woman in the competition (but not for long unless she learns to edit!). Strappy Viktor at least did a lot of detailed work, even though it was weird, and that sparkly fabric should've just been tossed out, so hopefully being in the bottom three will wake him up.
Laurence had a beautiful outfit too. I even liked Prajje's orange tight dress! Anna's was a mess, and her attitude this time is strange. Hester's outfit was weird too, but I know she wanted it to be, so ... success? She wants to make us think, when looking at it, but all I thought was "ew" so I'm not sure that's what she meant. Korto's outfit was pretty, and that's all I can remember off hand.
Loved Christian, and the judging! Judges were pretty kind to everyone. Alicia was nice but her near-exposure was very distracting! The dress probably worked better when standing than sitting, so it was a definite bottom three look for me! LOL I'm so glad the show is back!!!

Between Kara and Nora, I believe Kara should have gone home. Kara's dress was very old-ladyish,very little mermaidish, and very gaudy IMO. And the boots - ouch! They did not work.
Like the judges noted, Nora's dress was a very bland colour, but it would have looked much better had she kept her original model. Her sewing was sub par for sure, but likely would have improved in the weeks to come.
I hope Nora looks improve!

Enjoyed the show as well as the Introduction to the season. I loved Kayne's outfit---it certainly deserved the win. I did notice that there was a huge range of talent in the models. Kayne's girl worked the outfit perfectly while some of the others had far less ability to display the outfits.
Since the designers have only their pictures to work from, it would be hard to determine if the model would work the runway as the designer would want it to be done.
I agree that the two bottom looks were well deserved. I am surprised that Nora agreed to come back since she knew her sewing skills were not what they had been. Looks like her work in the design field has become more administrative.
I did not expect Kara's to be so bad. If she was a newbie contestant I am sure Nina would have commented on her taste level....even CS told her to take off a piece of jewelry (which was amazingly garish ) and she still was giving us way too much clutter.
I was surprised that the PR people let Alicia come out with that dress. I questioned her taste level to wear that.

I noticed that a lot of OG PR people didn't touch the Allstars shows when it was on Lifetime. The show on Bravo is definitely a different animal than those horrible days. Another thing I noticed is that the judging cards had photos of the original and revised looks for them to reference.
I felt so badly for Bishme as he was probably told about his inclusion in the show around the time his sister transitioned. He probably decided to do the show anyway to get his mind off things, only to be asked to recreate a dress that was based on something he did with his sister in mind? I can't even imagine, and it's amazing he did as well as he did. I have to admit at first I thought Prajje's dress was super tacky in the workroom but it looked great on the runway. Absolutely LOVED both Fabio's and Kayne's looks and would have been happy with either winning. There were several looks that were really good, making for an interesting runway.
Viktor was saved because he had an excellent explanation for his outfit, and while there were some taste issues the whole thing was really well put together and immaculately sewn. Kara and Nora both deserved to be on the bottom but ultimately what I think was the deciding factor was while Kara's dress had too high a slit and desperately needed editing the overall craftsmanship was there and the fabric she chose was both beautiful and one Kara had experience working with. While I appreciate what Nora was doing with the petals in front the craftsmanship wasn't there. That dress looked like a fourth grader sewed it for a Girl's Scout badge, and then to add insult to injury she chose a fabric that showed every pucker, bump, and crooked stitch. Part of a designer's job is knowing what fabric will work for your vision and skillset, and she failed miserably in both fabric selection and execution. I think that it was a good decision on the judges part because everyone else was doing Grad school work while she's working at a High School level.

Didn't Christian even warn Nora that she shouldn't use that material because it would have to be sewn perfectly---otherwise every mistake would show, especially in that color?
I figured Nora would be in the bottom two even while they were still in the workroom. Liked what Kayne was doing then, too, and I liked that even though he was without some of the material he thought he was going to have, he didn't panic but just came up with a plan B, which even he said might have been for the best anyway.
BTW, I thought you weren't allowed to switch models on PR and worked with what you had. Is that no longer the rule? I don't think it really would have made a difference this time, since those who switched models ended up in the bottom two, but it could make a difference in the future if people are allowed to do that. But maybe that's okay and not against the rules.

He sure did warn her. Sometimes it pays to listen to the mentor, especially one as experienced with fabrics as Christian. Not only that, they know they will be a contestant months before they film, and she admitted that she hadn't sewn in years. Wouldn't that be a good time to get the old sewing machine out and practice different stitches, etc so the first time you've touched a machine wouldn't be during the actual competition?

It sounded like Christian also understood the issue, saying something about how he isn't the one who sews his own designs anymore either, so he doesn't spend as much time sewing as he once did. When he was on PR, Christian was known for his excellent sewing skills, so if he was the one suggesting to her that he wouldn't feel as confident now in his sewing skills as he once was, Nora really should have taken that as a big hint. Just because she was revising a wedding dress didn't mean she had to use those materials. A lot of the people who revised their looks revised in a big way. She could have used the flower idea with a floral print, which would have been easier. Or a more subdued floral trim/design of some kind.

Wouldn't that be a good time to get the old sewing machine out and practice different stitches, etc so the first time you've touched a machine wouldn't be during the actual competition? Exactly! It's like when people would go on Hell's Kitchen when they didn't know how to make risotto. You KNOW you're going to have to make it, so practice and prevent yourself from looking like a fool. Nora KNEW she was going to have to sew, so she should have been practicing, even before she knew she'd been chosen for the show.
I thought Kara Saun's dress was pretty awful - the beads? UGH - but I think the judges may have appreciated the big swing vs. Nora's bland dress.
Alicia Silverstone's dress was oddly fitted. Kind of a disappointment to come on this show and wear that. It was a strange choice.
The cast this season is SO talented. There aren't many who I don't think could win....maybe Hester, who's clearly worked on her confidence, but who I don't think it at the level of many of the others. If everyone is working at their full powers, I think it could almost be anyone's competition to win. As they came in the door on the last episode, it was just great designer after great designer. I'm looking forward to the season!

But maybe that's okay and not against the rules. Yes, Kayne didn't have his horsehair! Which to me, would have put that dress over the top and costumey, so I'm glad he didn't have it. I loved the way the fabric flowed, and it wouldn't have with the horsehair. Speaking of panic, poor Viktor needed his inhaler when his model just didn't show up! Wow, what in the world? I can't imagine what her situation would be to miss such a big opportunity, but hope she's okay. The sub model and Viktor ended up making it work, though, even though it was very last minute. Poor guy. I didn't like his look, but what a panic to have to adjust like that so quickly. I don't know about the rules for switching models, but you're right, it probably wouldn't have made much difference in this instance. I thought Kara's dress was basically a Barbie doll dress with the fabric being super stiff and glittery, then with the high boots. It was the beads dripping off her breast though that really threw me.
